surf or muddy water?

I have a Swampert on Emerald that has muddy water,mud slap,take down and blizzard..but I was thinking on giving him a better movepool, so which one you think is better,muddy water or surf?

Definitely Surf. It has better accuracy than Muddy Water.

I agree with the others, out of personal experience. Muddy water is cool because it is an exclusive move but it really doesnt compare with surf. For Dmg purposes and acc, surf is yor best bet.

Surf, it is better with acc and, duh, it lets you surf lol.
P.S. your Swampert has the same moveset as mine except for the muddy water/surf thing, oh, and it knows earthquake, not mudslap.

I think Surf is better, but when your Swampert is going to learn a new move, you can remove Muddy Water, but you can't Surf.

;227; Yes you can. Go to the Move Deleter and delete Surf before you learn it, and then you can teach the move to them. Or if you were forced to not learn because of Surf, delete Surf and give the Move Tutor a Heart Scale.

Oh, yeah, go with Surf, Ice Beam over Blizzard, EQ over Mud-Slap and Rest over Take Down. Take Down is only good on Rock Head Pokes.

-Not only on Swampert
-It is more accurate.

Ingame (and only Ingame), Surf is great on Swampert.

Like he'll have to fight trainers on the Hoenn mainland that have Pokemon over level 70 *laughs*

Mud Slap? Ugh.

Anyway, go with Surf. It's an HM so it comes in handy and it does have better accuracy than Muddy Water.

I would go with Muddy Water.

1. It looks cool.
2. It's signature.
3. It actually has an effect to it.

But both will work fine.
