    "Team Rocket's Shocking Recruit!"

Darn, I didn't like Iris in this episode at all! Geez, Oshawott(punched by Pignite for stealing food lol), Pignite and Scraggy are the ones who started the mess, causing Emolga to attack them.....yet Iris blaimed only Emolga for the trouble. Iris dismissing Emolga running off like that made me dislike her even more. Jeez, What's up with Iris's favorism for Axew? It really annoyes me see that Pokémon crying and getting lost over and over. It clearly shows that Axew isn't as good as Clair was making it out be in "A Pokémon of a Different Colour!".

It was kinda funny when Emolga winked hearts and attaracted Woobat, it good to know what Woobat's gender is. I liked how Emolga 'used' Team Rocket to get revenge at Iris, she kinda deserved it for blaiming her like that. Also, it's nice her interactions with Snivy after a long time. As for Team Rocket, they were annoying as always.....but I liked the XYZ reference they used. xD

Overall, it's an okay episode. Not good, but not bad too.

The best thing about this episode was the facial expressions. It was nice to get Iris development with her ability to speak with dragons, but it's way too late in the saga for anything meaningful.

  4. Nice touch having everyone in Emolgas imagination talking like her when explaining her plan. :)
So THAT'S where Woobat's eyes are.

Not one of the best episodes, but I did have a few parts I liked: Meowth refusing to translate Snivy and Emolga's argument (adult joke? LOL) and Emolga imagining itself saving with the day with everyone just saying "Emo emo emo". :D LOL Her taking part in the motto was cute too. I did love Team Rocket, as always, but Iris was a little quick to judge for my taste. I could feel for Emolga being so upset.

Iris's Emolga joining the TRio was such a tease really. I wish she had joined them permanently and not just for 1 measly episode. 5/10

    'Underestimate Team Rocket? Bad twerps...'

Brilliant quote (after 'Emo' of course). One of the best things BW did was have final point episodes where Team Rocket seemed justified being around. In all other regions they had fallen so badly behind Ash's lot they look pointless fighting them, especially with the bigger arcs taking place, while in BW they still have some decent technology and schemes and some degree of relevancy (though perhaps because they started off super competent and feared by the heroes that region so when they decayed it was only to bumbling but still half way threatening). Stuff like this would have strictly been a first or second season episode in other regions.

It also looks like they finally solved that whole 'only durable against electricity but nothing else' alloy issue from before. :p

Even under the theory Emolga was unfairly judged at the start, it felt like she got off easy in the end. Her retaliation tripled the vindictiveness of what she suffered. You almost root for the trio when they find out she's duped them and decide to make the little runt squirm. Then again Emolga is kinda famed for being bad at being a hero Pokemon. Some here seem surprised she didn't turn evil for real.

Aww Emolga seemed so misunderstood here and seeing her get sympathy from Team Rocket was interesting. I was impressed by how she defeated all of Team Rocket's pokemon and I liked seeing an Exploud again.

I may be late in noticing, but Pansy has a habit of leaving Satoshi's group by themselves, and she doesn't come back until conflicts are settled. I vastly enjoyed Emonga's sulking however, and her teaming up with the Rocket-dan was worth a few chuckles. In the end, she made the right decision and helped save Kibago.

Omg, I loved Emolga in this episode tho. She was clearly wronged and I loved that she joined TR's side as a kind of revenge for a little while and that everything ended up okay in the end because this episode was really funny. :p

So Emolga gets blamed for stuff that wasn't her fault, runs off and joins the TRio for the purpose of making Iris sorry for treating her like that, then decides to mess with Team Rocket and get back in Iris's good graces.

That's the jist of the plot. Emolga just wanted to redeem herself, which was good development for her.

Frankly, Emonga was so entertaining while she was using the Rocket-dan that I wish she had stayed with them longer. She could've mimicked Nyasu by infiltrating the enemy for several episodes like he did earlier in Best Wishes.

Overall a pretty good episode even for a filler. Nice to see some old BW antics back, like Snivy's and Emolga's rivalry. I actually felt bad for Emolga and she can be hard for me to tolerate.

I'd have felt much more sympathetic if she hadn't been so insufferable in Best Wishes on occasions, although she redeemed herself in the end here.
