The high-flying journey begins when Pazu, a mining apprentice, finds a young girl wearing a glowing pendant and floating down from the sky. Together, they discover both are searching for the legendary floating castle, Laputa, and vow to unravel the mystery of the luminous crystal around her neck. Their quest won't be easy, however. There are air pirates, secret agents, and astounding obstacles to keep them from the truth -- and from each other.

Air time:
2:00 a.m. EST/11:00 p.m. PST

When "Porco" -- whose face has been transformed into that of a pig by a mysterious spell -- infuriates a band of sky pirates with his aerial heroics, the pirates hire Curtis, a rival pilot, to "get rid" of him. On the ground, the two pilots compete for the affections of the beautiful Gina. But it is in the air where the true battles are waged.

Air time: 4:15 a.m. EST/1:15 a.m. PST

And it doth appear that Turner Classic is showing these in Japanese with English subtitles.

I'm guessing that they're slated to air within the next few hours (blatant showing of ignorance).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing Porco Rosso as I have not seen that yet and it looks to be somewhat entertaining. I've already seen Castle in the Sky, but another go around with it might not be too bad.

... Now then, to find some damn video tape lying around here so I can record 'em...

Nice to see people watched these. XD

Porco Rosso is a personal favorite of mine. To me, it's the most mature Miyazaki film - not in graphic content, but in characters.

Admittedly the showing times were well into the early morning... BUT WHERE IS THE LOVE?!

Ah well, I'll probably edit this post later about Porco Rosso since no one else will apparently post after this one. >_>
