Tales of Hearts to come overseas after all?

Namco Bandai has recently filled a trademark for Tales of Hearts. It's speculated to be a download for the US.

But still, a US trademark for a Tales game that didn't make it here four years ago is really surprising coming from Namco Bandai. I guess this warrants its own thread.

If it's coming at all the only I see people buying it would be via digital distribution, Bamco has trade marketed a lot of things though that haven't made it over though. That being said, I want exclusive Mystic Artes/Hi-Ougi's.

I overheard it's going to be a download title. The system it's going to be for is a different story.

Nonetheless, if it's for a Nintendo system, I can't wait.

This would mean the game would have to be turned into DSiWare, as it's just a standard DS game.

I'm not sure how long the localization would take but any DS game released after this summer I can't see people buying for full price. Let alone a 2D sprite JRPG. I think the only way they could make a decent profit would be to either make it a DSiWare game and market it something along the lines of "A brand new full adventure only on the eShop" or slap a cheap 3D effect on it sell it as a 3DS game. I'd pay $35ish for it regardless of what it comes out on but I don't think other people will.

I'm not sure they'd even go about selling it at full $35 price. I imagine they'd release it as a budget title.
