Aside from Delia/Oak and Giovanni, we haven't seen any other older recurring or main characters in BW.

Back in DP or AG, we haven't seen an old character IN THE FIRST SEASON OF IT'S INCARNATION!!

Do you guys realize Dawn/Brock are getting these because the writers DON'T want them in Best Wishes. They don't want any old characters still around in the show.

This is the way to give them one final appearance while not having them appear in the main show.

Pls show me were this was stated by the writers and ill believe you but since you have no proof stop acting like you know everything.

You mean aside from the fact that everyone notices Best Wishes feels like the biggest fresh start/reboot the show had, while still keeping Ash around?

This is the closest we've ever gotten to a reboot, and no, the beginning of AG wasn't a reboot.

So that is not proof, unless it is stated by the writers that there will be no more specials then there can be more.

Why would they stop making BW eps to focus on old characters? Doing it for one week is fine, but if they continue to do this they cannot advertise the current games or progress the current story.

I'm a bit anxious for this episode. Something shippy might be pulled... something mind****... maybe Brock finally gets a girl. You can't be waving around a "Doctor" or even a "Doctor to be" title without luck with girls... Unless it's a Ph.D in World History or some other crap.

Anything could happen, but I anticipate nice, epic, maybe a few saucy things from this episode. Only thing I would agree with is that this is all the Post-4th-Gen screen time these guys are getting.

Cybercubed doesn't understand japanese, so he missed the fact that the official first preview said REVIVAL in huge characters when describing the special. Couple that with Dawn's theme playing and her getting a new journey supports that we will see more of her in the future.

I always get a good laugh when someone is brave enough to try to pass his opinions as facts without any proof whatsoever to back up such claims.

There is no way to know if Dawn and Brock will get cameo in Best Wishes.What your saying is nothing more than assumption.

You said same thing about May staying for DP,Gliscor never returning,Ash Johto team never bieng seen again.,Gary never returning,no chance of ther ever being any new spoecials(yet Bock and Dawn spoecials proved otherwise) etc,etc,etc but things turned out differently did they?

He always does that.Due to amount of guesses and speculation sometimes people manage to guess some things,but in most cases things turn out differently than they expected.

Except its not a reboot.Ash,Team Rocket,Gioanni,Dehlia,prof.Oak etc are still there with connection to past not being cut.Its pretty much similar to start Ag or DP had with few changes like another new character being added to group.

As long Ash is part of show older characters have chance to return,even going that far as returning them to main cast(like they did with Brock giving him second chance).

Yes because "making few more specials would bring in danger opportunity to advertize new games"(sarcasm).Seriously its not like they would make whole saga out of specials.

And who speaks about slot which is reserved for BW.They could use Saturday slot to air new specials if they wish to do so.New specials would certainly caught interst from audience if we go by demand atrtracting more of older viewers toward show meaning bigger TV ratings.

If they care about money,this is their opportunity to get even more.

Also everybody is worried that best wishes will be short well these specials are a perfect way to make the series longer plus old faces return and loose ends can gett tied up so I fail to see a problem with these specials lol the writers make money and fans get to see their favorites again. Its a win for everybody other then cyber lol.

The 5th picture caught my eye. Latias may be wild, but I hope it isn't. Rhyperior definitely might be Brock's or his brother's pokemon.
Dawn with Rowan, and Cyndaquil there suggest it evolves on screen which is good.

It's Latias, the female counterpart of Latios (the blue one). I know, I know, but they are technically two different Pokemon.

And.....OH CRAP! Tobias what the hell, what Pokemon don't you have? (normal, Pokemon).

Creepy Girl following Dawn seems to have chosen Chimchar as her starter.

The Enigma Stone event in HGSS took place in Pewter City, and involved the Soul Dew within the stone attracting Lati@s to the City.

Bertha also has a Rhyperior (in game), so that's why I thought it was Tobias. Since he has Latios, it wouldn't be surprising if he had Latias as well. Not that I agree, but where the hell is Tobias's normal Pokemon. Surely he had to have a normal Pokemon that helped capture his legendary Pokemon.... (
