Team Plans in General

I'm going to challenge myself and go for...

Flying-Type(Haven't made up my mind yet.)
And perhaps a Stantler.

First, I'll reset until I have good natured;152;;155;;158;
Then I'll trade over ;172; and eventually ;248; (too strong for beginning)
Catch a ;092; and evolve it into a ;094; from Sprout Tower.
Then catch;250;;249;
;249; Will be a permanent party member (LOVE it) replacing ;158; probably.
And hopefully ;151; and ;251; someday.

My final team I haven't planned out yet. I'm waiting until more information comes out before planning. Mostly what I do in any game is catch as many pokemon as I can (D/P/Pt I caught Budew, Starly & Shinx). Probably Pidgey & Caterpie at the start.

Don't think I'll stick with a team of six this time around, might do what I did in my last crystal game, and just catch and train a whole bunch of pokemon as I fancy. I have EV's and natures to fret over now, but I get a whole gang with personality! Y'know... in my head.

Main problem is some of the weaker contenders (like poor Ditto) fell behind...

Fingers crossed that Phanphy and Teddiursa are still hanging around the start of the game... And Vulpix is around. So far a version with Vulpix readily avaliable has eluded me...

Starter'll be a tough choice though, I'll admit... Woo! Listen to me ramble. First post. Go me.

Odd. Noctowl seems to be a common choice but I found that Pidgeot worked much better.

It's been so long since we've had a Johto game, everyone just wants a full Johto Native Team, and technically Noctowl is the "Region Bird" Though I'm going with Skarmory myself

All the 2nd gens have had such dramatic changes to their movepools since GSC, it's great. Noctowl for example can learn Sky Attack via relearner as soon as it's evolved.

I can't make up my mind on what I want in my team besides Typhlosion and probably Ampharos. There's so much more variety in these games compared to DP.
