Team Rocket's Next Pokemon - Catch/Leave

I know that Torkoal Greg has made a thread for what pokemon each character will catch next, but I though that it would be a good idea to have a thread just for Team Rocket speculation on pokemon being caught and being released. So I hope that this thread is not closed, but you never can tell.

Anyway I thought I start thinks off so, I think that James will catch a Masquerain and a Swalot (maybe a Gulpin which will evolve quickly into a Swalot)while Jessie trades Wobbuffet for Zangoose. Also Cacnea will evolve into Cacturne after James catches a Masquerain.

I doubt jessie will ever trade wobuffet. adn its a very populer pokemon in japan.

I think Musashi will give up her Wobbufett, I don't want it to. But look, its a Johto pokemon, unevens pokemon for Kojiro, and it doesn't battle. I think Kojiro will get that living stomach called Gulpin -_-;

Wobbuffet may be a Jouto Pokemon, but it's something of a mascot like Meowth and Pikachu, so it's not going anywhere soon.

I thought about that, I also thought Togepi would never leave. But it did...

I hope Wobbufett leaves, I dont like it. And even though I really dissaprove, I seriously think James will catch a Gulpin. I hate Gulpin but I think it is time for James to catch a new pokemon.

It's not an insult, you shouldn't take it as one.


There's no reason for wobbufet to leave, Togepi left because Misty left. Obviously a Pokemon has to go with it's trainer, even though she came back in AG.

There's virtually no reason for anyone to release a Poke anymore, Ash and co. or TR. Unless of course the writers go nuts and release pokes for no reason.

Somthing might come up, breeding (Butterfree), as a gift (Onix), and lots more reasons that can come up.

I think that wobbuffet has had it's run and is getting a little old... it's time for it to go and a new source of comic relief to be introduced.

I think either Jesse or James will catch a Kecleon (most likely James though). Perfect Pokemon to sneak up on a twerp with. And maybe one of them might catch a Duskull. It seems like a Pokemon they would catch.

I also believe that wobbufett will leave, even though he's one of my favorite Pokemon.

I would love to see James get a Whismur that won't shut up. Also if he gets a Duskull, a very reluclant and nervous one.

I said that in my post before... If Wobbufett leaves. Musashi will have 2, and Kojiro 1. If Kojiro caputres a Gulpin, it would be even...

Hey, why everybody says, that Wobbuffet will leave TR? I think, its a
great funny pokemon, and he should stay with Jessie.
I sure, James will catch Gulpin. James will have 2 pokemon and Jessie-3.

what is it with Wobbuffet and leaving because it is a johto pokemon? Pikachu is a Kanto pokemon,and it is still there,and don't say that that's because it is a popular pokemon,because Wobbuffet is that too.

And Cybercubed,Togepi didn't left because Misty left. It left because it had to protect the other Togepi's. That had nothing to do with Misty's goodbye..

I haven't seen a problem with TR's line-up, except for the fact that Dustox doesn't get any air-time at all.

Why is everyone so quick to have James catch a new Pokemon? It looks like he's very happy with having just Cacnea...

I think James will catch another Pokemon. One is not enough. I can see Wowo leaving. It wasnt an immediate fixture like Pikachu and Meowth. I look foward to seeing what their next Pokemon might be... i couldnt even begin to guess what it might be though.

The reason why Pikachu is still there is because it is a main character and is really Ash's only powerful pokemon. Wobbuffet is a pointless pokemon that nowadays does nothing but pop out of it's pokeball at the end of Team Rocket's motto. Yes it does make an appearance in almost every episode but when was the last time that it actually did anything important or even battle. It is quite a powerful pokemon but come on, really if Jessie was going to keep it she would at least use it once very few episodes. I think it is only a matter of time before we say "Bye Bye" to Wobbuffet and "Hello" to a new pokemon.
