Team Weird o.O

fierylord

Charmander! Yay!
This is a pretty standard team, consisting of mostly OU pokemon.

477.png

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Impish Nature
Hyper cutter

Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Roost
Stone Edge

EVs: 252 HP, 40 def, 216 SpD

My lead.

80.png

Slowbro @ Shell Bell (help on item?)
Bold Nature
Own Tempo

Ice Beam
Surf
Slack Off
Thunderwave

EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/ 4 SpD

Kind of an offensive/defensive wall, can annoy with thunder wave and heal with slack off, it has moves for killing.

474.png

Yanmega @ Petaya Berry
Modest Nature
Speed Boost

Substitute
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Hypnosis

EVs: 252 Sp. Att, 252 SpD, 4 HP

It starts off with substitute, then uses it until Petaya Berry comes in effect.. It has hypnosis to out something to sleep. Bug Buzz and Air Slash have STAB, and Yanmega constantly gains speed so it can't be attacked first. I've had this set before, it works great.

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Jolly Nature
Blaze

Close Combat
Swords Dance
Fire Punch
Mach Punch/Stone Edge/Thunderpunch (help?)

EVs: 252 Att/252 SpD/ 4 HP

It uses Swords Dance, hangs onto Focus Sash in case it gets koed, and then just sweeps. Fire Punch and Close Combat have STAB and can deal great damage.
94.png

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid Nature
Levitate

Protect
Sludge Bomb/Thunder Bolt?
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast/Thunder Bolt

EVs: 252 SpD/252 Sp.Att/4 HP

A straight forward sweeper, it has Protect so I can see what moves the oponnent uses, also revealing what Pokemon I should switch to in case Gengar dies. Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball have STAB, and can deal a lot of damage, also with the help of Life Orb. I don't know if I should use Focus Blast or Thunder Bolt yet.

Togekiss @ ???
Calm Nature
Serene Grace

Air Slash
Thunder Wave
Roost
Aura Sphere

252 HP/ 4 Def/ 252 SpD

A Flinch-Togekiss. It has Air slash for STAB, and extra flinch. Thunder Wave also has a chance of Paralyzing the oponnent, also letting me attack first. I have Roost to heal, so Togekiss can heal and have protection from thunder for one turn. Aura Sphere never misses and can kill Steel-types.

WEST SIDE
OK, I think that this team is an OK start for a team. However, it could certainly be improved. \\

The first thing I want to ask about is your use with items. You do realize that Item Clause is not a standard clause, right? Thus you may as well get rid of Focus Sash for Life Orb on Infernape, and use Leftovers on Togekiss and Slobro.

Since I mentioned removing Focus Sash, I may as well give a solid reason why. You have to way whatsoever of keeping Stealth Rock or Spikes off of the field. Thus Focus Sash is a completely useless item. However, if you want to use Gliscor to its full potential, you could use Taunt > Stone Edge, thus letting you stop spiking and Stealth Rocking leads cold.

Sorry to make this short, but I'll give this team a full rate later. off the bat, I can see that you can't quite deal with Sub/Petaya Empoleon, so consider something to deal with that.

With that type of bulky Togekiss, I would go with Leftovers for a hold item. In doubles, that Togekiss would work great with Follow Me. Leftovers are always better than Shell Bell so you might want to consider that for Slowbro but if you play by the item clause then that should stay on Slowbro and Togekiss should have a Sitrus Berry.

Oh yea...what's weird about Togekiss?

You want HP fire on mystic gar so if scizor uses non priority, you rip it to bits. U-turn or taunt on gliscor as these moves are useful for a lead.
