There are a few people around this sub-forum, but I don't know much about you. I mean, not personally but TCG wise! So I think it's great if we did a little survey!

1.Do you play the TCG, or do you just collect?
2.Where do you play and how often? (not geographically but what KIND of atmosphere)
3.How much time/money do you put into the game in a week/month
4.If you play the TCG what deck do you play?(Or your favorite CURRENTLY you play)
5. Why do you play or collect?
6.How long have you played/collected for
7. Your biggest success in the TCG (Doesn't matter how big or small, we've all started somewhere!)

Might as well do this myself!
1.A little of both, moreso play but collect if I didn't have schooling to pay for
2.Just my little league at the card shop. Absolutely LOVE the community. I've waltzed in missing 3 Lugia EX and still managed to borrow them like nothing.(Shout out to you Team Galaxy!)
3.Ugh..I wanna say about 3-5 Active hours of time and 20 a week...But I'm probably in denial..
4.Lately I've been up on Garbodor/Sableye/Absol. Lots of hammer disruption, lockdown and ohh all the fun! Raticate is a love of mine too.
5.It's so relaxing, yet brain straining. I love nothing more than relaxing with friends and playing out the waves
6.Actively with my OWN funds im approaching a year! And I've come a long way!
7.We don't actually have premier events yet. So that's a shame. But I've managed to top at league every week for a month now! (2nd,3rd,2nd)

1. I'm a tester, but now I'm just looking at the fact of amassing a massive collection (hehehe)
2. I play once a week at league in a slightly competitive atmosphere, most of the people I play with play for a tournament top cut standing against they're rival town, they can't beat, myself I play with alot of various people online over skype or msn or whatever we have to use, various decks, etc, etc, etc, makes up for a majority of the deck testing.
3. Every 4 months, I usually spend 100-200$, but so far I think i've spent 500$ of plasma freeze (I made more back from it, hehehe)
4. uhhh plasma variants so to speak and buffolant/ninetails/terrakionEX/etherdex
5. I play for myself, I like to collect to have a cool collection.
6. When did pokemon come out? That answers you're question.
7. A few top cuts, a tournament win or 2, idk, Idc, I play to play.

1. I play it, but I also collect the old cards.
2. Every Friday, 4pm at a specialist gaming store.
3. About.... £30 a month?
4. I am currently running an 'Eeveelutions' deck. It has all of the team plasma eeveelutions in it. Before I was running an electric 'Rayquaza' deck. Before that, it was a fighting type deck. There are a few more that I can't remember.
5. It's a hobby that my Dad is willing to pay for. :D
6. Just over 2 years.
7. The time when I beat a plasma freeze deoxys with only an unevolved eevee. No one could believe that. XD Kinda stupid, seeing as I'm pretty good at it, but I love that moment..

Ahh~ I love it when scrubs buy actual decks and think they're pro and when they're amazing card gets knocked out, brings em down a notch. Whatever I beat a landorous with a tynamo+htl, 5-6 rounds of status lock, hehehe.

1.After just getting back into the game I'm more collecting than playing at the moment mainly due to lack of playable cards.
2.Normally just play with my friend who restarted collecting with me. But we have gone to our not so local league a few times and met some nearly nice players and had a good time.
3.As much as my paycheck allows me haha. Try to build a deck once a week and tweak it by playing it a few times.
4.My favorite deck I've built has to be garchomp mewtwo. I don't have any hope of building a tier 1 deck but this certainly punches above its weight. Only have 1 good garchomp and 1 mewtwo ex it cleaned up at my league and hasn't lost to friend..... Yet.
5. For the fun of it. I've collect mtg and yu gi oh but had never played pokemon tcg properly as akid so thought it'd be fun to give it a goand I'm enjoying it more than I did with the other 2.
6.Really only 3 months or so but if you count hoarding allmycards from when I was younger 12/ 13 years haha.
7. Beating my friend for the first time he was running resh and arcanine which trashed me game in game out for weeks. Then I got my garchomp deck together ;)

I play locally. Some have a very competeive air about them, but most are just friendly.

3.How much time/money do you put into the game in a week/month

Quite a bit. When I go into town I can't resist buying a special tin or promo pack.

5. Why do you play or collect?

It's very fun to collect and it's even better to buy a random pack and get an awesome card in it. I was bullied a long time ago (it's affected me quite a bit, though people don't know) and they only thing to help me was collecting cards (It made me feel like I had friends. Unfortunately one of the girls took my favorite card, Ditto, and rubbed it across the ground, so it's basically ruined forever. I still have that card, and every time I look at it, I know how much better I am then her)

6.How long have you played/collected for

12 years collecting, 7 years competing.

7. Your biggest success in the TCG (Doesn't matter how big or small, we've all started somewhere!)

Nearly getting to Championship level. The person that beat me that year came 2nd overall, so a worthy opponent indeed.

1.I mostly collect, but I do love playing with friends
2. I mostly play casually, with the occasional serious game
3. I usually put in a few hours a week organizing my collection, and I spend a few dollars here and there for new cards
4.Fire/water deck. Built for casual play, with most cards from the first base set through to Neo Genesis. (I'd like to play with new cards, but I don't have enough yet!)
5.I enjoy playing as it's just good fun, especially when a battle is close with only one prize left for both trainers.
6.Collecting since 2000,played 2000-04, then started again in 2010 to this day. I stopped for six years because I just got absorbed into other hobbies for a time.
7.Beating my friends tournament deck, with my deck full of old cards :D
