Syncronize + Legendary = nothing?

I captured a syncronizing modest Ralts to try and get a Modest Lugia and Ho-oh but after two days of resets I've not encountered a single one. Anyone else notice this? (And yes this is in Emerald).

It's probably just luck. The same should apply for Lugia and Ho-Oh as it does for any Pokémon. Keep trying; I'm sure you'll run into one sooner or later.

Maybe you should have more Modest Pokémon with you? Don´t know if it helps though...

I don't think synchronization has any effect on legendary pokemon since they are really not randomly wild. I tried using a Xatu with careful nature for the regi pokemon but to no luck after over 10 tries.

I'll try that, but right now the Ralts is all I have (since I have two master balls to use).

I used my syncronizing 'Zam when I got my Rayquaza and got a modest 1st try. Maybe that was just luck.

I have found a timid which I thought about keeping but its IVs were dismal. I'm at over 100 resets and not a single modest. If I leave the island can I come back? I saved right in front of Lugia. I was thinking about getting more Ralts (power in numbers).

meh. Go for Lonely Ho-oh and Bold/Calm Lugia.

But just keep trying.

You need to get a ticket from a Nintendo Event (Nintendo Rocks America).

That is only partially true. The Lati that wanders the world map is set in stone, however, the one found at Southern Island is not.

And since when were we talking about Lati@s?

And I was having this same problem when I was trying to catch Latios. I doubt it affects legendaries, which is cheap.

So with the above info, would catching a adamant ralts with synchronize help me hatch a adamant heracross?

I don't think so because the synchronize thing only affect pokemon in the wild, but if you want an easy adamant heracross, put a female adamant heracross or a adamant ditto holding everstone with a male heracross and the egg will have 50% change of being adamant.
PS: It only works on emerald.

Do you have your Ralts first in your party? If not, try that... it seems to work.
