Lady Myuu
Damsel mostly Stressed.
Before I start the preivew, I want to explain some things first. I've always adored Mewtwo, ever since I was the n00b newbie I adored Mew as well. I even shipped them (And a small part of me does still, but thats for me only) and well, the whole idea of more then one mewtwo makes me rather happy.
The only fic I have of now is The Hourglass, easily to update as it has no sturdy plot and its written when I get an idea. Kind of a silly thing to do as it tends to probably leave plot holes but hey I havn't heard any complaints.
*watches the flames roll in* darn...
Anyway, this idea is based off the first movie, which I usually dislike to use as its alot harder to shape the anime to my will then the games. But I've decided that the way the movie set up Mewtwo would work...
Now I call this an Alternate Reality version or Alternate Universe. Mewtwo's character while very breif actually in the whole story idea is not exactly the same as the one in the movie.
Instead of making clones of various pokemon and challanging trainers trying to be all macho, he is a perfectioness. He finds humans/himself imperfect and he believes the only way he can repair it is by well, replace humanity with a new race (much like his but with minor changes to make them perfect)
kind of the cliche 'The world is tainted lets start it over!' mad man plot... but no one is there to stop the mad man o.o';
trying to decide if hte mad man is mewtwo or me << >>
Anyway, so don't go expecting an IC mewtwo from the movie (as thats hard to do anyway. I hate using anime characters gya) but the same setting as the movie, humanity being taken down via floods and storms. Mewtwo has made his castle on new island and instead of creating all those superclones, he has spent quite some time perfecting his own design...
Prologue: Forty Years
The sky swirled with heavy clouds, the thunder cracked loudly with the ground shaking power. The lightening was endless as it flashed across in its quick but beautiful bolts of instant death. The heavy rain that had fallen only moments ago had subsided.
The flooding that had swarmed the earth for so long was slowly draining back into its stores, the power that forced it to go where water was never meant to go growing weaker tired and done.
He was finally done.
It had taken more then forty years; more time then he even knew he could live. But finally, the world was free of the pests that had plagued it. The imperfect pests that had slowly been destroying it… and now it could be renewed.
He knew he was imperfect, for he was made by imperfect beings. But he had strive during the forty years of war against the beings that had created him, to make a perfect version of what he was.
‘Master’ One of the many creatures he had created stood near; it was a female version. He was quite pleased with his new creations. Making both male and female and perfecting the DNA flaws that he had.
‘It is done.’ The male voice replied to the female, his violate eyes turning towards her slightly before he looked back out onto the tossing sea. ‘The world is free of that plague known as humanity’
‘Are you pleased, master?’ She asked him, seeming to know his answer all ready. Of course she did, her mind was not her own. All the others had no true thought or intention unless he wished so.
But he knew that he could no longer hold them to this purposeless life. He would not be like those who created him. No, he was a god now and like any god, he must set his people free, so they can choose for themselves. But they were perfect; he had made them perfect… there was no way they would choose wrong.
‘Not quite.’ Lifting his rounded fingers, his eyes glowed softly with an enchanted power before the female blinked, her head jerking as her own thought began. The very first time she ever had a thought for herself. It was strange for her, to realize she was alive, that this was real. That she was something not like the walls and the floor, something different.
She was a being.
But the male that stood near her was not a fool; he did not keep her from knowing nothing. He had released her along with the others he had created. He had programmed her mind with an understanding of what she was who he was and that this was now a new beginning.
She looked at him a long time, as even though she understood so much and was not a child. She was still a new mind and she had to take time to think.
‘Why… did you set us free?’
He smirked, what an odd first question for her to ask. He turned his gaze back towards the sea as the clouds began to part away, allowing sunlight to filter through. It had been the first time in ten years since he had seen the sun.
‘I am old. This body was not made for age… I set my children free so they can have this world and show what a true perfect life can be.’
‘… But, what if we do not wish to leave?’ She asked him, her eyes flashing a bit with psychic power, as the creature tested her ability to use such things.
‘I will not live much longer, my body will die even though my mind is so strong. There is nothing here for you.’ He looked at her again and for the first time in a very long time. He felt as if he would cry. He forgot these emotions, even though his creations had no thought at first… he felt them all, as though it seemed he was speaking to just this one female.
She was passing his words onto the others. And they… were mourning. Even though he had kept them almost as slaves, they understood that he was just waiting for them to be free. He knew some were angry, not sure if this was the purpose meant to be, others were afraid, like this one, she was a younger one, one of the last… she was afraid of being on her own.
‘You give us this new world expecting us to do good… but we have no understanding of anything good or wrong, master. What shall we do?’
‘You will not call me master.’ He replied to her simply. ‘That is one of the many laws I wish for my children to follow.’
‘Laws… my father?’
He paused at that, how quick they learned, how quick they understood. He truly felt overwhelmed at this… he forgot how he was when he was created. How he was just like them, he wanted to know and learn everything.
‘Yes,’ He continued, ‘The first law is no Mewtwo shall kill another Mewtwo, this law is gravely important as if broken you will have lowered yourself to the level the race I just destroyed was at.’
‘The second law is no Mewtwo shall kill a lower pokemon unless it is for meat or survival.’
‘The third law is no Mewtwo shall be master over another. I have made you all equal, male and female alike.’
‘The Fourth is to show respect to each other, be of aid and forgive.’
‘The Fifth and final law never hold objects above life. The corrupt humanity I destroyed held such things above all life and with it destroyed them.’
The old graying creature nodded to himself, believing while he had been corrupted and had broken his own laws. He could redeem himself by making his race perfect. His graying purple tail swayed a bit as he lifted his weak shaking hand and placed it on the window seal of the building.
‘You are our creator and father, we will never break these laws in honor of you.’ She dipped her head in respect. ‘Because we would be nothing with out you.’
‘You may go, go throughout this world and populate it. Make it your own. Destroy anything that is tainted with humanities touch that survived my floods.’
She turned to go, before pausing and he felt her stop the link with the others, no longer relaying his message to them. She turned back towards him and he glanced at her, giving her a puzzling look. He could easily access her mind if he wished… but he had removed that ability of mind reading from his creations, knowing privacy is a key to perfection. Or so he believed.
She walked up beside the larger and much older male and looked out at the sea. She placed her soft pink three-fingered hand on top of his, not in a sign of attraction but a sign of respect for her father.
‘You wish to die?’
He sighed looking away from the female clone, she had a more animal like appearance then he. As he stayed closer to a pure mew like DNA when he created her, she had the ears of his founder blood and her frame was much frailer. While she had the legs they were also of a smaller build. She was of a solid soft pink color with violate eyes, he designed most females with this frame, not that he believed they should be weaker but that more energy went into childbirth and raising, they had more strength then what appeared.
As it was a complicated matter when it came to his species, he could not risk any sort of complications with the females and the ability for them to breed. They are a key to his perfect world.
‘I am imperfect, I do not wish my human like ways to affect you anymore then they have.’
‘Then give me a name.’ She said, ‘And allow me to give others a name.’
He blinked a bit, turning his gaze back to her and sighed. How very human of her… but then again. He couldn’t expect them to be completely unwilling to understand the last dominant race.
‘That kind of ruins the point, Niu.’
‘Thank you, father.’
And she remained with him until he no longer breathed.
A new species had taken the earth, a creation that was neither pokemon nor man but perhaps a bit of both. With the death of the first being they set forth to do his will. Make a New World for themselves and the purpose they were given.
But perfection isn’t something created… and over time… everything rots.

yeaaaah... the preview takes place probably a couple years before the first chapter. Can anyone tell me why I like to not use humans in my stories? I'm so odd 8D
