Im personally going to go with the first team i ever had when playing gold version.

Typholsion (probably one of my most favorite starters)
Ampharos (my favorite pokemon and always got me out of jams)
Jynx (cause i definitely remember catching one)
Golem (but training a geodude to know rock throw was a pain)
The Red Gyrados (cause its the only colored pokemon you could get easily)
and Pigeot (cause Pigeot is epic)

but when i beat Red, i hope to have my favorites in my team like Flygon

I spent a good hour at work pondering what pokemon to have on my team, i made a list of Pokemon,natures and nicknames because i'm that sad ^^.
