They're all pretty good. xP

Umm png makes it so your pictures don't get blurred. Usually, jpeg is for real life pictures. But when you jpeg a sprite, it makes it look all crappy.

saving a picture as a JPG gives the sprite so-called 'artifacts', randomly placed, different colored pixels, that mess up your sprite. try zooming in on one of your JPG-ed sprites.

saving as a PNG does not give the 'artifacts', is keeps the image the same way as if you saved it like a standard paint file, BMP. The big difference between BMP and PNG is the size of the image. BMP uses more space on your computer for the same size sprite.

clear? :)

EDIT: forgot to comment on your work. It could be considered spam now.
your fusions are quite good, but look a bit copy-pasted. try scratching (creating from nothing) to make them blend more. You don't have to start scratching the entire parts, but maybe some points to make them look better, like on the totodile/mudkip fusion, you just cutted off totodile's tail, try scratching it's behind. I like the absol/vulpix and charmander/cubone fusions though. they're nice :)

I don't have much experience on commenting chao, but they look fine.
Same for devamps.

extreme devamps are well-done. The treecko seems a tad small, but it's okay. At least you've used the correct amount of colors (at least in my count)

The revamps are quite nice, but they need an outline like RSE or even DP sprites. What you've done is creating all-color outlines, which turns out nice sometimes, but isn't in the pokémon style. And chicorita seems to have an odd, brown color.

anime-outlines: not to much to say actually. just a 3-pixels black outline, with all the interior outlines being black aswell. Pretty basic idea, but well executed (spelling?).

kirby/pikachu fusion: all i have to say: don't mix spriting styles.

red-blue torchic: what's up with that? Well, you kept the shading, used two/three (?) different colors per color. Good job.

Not all of them are copy and pasty, just a few. Try and work on that for your next post.
