I already planned out MY team before it was even confirmed that it was GS remakes being made.
Typhlosion (almost every time I played through GSC, I picked Cyndaquil. This will be no exception)
Qwilfish (Because it's awesome)
Victreebel (Because it's awesome)
Dunsparce (Because it's awesome)
Togetic/Togekiss (Noctowl and Crobat are too obvious, and you get the Togepi egg anyway...)

I'm only using Ampharos because it's available from the beginning, and I really need at least two Pokemon for most of the game. The others are catchable just near the end.
I would normally pick Ursaring over Ampharos, but, like I said, can't get him in the beginning.
