Take screenshots of gameboy progress

I read in a past issue of NOM (Nintendo official magazine with Dean, Tim, Mike and the rest of the crew) that there was a special item that allows you to take screenshots of your gameboy. Does anyone have anymore more information?

Well, if you're looking to buy one, I don't have a clue where you could. >>; Also, they'll be really expensive. Anyway, you plug it into your Gameboy, and I think there's a button on the side you press for every picture you need. Either that or it takes pics automatically after a set amount of time. It hooks up to your PC at the same time, and transfers the screenshot into your files.

Hope that helps. >>; And I hope that's what you were talking about. xD

I remember that issue, they showed part of it, there was a cable in the Gameboy another end in the PC I assume, and I assume it works how Joey said. I'll hunt down my old copy and see if I can get it scanned in.

Yes, it's called a camera. Why would you need a special item?

You get glare with a camera, you don't with this.

You guys could take screenshots using an emulator, which is the official Serebii method.

Super Aipom

Aipom is on TV now!?
It is called a digital camera.
Digital Camera Method
Plug the Gamecube/N64 into the VCR. Plug the camera into the VCR. Use a Game Boy Player and play away or bring out Stadium 2 and play your Gameboy generation games. Now you can record anything that shows up.
Basically if your camera can hook up to the VCR and has a "REC PAUSE" or similar feature you should be fine.

Sorry about that... now you know video and not pics. Also those cameras are pretty expensive.

Well you could always hook up the camera to the computer and when you get the frame you want just pause and save the picture.

Umm... if it was a camera, i would of said it was. It is NOT a camera or a digital camera. PkmnTrainerJ & Joey have got the right idea, though. I didn't know about the REC senario though, thanks.

No, it wasn't emulators, either. It was in a NOM UK magazine.
