Team Rocket's Pokemon

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up yet.

From what we can make of the gap between BW022-BW025 (or from what I can make of the discussion), Giovanni has gone M.I.A., and Team Rocket's secretary has stated that TR is free to do whatever they please, as Team Rocket is currently down. While this is a big deal in the scheme of Team Rocket, I'm starting to wonder what's happening with their reserves (Carnivine, Wobbufett, Yanmega, among the others). Are they just going to sit in Team Rocket's base while it's unoccupied, or are Jessie and James even going to make a claim on them? It seems like they should if their good trainers, although they're not really a part of the Unova Saga.

So what do you make of the Team Rocket break-up in terms of the Pokemon getting lost in the writing void?

It was probably to write them out of the show.... I mean, explaining that those Pokemon cant be used in Unova because it would draw attention, is a good reason to write those Pokemon off the show instead of having them vanish.... With Cacnea mastering Drain Punch, did James get it back? Nope. We probably wont see them ever again.

Well to be truthful im not sure if they are completely written off the show because think there has been a reference to chimecho in sinnoh they refer the more popular ones again just look where we are now there has been no mention but we are aware they are here and are where that they are somewhere we still see that in some of team rockets efforts now in Unova especially with this knew of there pokemon still in HQ i believe they will return but later on they can also be used for plot for all we know

Giovanni is not missing, Team Rocket has not disbanded.

The trio have been released from their duties to Giovanni that saw them be sent to Unova.

Personally, I do not think we will be seeing Jessie and James' other Pokemon until around about League time (seeing as that's usually when Ash's reserves get a mention, so it would only make sense for theirs to get mentioned too). I would quite like it if they used their reserves again - I actually kinda miss them.

We'll see their other Pokemon again, they didn't realease their latest ones, just like James never actually gave Cacnea away, Gardenia's probably still teaching it more moves, and Chimecho was just being sick, I'm sure it's fever or whatever didn't last for like 5 years.

But the recent ones at the headquarters. Basically they were sent their so that nobody (TP) notices that they have old Pokemon, so that they don't stand out, TP has seen them now, so I wouldn't mind seeing them returning, I know the whole old Pokemon aren't wild in Unova, but TR got meowth in Kanto, the same place where Ash got Pikachu, so It is possible that their old Pokemon could return latter on, but I have a feeling it wont happen.

Plus their Pokemon right now are pretty awesome, they each have one Pokemon, one that can fly and one that levitates, I'd rather they bring their Pokemon from Sinnoh, along with their new ones, instead of catching more.

But that's just me.

It'd be great if when Giovanni reappears, he is actually putting their old Pokemon to good use. Seviper and Yanmega were always pretty strong, so if he has access to that kind of power, then why not use it?

Carnivine is used to being left alone for years anyway, but poor little Mime Jr. is probably crying itself to sleep because it's caring Daddy isn't around... Wobbuffet? Maybe if it was trained a bit, Giovanni could see it as a valuable Pokemon and bring out it's potential.

Unlikely? Yes.. But I like just really like the thought of him turning up with Persian at his side but then whipping out Seviper to battle instead, a big surprise for everyone

It's been cleared up that they haven't actually disbanded and Giovanni isn't missing.

But as for their previous Pokemon, I doubt they will be seen till a possibly post league. The writers seem to want to just have 5th generation Pokemon in Best Wishes(Besides Pikachu and Meowth for obvious reasons, and the rare moment of mentioning a past Pokemon(Fossil Pokemon) and seeing a picture of it(Umbreon)).

after the UL I would like to see them join there teams again but for now I would love to see Jessie and James get two more pokemon from Unova and I hope they get pokemon of a type they have never had

The writers just needed an excuse to remove the poke'mon from the older generation. I am not particularly surprised they came up with this.

-Reshiram/Zekrom at the end (temporary if ash doesn't get one)

-Whirlipede (I cannot see Jessie with an 8 foot scolipede anywhere, whirlipede will do)
-Gothielle/Mandibuzz (Both kinda suit her but can only have one)

James
-Cofagrigus
-Garbador (The New Weezing)
-Accelgor (May be wishful thinking on my part but it seems like a tr pokemon so either jessie or james could have this one)

Meowth Could Learn a new move. Or maybe not.

I think in short, that in the two episodes, there was a double agent from team plasma on team rocket (maybe N), fought Giovanni and wrecked Gio's plans. In rage, team rocket take the fight to plasma in the streets. Rocket surives the airborne liepards with hyper beam and defeat Team Plasma. Giovanni continues his plan but is stopped by ash and co. and team plasma N. Giovanni battles Ash/N while the team rocket trio abandon Giovanni when they see the police (and say hi to looker). Giovanni corrupts the land and dissapears in the dust of moving land and pikachu battles a lot of plasma and rocket pokemon where it is eventually trapped and looses a lot of electricity. This is my idea

I doubt we'll see their old Pokemon anytime soon if at all

For this series we have to learn it's all about new beginings. The Trio now have 2 new promotable Pokemon on the team and will likely get a couple more. There is no need for returns besides nostalgia

I just Love that James caught a Yamask! Ever since i saw Cofagrigus's back in one of the first trailers, i'd hoped for a main character to catch it.
I think that Jessie and James will get three Pkmn each.

i know this might not belong here but i'm thinking team rocket could be being followed by a zoura that keeps on take meowths form kind of like jigglypuff but the just keep tell it to go away i could see them talking to giovanni when it walks in the shout at it then giovanni say that its a rare pokemon they capture it and give it to giovanni could see him havin a zourark

It'd be a cool excuse to bring the old ones back, like Wob, but to be honest it has to be about showcasing the new Pokemon at this point - and Carnivine et al don't bring anything to the table in that department.
