Yeah same Pokemon.

Yes, there are the islands (7 of them, the first 3 are unlocked when you beat Blaine, the other 4 are unlocked after getting the national dex [beat the league with at least 60 Pokemon owned]).

FR/LG are OK, but I prefer R/S. I have got them to get the pokemon I need. FR is also good to get things like EXP Share and hold evolution items.

1. Its just an improved version of Red/Blue
2. Charizard has some sweet moves: Dragon claw,Belly Drum,Rock Slide
3. Its basically the same thing
4. Yes you can...Duh >.>
5. Same people but different pokemon in the Elite Four/Gym leaders
6. There are 7 new islands in Fire Red

I like FR/LG. True, they tell the same story as Red/Blue, but the gameplay's been updated to the current Ruby/Sapphire style. They're the only games in which you'll find many Kantos and they have the new Islands to explore. I prefer the FR/LG sprites for the first 151, and I like their stat screen better. There's enough stuff added to make the games worthwhile even if you've played Red/Blue.

4. Yes. I can still catch Mewtwo with my Master Ball.

1. Nothing really bad now, just more stuff in it.
2. Charizard is the best! He is my favorite! Get him! Get him! So yeah, I think you just get Charizard.
3. Ditto sucks. Unless you use him for breeding.
4. Of course you can catch Mewtwo! Just beat the elite and then complete the network machine (those will become clearer later).
5. Same Gyms, Gym Leaders, and same 151 PKMN.
6. No new cities, except 7 new islands that you will have unlimited access to, and two islands that you need a special ticket to get there to catch incredibly rare pokemon (only one and two pokemon there. But they are legendaries.)
