i would take out cosmic power on starmie and teach it surf/ice beam.

take out hyper beam and psychic(i would put more physical attacks on metagross since his attack is better than his sp. attack) and put something like
-shadow ball
-earthquake
-substitute/rest
-focus punch/sleep talk

Golden Egg

Pokémon Breeder
Metagross @ CB
Adamant
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Explosion

Well, Metagross' Spec. Attack is 95, so it's not exactly bad. Also, it'll get STAB for Psychic, so I think I'll keep it. And Hyper Beam is a Normal move, meaning it takes advantage of Metagross' high Physical Attack rather than Spec. Attack (correct me if I'm wrong). There's no real point in teaching it Sleep Talk either, because I plan to ChestoRest.

As for Starmie, I've already got Dragon types covered with Dragon Claw on Flygon, and I usually don't bother with Water moves because I can easily take care of Rock types and Fire types by using Blaziken (Sky Uppercut, Earthquake).

But thanks anyway.

I believe Meteor Mash has an accuracy of 75, which isn't good enough for me. Earthquake, I'm already teaching it to Blaziken. As for Rock Slide, I'm not a big fan of its accuracy either, and I don't plan on letting Metagross' HP get so low so that I have to resort to suicide. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Meteor Mash is Metagross strongest non-suicide move, sure, it has 85 % accurary but that it is the strongest Steel Move in th game, and Metagross gets Stab from it. It also has that 10% chance of an attack raise that can be deadly.
At the very least, take out Hyper Beam. Meteor Mash has the same power, an 85% accurary move with 10% chance of attack raise is better than a 90% accurary move with one turn drawback. Plus Hyper Beam can't SE against anything.

I'm still unsure. ChestoRest is a definite for Metagross. But I just can't use Meteor Mash. I realise it has a chance of raising Attack, but when I consider that Steel moves aren't effective against Electric, Fire, and Water types, as well as Steel, and it's inaccurate, it doesn't seem so appealing. You also put up a good point about Hyper Beam. I've never been a big fan of the recharge.

Maybe I should just go with another pokemon?

Just gonna say use adamant blaziken.

Even though it doesn't really have the best defenses, it has good resistances and it will be better to be able to switch in on a weaker attack and some stronger ones too. Plus, even with min attack its FB still OHKo's forry, skarm, and does good damage agiansts gross.

Yeah, but you could probs do either, because with lonely it loses defense, but with adamant you don't lose defense, but you do lose some power on FB because it decreases sp. atk.
So whichever one you pick, it's a sacrifice of something.

It only needs Fire Blast for stuff like skarm, forry, and maybe weezing and its not like there gonna OHKO you.

yeah, I know, unless forry or skarm knew EQ, but you would very likely pwn them before they could harm you, so yeah, prob go with adamant, but it's your choice. XD

EDIT: YEAH!!! I AM NOW NIGHTCAT!!!

But Meteor Mash hits pretty much everything else, though, and it's Super Effective against Rock and Ice Types. That's definitely good enough to consider using it. Plus, with the Attack boost, Metagross's 400+ Attack escalates to a whopping 600+(assuming it's Level 100. If not, though, the Attack raise still raises its Attack to an extraordinary level).

A Metagross without Meteor Mash isn't a Metagross, IMO.

You know you should really have brick break or sky uppercut on breloom, because it's double weak to flying, and even though fighting will inflict normal damage, breloom has awesome attack to help it so...
And I find in-game that FP fails a lot, because the opponent basically never switches, and they almost always attack. :p
So save sub and replace it with SD or leech seed or something IMO.

Spore Punching is Breloom's best option.
Also, it never fails against the AI because they never switch.

Oh, I forgot about that. :p
But I still think that BB or SU would be better because they can KO most things just as easily, and the highest lvls in the game besides the BF is 58 for the Champion, so I say FP would be too powerful and always take two turns to use. So SU or BB IMHO.
