Team Domination

Here we go. This should be a good fic...

Chapter 1: The Intruder.

Giovanni was once again sitting at his desk in his magnificent Team Rocket base in the deep and inpenitrable depths of Kanto. Now with Teams Aqua and Magma out of his way, he could begin to take over the world at his leasure. The yellowish tanned Persion lapped milk from the saucer next to his desk in an unconcerned manner. It was almost as if nothing could stand in the way of his dreams of world domination and having the rarest pokemon on earth all to himself. Nothing could stop him.

How very wrong he was...

A tall man dressed in a regal manner similar to that of a Russian czar with a grey beard and mustache burst into the main room of the Team Rocket building. Several mangy-looking boys and girls who had Magnaton floating overhead and Voltorb rollling about their ankles stood in the doorway behind him with very nasty leers and grins indeed.

"Alright, everyone," the man announced to the astonded Grunts, "I think you all know how this works; on the floor and no one gets hurt."

Butch, a green-haired executive, stepped forward, with his orange-haired partner.

"If anyone is in danger of getting hurt," Butch croaked through his harsh-sounding voice, holding out a pokeball.

Cassidy grinned, also holding out a pokeball. "It's you. Go, Houndour!"

The doberman-like pokemon was soon joined by Butch's Mightyena, a black wolf. The two cannines crouched and growled at the man, teeth exposed.

"Hydro Pump!"

"Hyper Beam!"

Houdour screamed in shock as a powerful spray of water sent it crashing into its' trainer. Mightyena crumbled after the attack. A girl with cherry-red hair with streaks of gold and a boy looking like a bizzare fireman stood on either side of the man. A Slowking stood before the girl and a Clefairy stood in front of the boy.

The man glared at Cassidy and Butch. "Fools. Hard of hearing, are we?" He looked over his shoulder at the bikers. "I think our friends here need to be taught a lesson..."

Cassidy and Butch screamed in agony as the cloud of Magnaton and see of Voltorb electrocuted them mercilessly.

"Gerneal Henson," a girl dressed in form-fitting armor with long green hair flew in on a dark-silver Skarmory and both flapped overhead. "I just recieved the go ahead from the Master to be as hostile as we like in this takeover."

Henson smirked. "I was appreciative of the man releasing me from the Mirage Kingdom dungeons, but now I am starting to like him even more. You heard her," he instructed the bikers. The bikers threw out all of their pokemon, mainly Voltorb, Magnaton, and Grimer, as well as a Vigoroth and some Spearow, and proceeded to terrorize all the Grunts.

In the labs, the Magnaton absorbed all the electricity from the computers and fired their power at the various Rocket scientists, causing them to scream in surprise and fear, resulting in them abandoning their control panels. Various dark Skarmory and Vibrava emerged from the windows and flew about in all directions, causing more terror as they began to all all in the Team Rocket uniform. Slowking used its' Psychic to float several people in the air. Clefairy sucked up several grunts in a Whirlwind.

"What's going on out there?!" Giovanni demanded, screaming into his intercom on his desk. Persian raised its' head, slightly alarmed. "Hello? Hello! Blasted idiots!" In his anger, he smashed the intercom with his fist.

Domino was pinned against the wall stuck their by static electricity from a leering Zapdos. The trainer of the thunderbird pokemon was a girl close to Donmino's own age, and her clothes were similar to the color of the bird's feathers, complete with a beaked-mask/hoody and wings attacked to the long sleeves.

The girl smirked. "Nice to meet you, Black Tulip. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Electra Surge."

A young girl with pink pigtails and a strawberry-colored dress used her Grumpig to cause several Grunts to battle one another with their own pokemon as several bikers watched amusedly.

Giovanni ran from his desk. "What in the world is going on out there?!"

"I wouldn't open up if I were you, Giovanni," a drawling voice stayed Giovanni's hand from turning the doorknob. Slowly he turned to see a man dressed in an acid-green cloak wearing a Deoxys mask sitting behind his desk. A Shiftry, more brown in color than was normal, growled threateningly at Persian.

The two Ninjask and the single Shedinja belonging to Henson blasted Cassidy and Butch again as they tried to stand up.

"It's not a pretty scene out there..." the man gave an evil, toothy grin. "Oh no, not pretty at all..."

I think you mean there and attached..

Overall this seems a bit ... bland and wtf-ish.

Oh it's a normal day in the Rocket base when SUDDENLY- and included amongst the random new evildoers, is a girl with a Zapdos. Omg batman, the reality of the anime is shot! And the manga too I'm betting! So this is game verse- oh wait it can't be as Domino was only in the anime reality. Meaning the girl really can't have Zapdos as capturing Zapdos would cause the WEATHER TO GO WONKY.

So is it like a false Zapdos? Like a ditto transformed into a Zapdos because its trainer apparently has a fetish for Zapdos? And if it was a false Zapdos, I think Domino could give anyone a run for their money with the WTFOMGBBQ Tulips of hers :/ ALSO I doubt Zapdos would allow itself to be captured by a human, or did this costume ASTOUND AND AMAZE IT? Which would kinda either be lame, or hint at bestiality >> or something. So I'm laying my money it's actually a false Zapdos.

BTW- how did Clefairy= unevolved, use Hyperbeam, which can only be used by fully EVOLVED pokemon, or dragons such as Dratini. Or nonevolvers such as Kangaskahn :/

I feel this could have been pulled off better, maybe drawn out more. Flushed out with the skirmishes, and the battle done a bit better. And maybe included the scuffle between Domino and this Zapdos fetisher, Electra Surge and her wtf!Zapdos.

The battle scene could have been drawn out more, and I spotted a few spelling mistakes, but overall, it was nice...

deep and inpenitrable depths is rather redundant

Magnaton should be Magneton

Who said these things? Did Mightyena use Hydro Pump or did Houndour? Or did some other pokemon?

Gerneal should be General. And are you referring to General Hanson, as in the one at the Mirage Kingdom? Or a differention General Henson?

its' should just its. It's is the conjuction it is. And the plural of its is their.
(see below for same thing, as well.

Two things wrong with that part:

Their should be there. Their is possessive. There is a place.
Zapdos? Zapdos is a legendary, trainers and legendaries are a big no-no.

Overall. Though the new team under General Hansen, which in the anime is Colonel Hansen, is interesting, the Team Rocket under attack is rather cliche. You have a few grammar and spelling mistakes, which you can fix by reading over your work and asking others to read over it for mistakes. It can definitely be better, and you can do this by reading the Advice for Aspiring Authors thread. Good luck, Riva.

Noland has an Articuno.
I'll explain the Zapdos later.

Noland was a what, Battle Frontier dork? :/ sorry don't like the anime that much nor the Battle Tower/Battle Tower arc. And sense they based it off the game, omg Noland must have an Articuno! We must defy logic!

BUT

To my knowledge the Articuno wasn't caught.

But there is a big difference between someone meaning well, and someone wanting to abuse a legendaries powers. And I'm sorry but Zapdos does not strike me as one of the trio that would want to be asosiated with humans :/

Chapter 2: A Not So Warm Reunion!

Giovanni leered at the man, as if he could not believe his own eyes. This had to be some sort of hoax. Some sort of joke or, dare he believe, a dream? Yes, that was it. It was a bad dream. The man sitting at his desk could not be what he appeared to be. It was impossible.

"What's wrong, Giovanni?" the man taunted as Persain huddled in the corner, completely cowed by the glowering Shiftry. "Delcatty got your tongue? It's understandable, I suppose. After all, after the last time we met, you assumed I was dead."

It suddenly became clear to Giovanni that, although the doorknob in his hand was in mid-turn, he had not opened it. He was too frightened. This was no dellusion, no matter how badly he wished it to be so. This being, this man, was very much alive. And very much a person Giovanni had never wished to see again. This was like a nightmare that had forced its' way into reality.

The two Ninjask buzzed about the building and flew into an empty room. Well, it wasn't completely empty. The Grunts, scientists, and exectutives of TR were bound with a thick rope and forced to sit upon the floor with their captures standing over them. Henson looked very pleased with himself.

There was a knock on the door. Giovanni started back, as if the door had electrocuted him, and the girl with her Slowking entered. The girl took no notice of Giovanni, but looked straight at the man.

"Sir, all members of Team Rocket in the building have been captured, and their pokemon releived from their respective persons," she reported.

"Good girl, Karen," the man smiled. "Please, bring this good gentleman and myself some tea," he gestured to Giovanni, who remained rooted to the spot.

Giovanni found himself sitting at the coffe table in his office, his tea untouched, his pet hidding under his chair, and glaring at the man who sat opposite him, sipping tea as if there were not a single sign of negative force on earth. This was insulting. Too insulting to put into words. How had this been allowed to happen to him? Him! Giovanni, leader of the alustrious Team Rocket who would one day take over the world? Giovanni would not play this stupid little game.

"How...on earth...are you still alive, Victor?" Giovanni growled, his face even more hardened and chistled than before.

The man smirked. "My, I see gaining power has bittered the little boy, hasn't it?" Victor reached up and removed his mask. He had a very handsome face, as young and joyful in appearance as Giovanni's was weather-beaten and ancient.

Giovanni started back, both terrified and angered at the other's gawl and cheek for daring to think this was some simple game. "Answer me!" he barked, throwing manners totally aside. "Why are you still alive!?"

"Ahh, what a story it is, Giovanni," Victor said with a flourish. "And it begins, and ends, with Team Rocket." He set his tea down and continue to smile that disgusting confiedent smile at him. "You know, no doubt, they call you my downfall. That I lost everything the day I had that battle with you and fell off the mountain path. But I say No, boy. True, I fell, but, I did not die. Instead, I was able to escape by usage of my own special prowess to avoid my death. I also found a small cave and hid there, thereby making it seem as though I had plummeted to my doom. And of course, many believe I was dead and that the threat of Team Domination was over, leaving the path clear open for Team Rocket..."

Domino attempted to stand, but Electra pushed her down by pressing her boot against Domino's shoulder. "Stay there," Electra hissed. "You can either do as we say willingly, or be brainwashed by Sally and her Grumpig," she nodded to the smallest girl who was hugging her porcine pokemon as if it were a teddy. "Victor heard there was an orphan who could communicate with her psychic pokemon. It seems he, too was an orphan and too pity on her."

"You're going to pay for this," Domino hissed. "I'd rather be destroyed than serve you clowns."

Electra suddenly put on a demonic, toothy smirk. "Undoubtedly you shall be in the end..."

Victor had finished his tea. "Thirty-four years," he reflected. "It was thirty-four years when I, a crime lord who even the Elite Four could just by an inch go head to head with, and you, the son of Madame Boss, posing as a new gym leader. But we both knew better, did we not, Giovanni?" Giovanni did not speak, he was too enraged at the mention of his mother. "Yesss..." Victor drawled, "It was the fear that I would conquer and take control of locating Mew that caused your mother, who was begining to become obsessed with finding Mew, to order you to battle me on New Mountain. It was not only dangerous for our pokemon, but also for ourselves. After one attack from your Rhydon during the final round, I admit, me and my Nuzleaf lost our balance and fell, but I lived on."

"How..." Givoanni began, but Victor stopped him with a raised hand.

"I had a special device on my person that instantly transfered me to my satelite, my science team was more advanced than that of Team Rocket back then. There, I knew neither you or your mother could try and destroy me if you discovered I'd surrvived. It was then, also, that I began to trace every agent who ever entered your compound." Victor simply seemed to love the look of dread on Giovanni's face at this information. "Because you had been named a 'National hero', who would have suspected the great, good, brave and decent Giovanni of being master of Team Rocket. I must admit, I couldn't beleive half of what I saw or heard. Three of your agents caught my interest most of all; Jessie, James, and Meowth. They are...comical, seems to be the kindest term, but they still had their uses. For example, had it not been for them, I never would have known the existence of Henson and been able to free him from the dungeons. Or the Invincible Pokemon Brothers, who were more than happy to join me at the prospect of power and being feared by all. Also, thanks to my trusty theives of the past, I was able to obtain a Zapdos egg from a museum and give it to the great-granddaughter of Lt. Surge...."

Giovanni stood up suddenly and smashed his tea cup on the floor, causing his Persian to scream and shoot across the room. "I've heard enough from you! I demand you leave my base at once before I truly lose my paitence with you and your men!"

"Big words for a man who hides in the shadows when he had more than half the force it would have taken to 'take over the world'!" Victor barked back, showing his own rage for the first time since appearing. This display of anger caused Giovanni to fall back in his chair. "Sniveling, scheming. You have not changed at all, boy! And that is why, as of today, Team Rocket will be under my control, not yours'."

Shiftry growled threateningly.

Giovanni looked into those evil eyes. "You're too soft", they were saying.

"W-what are you going to do?" Giovanni hated the stammer that came from him.

Victor's smile returned to him. "We're going to have a pokemon battle...The winner becomes leader of Team Rocket..."

Ok random scene skips aren't really good- unless you make sure people know it's a skipped scene/different scene. Otherwise people will think Electra is gloating in the room as she towers over Domino while .. Victor as tea with Giovanni.

IMO you are downplaying TR to make your OC villians seem 'oh so better' :/ meh it still seems flat and bland.

Chapter 3: A Mother Of Shame

The battle feild Victor set up resembled a dungeon, not unlike the Viridian Gym when Giovanni had been in control of it. It was dark, gloomy and somewhat forboding. Victor stood on one high panel while Giovanni stood on an opposite one, his Persian at his side. Cameras from all points of the arena were alive with electricity and focused on the two men.

"Why are there cameras here?" Giovanni questioned suspsciously.

Victor smirked. "All things in time. The rules of the battle are simple, we each use four pokemon each. Agreed?"

"Agreed." Giovanni replied.

"Well now, let's get this party started. Go, Omastar!" The snail-like pokemon waved its' tentacles lazily in the air. It goggled at Giovanni.

Giovanni shook his head, clearing his mind. "Go, Aggron!" A reptilian-looking pokemon clad in black armor towered over its' foe with a roar.

Victor just smirked. "Of course. I heard you specalized in rock and ground pokemon. Omastar, Hydro Pump!" Omastar sprayed a torrent of water from its' four-pincered mouth straight at its' target, hitting it right in the chest.

"Aggron, Water Pulse!" Giovanni demanded. A sphere of water surged at Omastar.

"Go underground!" Victor instructed. Omastar quickly dug an escape tunnel. "Good. Now, use Spike Cannon!" Instantly, spikes began to erupt from all around Aggron in a circle, almost as if Omastar were tunneling around in circles. There was only one way to defeat this foe.

"Aggron, use Water Pulse on the ground!" Aggron obeyed, but the floor gave way and a cloud of dust erupted. When the dust cleared, it could be seen that both pokemon were unconsious.

Victor recalled Omastar as Giovanni recalled Aggron.

It was now Giovanni's turn to send out the first pokemon. "Go, Rhydon!" It roared as the light cleared.

"Nice choice," Victor nodded before releasing his own pokemon. A Raichu.

Giovanni smirked openly. Clearly Victor was going senile. How could an electric pokemon harm one that was part ground type? "Rhydon, Tackle attack!"

Now it was Victor's turn to smirk, only it was much more toothily. "Raichu, Iron Tail." Swinging its' tail like a chain as the thunderbolt tip glowed white, Raichu leapt at the oncoming behemoth and struck it twice across the lowerjaw, causing it to stumble back in a growl of pain.

"But...What was that?!" Giovanni was in shock.

Victor smiled. "You've been in the shadows too long, boy. If you got out more, you'd realize pokemon such as Raichu can learn Iron Tail, an attack that does great damage to pokemon like your Rhydon. Raichu, use Iron Tail again!" And again, Raichu gave Rhydon the one-two strike. Then a three-four and five-six, only being caught and sent sprawling a little by a punch from Rhydon.

"You're not bad," Victor admitted. "Better than when we last battled. But still, you're no match for me. Raichu, Iron Tail once more!" The final assault caused Rhydon to sink to its' knees and fall forward.

Giovanni recalled Rhydon. How? How is this happening? He's making taking me out look almost effortless. "Don't think just because you won that round means that you'll win this battle," Giovanni barked. "Team Rocket's mine!" He released Beedrill, which buzzed high above the floor.

Victor's smile became far more sadistic than ever. "Really now? But I assumed you only became leader after the passing of your mommy." He could tell that struck a nerve in Giovanni, who looked too insensed to speak. Victor held a new pokeball in his hand after recalling Raichu. "Silvermane, the girl with all those Skarmory, she claims to be one of the few who recognize Skarmory as the 'Lost Legendary Bird' and knows many stories concerning pokemon. Maybe you're familiar with this one..." Victor released a Marrowak.

"Centuries ago," Victor narrated, "there was a mother Marrowak who possesed three lovely and powerful children. The children were determined to show their mother how strong they were by going to fight in a war, but died almost instantly during the first charge. Their mother, unable to accept their deaths, died from sorrow herself."

Giovanni glared. "Beedrill, Pin Missle!"

"Marrowak, Flamethrower," Victor stated calmly.

The sudden barrage of flames canceled out the attack from the dog-sized insect.

"Tell me, Giovanni," Victor taunted. "Do you wish you had a mother like those Cubone? A mother who actually cared for her babies?"

"Beedrill, Poison Sting!" Giovanni did not answer him, but his knuckles were going very white.

Marrowak used its' boneclub to deflect the barrage of needles and launced another Flamethrower, striking Beedrill hard in the throax.

Victor smirked more. "Or perhaps, you were happier with that Mew-obsessed mother of yours'. The woman who spent more time chasing after the legendary kitten than actually running Team Rocket, or even caring for her only child..."

"Quick Attack!" Beedrill moved too quick to be seen my the human eye and grazed Marrowak's knee. For which it earned a hard clubbing on the top of its' head.

"Skull Bash," Victor sighed. Marrowak surged from the floor and struck Beedrill hard in the chest. Beedrill fell hard to the floor and twitched. "What's wrong?" he called to Giovanni. "Is there not even a single happy memory of her you can recall?"

Giovanni was so enraged, his hand shook as he recalled Beedrill. All the while, his mother's voice echoed in his mind. "Brat" she use to call him. "Whelp." "Simple child". "You'll never be as strong as me. Team Rocket will never be yours'. It would be utterly destroyed."

"THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" Giovanni bellowed, and in his rage, grabbed Persian from the scruff of its' neck, and threw it on to the battle field.

"Marrowak," Victor called suddenly. "Use Bone Rush and Bone Club!" And from there, it was too late for the cat to do anything.

Giovanni was still in a temper. "My mother was a fool! An old and arrogant woman who knew nothing of power! I'm the one who made Team Rocket what it is today, and I will continue, with none of those fools who worship me knowing it!"

Victor began to laugh madly. "Fool! Remember those cameras? Well, my workers had them hack into every tv signal in Kanto and Johto and this was live, meaning by now, not even you can deny your ties to Team Rocket."

Now it hit Giovanni fully. He was ruined. After being so careful, he had allowed a simple mindgame to reveal himself for what he truly was.

"But you've lost much more than your 'team' and title as 'hero of the people'," Victor went on. "You've lost your pokemon, your money, rights to all projects that were being performed, and..." his smile became extremely malicious, "...Your freedom..."

Suddenly two hands grabbed Giovanni's arms above the elbow as two bikers kept him from running away.

"Take him away," Victor instructed. He savored the yells or anger and protest from Giovanni. It did not matter that he exposed himself. The past would repeat itself. He would become ruler of the entire world.

Chapter 4: Incredible Trouble For The World

Two miles away, Team Rocket had once again "succeeded" in capturing Pikachu with another "Anti-Pikachu Capturing Device", in other words, an electricity proof net which hung from their Meowth Head Balloon. Beneath them ran Ash, Brock, May and Max, in hot pursuit to catch up to their foes with mounting anger.

"Give me back my Pikachu!" Ash yelled at them.

"You keep saying that, and we keep saying 'No'," Jessie called back with an evil smirk.

"After all," Meowth mused, "What kinds a evil people would we be if we gave back everything we steal?"

Stopping suddenly, in a real temper, Ash threw a pokeball, releasing his Swellow. "Pop that balloon!" Ash cried out.

Swellow surged towards the balloon, but suddenly a Skarmory tackled it in midair, causing it to fall back. Both sides gasped in amazement as even more Skarmory, as well as a girl riding on the back of one, surrounded the balloon with a swarm of Vibrava. The flying pokemon seemed to be leering at Ash and his friends.

James cowered slightly. "Eee...These pokemon look scary. Do you think they're friendly?"

"They're...probably just passing through..." Jessie assured him in an uncomfortable tone.

"Wobbuffet!" her blue pokemon squealed, a bead of sweat running down the side of his head.

Silvermane completely ignored the trio behind her, either because she had other things to attend to or maybe that she thought of them as being of no real interest. She kept her eyes of Ash. "So, I assume you're Ash Ketchum?" Silvermane smirked down at him.

"Uuuhh...yes?" Ash was quite unsure what this girl wanted with him.

Her eyes traveled over Brock, Max and May. "You two are the children of that man Norman. And you use to be leader of the Pewter City Gym. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."

"Uumm...Thank you?" May seemed just as confused as Ash.

"The pleasure's all mine," Brock returned, blushing slightly.

Max's eyeglasses flashed. "Down, boy."

Jessie began to growl. Just what was this all about? Who did this girl think she was? It made her angry, especially as this girl was speaking to the brats with something like respect. What was there to respect about goody-goody little twerps who kept getting in the way of an evil beauty?

"HEY, YOU!" Jessie screamed in annoyance. "Just what's the big idea?!"

Silvermane finally looked at Jessie with a smirk. "Our master would like to meet these four and congratulate you for tailing them for so long."

Jessie, James and Meowth blinked, then beamed openly.

"Did you hear that?!" Meowth cheered.

"I sure did!" James replied. "Finally the Boss is showing us the respect we deserve!"

"Better late than never!" Jessie laughed.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet saluted.

"Mime Jr.!" The small, clownlike pokemon appeared on James's shoulder, striking the same pose as Wobbuffet.

"Recognition! Promotions! Big money!" Team Rocket did their usual cheer of self-preperation as they always did.

A bead of sweat ran down the side of Max's face. "They just keep getting more and more lame..."

"You're not going anywhere!" Ash barked at Silvermane. "Swellow!" He cried out in shock as two Skarmory took firm hold on Swellow, rendering it helpless and forcing Ash to recall it.

Suddenly the Skarmory were among the quartet and clamping down on their shoulders and lifting them up into the air to level with Silvermane so they were all at eye-level with her. It was truly scary, being that high in the air, and by seemingly hostile pokemon, at that. May squealed, Max gasped, Brock cried out and Ash gaped in shock.

"The master would like to see all of you as well," Silvermane explained. She then turned to the balloon. "Well, get going. We're all waiting for you at the TR base." Smiling at the thought of reward, Jessie nodded and the balloon once again made its' way forward with Silvermane, her flock, and their captive passengers bringing up the rear.

Within five hours, the Team Rocket base came into view, as well as the frightening swarm of Vibrava, flock of Skarmory, and gaggle of Gengar surrounding the building from the tallest tower up. On ground level, several mean-looking Exploud glared about in several directions with ugly looks on their faces. Cacturne stood as still as boards on the various roofs of the base, looking very horrifying. But all of these pokemon were nothing compared to Shiftry as it stood on the tallest tower. Ash and the others were almost as amazed by this sight as Team Rocket were.

"W-w-where do you think dey all came from?" Meowth stammered, attempting to hide.

A dome in the center of the base opened, allowing the balloon and flock to come in for a landing. Once on their feet again, Ash ran at Jessie, who still held the net which contained Pikachu. Before a real fight could begin, one of the Skarmory slashed the net, causing Pikachu to fall and leap into Ash's arms.

"Pikachu!" Ash cried in joy, then glared at Team Rocket and Silvermane.

Jessie rounded on Silvermane. "What the?! Who's side are you on?"

"Traitor!" Meowth raged, extending his claws.

"What kind of Team Rocket member are you?" James demanded.

The sound of boots caused any further argument to die. Henson stood with both his Ninjask buzzing on either side of him, his Shedinja seemingly propped on his Russian-style hat, in much the same manner as when both sides had first encountered him.

"General Henson!" May shrieked in fear.

Brock and Ash, as well as Jessie, James and Meowth, tensed up and glowered hatefully at the man. He had once kidnapped Misty's Togepi in order to claim rulership of the Mirage Kingdom. Henson had also betrayed Team Rocket during their brief time under his employment.

"We won't have any fighting in the hanger," Silvermane grasped Brock by his arm. "The 'Boss' wants to see you all, now! Move." With the army of Skarmory looking grimly at them from all sides, no one really felt like arguing.

Traveling down the hall, Ash was able to identify Cassidy and Butch who stood as guards and Domino, the double-crossing girl who he had met once before. He noticed plainly that she had a deadened look in her eyes as she machanically scrubbed the left wall with a rag and another tied to the top of her head, hiding her lovely blonde hair. This seemed rather out of place, in Ash's opinion. The last time he had seen her, she had seemed closer to the head of Team Rocket more than any other of the agents.

The man sitting at the desk in the office was not Giovanni.

"W-wha..." Jessis stammered and blinked repeatedly at Victor. "Just...just who the heck are you?!" She exploded.

"That isn't the guy I saw last time," Ash admitted.

Victor smiled openly. "Oh yes. I forgot. It was before your time. Allow me to introduce myself; I am Victor the Vanquisher and new master of this building."

That made Meowth squeak in shock and Jessie gap in confusion.

"Wait, you mean you're an excecutive to the Boss, right?" James questioned.

"No," Victor stood up from his desk. "I'm afraid I'm not. I took this place by force and have never been a member of Team Rocket. And as for that, I have changed the name. It is now called Team Domination!"

"Team..." Max blinked.

May quivered and held her hands to her mouth. "...Domination?"

"I think I've heard of them before," Brock mused.

Victor grinned and walked forward. "Yes. Unlike Team Rocket, I understand pokemon are not mere weapons and that the bond between pokemon and trainer is a sacred and powerful bond. In that respect, we four, " he addressed Ash, Brock, Max and May "Are very much alike."

"Well, that's very noble of you," Brock admitted.

"Yes," Victor nodded. "And with such powerful trainers like yourselves, the world will certainly see us as forces to be reckoned with..."

Chapter 5:preperation and Denail

It took a while for what Victor said to sink in. "Excuse me?" Ash questioned. Everyone in the room, with the exception of Silvermane and Victor, seemed utterly aghast by this statement.

"You see," Victor explained, "strong trainers like the Elite Four, Juan, and Norman are heroworshipped by countless people. Some would even go so far as to treat them as gods. It is the fate of powerful trainers to be given such treatment and to set store by it with displays of power. With power, comes order. It will be a new era under my rule with trainers like you by my side, Ash." He set a fatherly hand on Ash's shoulder and smiled a sweet smile that nonetheless hid something much darker behind it.

"You're wrong!" Max burst out suddenly. "My dad never asked to be treated like a god, and I'm certain he wouldn't want anything to do with you!"

Victor gave a humorless laugh. "Really? Then why has he never attempted to stop those fools who gang up on anyone who feel aren't worthy to challenge your father? Even your own sister enjoyed being worshipped simply because she is Norman's daughter and refused to recognize a fluke of a win. You see," he smirked at their nervous faces, "I also found myself fasinated with Ash and his friends..."

"Really?" Ash stepped away from the hand. "And why's that?"

"Well," Victor addressed him, "for one, I find it fasinating that a seemingly normal boy such as yourself can defeat Team Rocket and much more powerful and dangerous people time and time again as well as, what would you call it? 'Save the world'? Yes, after I saw your first twenty-four victories over Jessie and James, I realized that, while they were excecutives, you often beat them as if they were nothing..."

"Should we be insulted by that?" James whispered to Jessie.

Victor chose to ignore him, but kept his hungry eyes on Ash. "Right there and then, I decided to track you as well. I witnessed various battles you participated in and found myself amazed upon witnessing even the strongest pokemon belonging to the strongest Gym Leaders being brought to their knees. Only the Elite Four were able to continue standing during battles with you."

"I don't mean to be rude," Ash interupted, "but what's the point you're trying to make?"

It seemed that Victor didn't mind any rudeness one bit. " 'The point', dear boy, is that I want you by my side as I claim what trainers such as you and I are owed; a place of power in this world above all others."

Ash stepped back from his hand with a serious and stern look on his face. Behind him, he could hear May and Max breath in nervous tension. "Sorry, but no. You say you don't see pokemon as weapons, but you see trainers like yourself who deserved to be gods. That's just not right." He glared at Victor with pure anger. "I'd never join someone like you!"

A man such as Giovanni would have burst into a fit of rage, but Victor simply shrugged and removed a pokeball from his belt.

"S-sir!" Silvermane cried out in shock. "You're not going to battle right here, are you?!" The room was fairly big, but still, it seemed a little extreme.

"Relax, Silvermane," Victor assured her. "Whether I like it or not, this young man is a 'force for all that is good and pure', and I'd be lying if I said I didn't find that a good quality in a rival. If Ash nor any of these three here join me, then they are my opponents. He will be allowed to defend his pride in battle...Go..."

Suddenly a gigantic crash came from above and a Dragonite burst in through the ceiling, with a young-looking man with firey red hair on its' back. Silvermane, Jessie, James and Meowth shielded themselves as Brock, May and Max huddled together to avoid injury. Victor had not shrunk back or cried out in alarm. He had leapt backwards with an inhuman prowess. Ash had run backwards as well. But he recognized the man.

"Lance!" Ash exclaimed.

"Huh?" May looked up once it was safe to do so.

"It is!" Max cheered.

Lance fixed Ash and his friends with a stern look. "Come with me, now!" They didn't need telling twice. Brock, the two siblings, and Ash quickly climbed aboard his Dragonite and the large reptilian sped out the same way it had entered.

"Should we go after them?" Silvermane looked to her leader for instructions.

Victor shook his head. "No. If I know Henry like I think I do, he'll try to cover this all up and turn a blind eye to our obvious prescence. Besides, I don't need to chase Ash. With luck and due to his love of justice, he'll come after me again..."

In the air, Lance informed Ash and his friends of what had been happening. How Victor had broadcasted his battle with Giovanni revealing them both three hours ago, random bikers and people with violet capes and silver suits patrolling streets of certain cities with Cacturne and Gengar. And also the story of Victor. He had once been a student of each member to the Elite Four, so he was almost as powerful and knew what each of them was capable of. Victor hadn't been satisfied with being a student and had sought out others who felt as he did, that powerful trainers who be treated as powerful gods. After many had seen his first battle with Giovanni, they also believed him dead.

"But if that's true," May inquired, "won't Officer Jenny and other police arresst these people?"

"If only it were that easy," Lance sighed heavily. "An hour after Victor revealed himself to still be alive, we contacted Henry, who is in charge of all security for the pokemon world. But, having been attacked by Victor himself and seeing his supposed death in the past, he refused to believe Victor came back. To him, the idea of Victor being alive is a total nightmare and refused to listen to us."

"Then how is anyone supposed to stop Victor?" Max worried.

Lance allowed himself a small smile. "It isn't just me who are wise to the fact Victor really is back. Agatha, Drake, Noland and a few others are waiting for me back at the base. I was sent to spy on Victor, but when I saw you, I knew I'd have to help you, again."

"We really appreciate the help," Brock voiced.

Up ahead, a castle in the side of a mountain could be made out through some light fog. It looked blackened and old from unuse. Almost no one would go in such a dirty-looking place.

Meanwhile, on the very border of Kanto and Johto stood a building very similar in look to a high security prision. Deep inside that building was a room almost as nice and so clean it was unnatural with a desk before a large mirror. Sitting at the desk was a young woman with olive hair dressed in a white coat with yellow stripes. This was Maria Sarisa, head of the International Peacekeepers. They had been given a charge by Henry; to try and squash the rumors spread by the Elite Four that Victor was back, and make arrests, if need be.

Tell me if it's good.
Totally awesome! And, once again, worthy of becoming a real episode! ^-^

The Olive Kitsune
Chapter 6: The Safe House

"I just thought of something," Max said as they neared the castle on Lance's Dragonite. "Victor said he's been tracking us, so can't he send his agents here?"

"Possibly he could," Lance agreed. "But Victor isn't stupid. If his forces tried to attack the Safe House, they'd find an arena-amount of trainers in there. We know Victor, see; what he wants most is powerful trainers by his side, so after he was revealed to have been faking his death, we gathered all the powerful trainers we could find and brought them here."

The draw bridge opened and closed quickly once Dragonite entered. Once inside the "outer wall", the safe house seemed similar to the inside of a regular cave. It was cold and a little clamy. May seemed just as meek as always, clinging to her brother's back with wide eyes and whimpering slightly. At the far end was a white curtain, which opened up as Dragonite neared it. And there, on what seemed to be the bottom of the cave floor, was a very large dome, well hidden, as it was almost as dark in color as the cave itself. Dragonite made a soft landing, next to a girl in a yellow jacket and red hair.

"Hey, Ash," she smiled sweetly.

Ash blinked. "Misty? What are you doing here?"

Misty put on a sour face. "Those Invincible Pokemon Brothers and a bunch of other creeps attacked my sisters' gym. We got ourselves and our pokemon out just in time. Hey, Brock, Max, May," she addressed the other two.

"Hey," Brock high-fived her.

"Nice to see you again," May said cheerily.

"Yeah," Max nodded.

"Ash!" Suddenly and out of nowhere, a girl with orange ponytails rushed up and embraced Ash softly, a small flush of pleasure on her face. Misty beamed daggers at her.

Ash blushed badly. "M-Macey?!"

The Fire pokemon trainer nodded. "You were a smart guy," she gushed. "I had just arrived at the Viridian City Gym when all at once this guy," she turned her attention to Lance, "told Agatha that someone bad had 'returned', and I was brought here. Uh, who's that?" Macey narrowed her eyes when she realized May was there. She had always seemed possessive of Ash for some reason.

"We can reminise later," said Lance, who had most wisely decided to stay out of Ash's girl problem. "Let's get inside."

Inside was, what could best be described, a wave of trainers in different rooms with various tables or in the hall. There was also a set of stairs, indicating a second or more floors. Among random faces, Ash and his friends could make out one or two familair people.

"Hey, I think that's Harrison over there," Ash voiced.

"Really?!" Max looked as if seeing one of the great competitors of the Silver Conference was like a great treat.

"Oh my gosh, Kelly's right over there," May waved to her friend, who waved back.

"Is that Morrison?" Brock squinted more than usual.

A young man who looked rather down on his luck and dressed in ashy-grey with a Grimer by his side slumped against a wall close to an open doorway. His ratty tophat was pulled down over his face, and it could be assumed he was sleeping.

Brock ducked down when the face of Kid could be seen.

"Attention, attention, attention!" a familiar voice called out. It was coming from what seemed to be the largest room at the end of the hall, and inside on a platform stood Tucker with Noland and Spencer. As always, Tucker gave off that aura of being a best-loved performer. "May I have your attention, please? I and my associates would like to once again state that, while the outside world may be denying the situation we know to be true, this is one of the safest places to be."

Lance reddened a little with embarassment. "Come on, I know you too well by now to think you'll stay out of things," he motioned to Ash and the others. They followed him down a flight of stairs that seemed to have been designed by the Cinnabar Gym Leader Blaine. At the bottom was a black door. Inside sat several familar faces. Prominant among them were Lucy, Greta, Brandon, Drake, Annabel, Agatha, Steven Stone, and a girl who looked Hawaiian.

"Oh, Lance. You didn't," the unamed girl began to object.

Greta waved her hand airily. "Calm down, Lola. I would have been disappointed if this hadn't happened. As a matter of fact, it's a nice surprise."

"Believe me," Steven commented as he looked at Max, "after the adventure my father had with Max here, I might have thought, if I did meet Ash and his friends again, they'd find a way to get in on the meeting."

"In other words..." Agatha sighed heavily.

"That like it or not, they feel the need to meddle," Brandon smirked. "In that respect, Ash and his pals remind me a little of you, Annie," he playfully nudged Annabell, who nodded and smiled shyly at Ash.

Lucy obviously did her best to avoid Brock's eyes.

Lola still looked disapproving. "But still..."

"Drop it," Drake advised her sternly, before looking over at Ash. "Nice ta see ya again, kid."

"Thanks," Ash smiled.

Max could no longer contain his excitement. "Oh, WOW! I can't believe I'm actually in the same building as the Frontier Brains and Elite Four!"

Greta seemed to giggle a little, seemingly at Max's own enthusiasm. Agatha and Annabell smiled.

"You flatter us, Max," Juan assured him elegantly.

"Aww. 'Out of the mouth of babes', as they say." The group turned around to see Tucker, Spenser, Noland, the Grimer trainer, and a boy in a red hoody had also descended the stairs. "Agatha, may we procure young Maxwell here with the finest room?"

She sighed, a bead of sweat sliding down her head. "Well, now that we're all here, let's begin the meeting."

"Wait!" Lola shot a finger and hawk-eyed look at Macey, who was still on Ash's arm. "I'll allow Misty, the other girl and these boys to join us. But this girl, she doesn't have any right to be here."

Macey glared back at Lola, then looked up fondly at Ash, as if asking him if she really had to leave.

"M-maybe it's best if you do go," a bead of sweat ran down Ash's face and he wore a nervous smile. Macey looked at him sourly, but released him and exited the room. Ash felt, with Misty in here, feeling she hadn't lost that murderous look in her eyes, had dodged a much more dangerous threat than Victor could ever pose.
