People say and the ssbm page also say that if you go to ADV mode with any char, in hard, normal o very hard in less than 18 min and without loosing a live, winning bowser, you'll get gigabowser as a playble character..

that's a dirty lie, if you play through adventure mode on normal or higher within a certain time, you will fight Giga Bowser, and defeating him reward you with his trophy

Flygon Prince is right. Play adventure mode and do it in under 18 minutes (1.5 mins per level), after beating Bowser normally, the cutscene where Bowser's trophy falls through the sky will change. Instead, it will carry on falling and hit the Final Destination. Then, the Bowser trophy (which is about 10x your size) starts to crumple and then Giga Bowser comes out (its the only bit in the whole game that I would class as even remotely scary). Then fight Giga Bowser to get his trophy.

Also, you can lose a life when you do it, you just cannot use any continues (until you actually get to Giga Bowser).
