Ninjice saw that alot of people weren't exactly okay with him being here. He understood though. He had a bit of a temper.

“Uh, only one problem with that Splinter,” suggested Control Freak letting go of Bloodbath’s arm and pulling out the shattered remains of his controller. Ninjice looked to CF with a raised eyebrow. He actually took the 'Splinter' comment as a compliment.

Bloodbath grabbed Control Freak’s collar, “Am I really your Watson?”

“Absolutely, Imouto,” agreed Control Freak.

“Then tell them you can’t leave without me!” she snapped, smacking him. Control Freak was dazed, he pointed to Bloodbath, “Uh… even… even if I can get it fixed on the way, I can’t leave without Watson… She’ll hurt me.”

"Didn't know you were the older brother figure, CF," Ninjice said. He knew some Japanese pretty well. Though he and Nightwing exchanged looks. It was interesting that Control Freak looked at the troubled girl with some form of affection and her with him.

He did look annoyed at her. Ninjice shook his head. She was definitely the troubled teen sort of girl. However, it appeared the thing was out of his hands.

"Well, if she has to come, then I am also going with the group," Ninjice said. However, things were starting to get complicated. He heard Gameboy shoot down Fossil's ideas regarding the missiles. He raised his eyebrow at that, coming from Fossil.

However, Cat and Golem were planning to with the original Titans. Things were starting to get out of hand.

"I do not think we should go around the demons. We need to kill them to stop them from killing citizens, and there being a lot of them they need to be stopped from doing that. That is my opinion, but maybe Nightwing has a better idea?" Starfire said as she floated to him.

"Star's right. We need to neutralize the demons as a threat. Meanwhile, I appreciate all of you volunteering. However, we don't need such a large group. First of all, most of you are needed to help control the remaining demon forces and escort civilians out," Nightwing began.

"In that case, myself, Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy will escort Bloodbath and Control Freak over to the last portal so it can be closed. Ninjice, I need you to lead the other group here in fending off the demons," Nightwing explained.

When Blackfire explained what happened between her and Ninjice, Ninjice blushed slightly. He looked to the others. "Very few people are born evil into this world and everyone has reasons for doing so. It just takes some compassion," Ninjice said as he couldn't help but hold Blackfire's hand.

BB looked impressed at Fossil's transformation and decided to try that out sometime later.

After showing off to the titans, Fossil approached Bloodbath and Ninjice. "Alright, if we're taking back this hall, we need a plan of attack. Those demons are probably holed up somewhere waiting for an ambush. I suggest we stick together and storm the halls, whoever follows the leader covers them if they get ambushed. Any other ideas?"

Before Ninjice could answer, he heard Bloodbath comment.

“Are you even listening?” Bloodbath asked Starfire, in annoyed voice, “I’m going with Control Freak. I don’t care about your little evacuation," she said.

"We get it. You, Control Freak and the original 5 will close the portal while most of us get rid of the demons here," Ninjice said pointedly.

“Gizmo!” called out Control Freak jogging sluggishly up to them. He looked like he was really feeling his bodily disproportions, “I need your help Doc! We’ve got to deinanimate my remote, so I can help close the final portal.”

Ninjice saw it was Gizmo. He was a technological genius; but he apparently still had the potty mouth and mentality of a rotten kid. He shook his head.

“Awe man, what you do to this thing, Wonder-Gut? We just rebuilt it.” complained Gizmo picking up a couple of pieces out of Control Freak’s hand. Control Freak scowled at the name-calling, “The demons attacked me as I was returning to HQ on a snack run. I tried to summon Godzilla to stomp their asses, but one of them got me in a headlock. It was like WWE, except real.”

Ninjice saw that after the two and a newcomer arrived, they managed to go and fix the control.

“Let’s get moving already,” moaned Bloodbath as she approached one of the holes in the wall and waved her hands, the blood around her and the room in general rolled out the hole and formed a slide. Fastest way down.

Control Freak stopped posing, and turned quickly, “Right! Coming!”

“Since you seem to be in charge today, do you mind terribly if I and my army follows you out, to assist?”

Ninjice turned as he saw who it was.

Slade.

Ninjice remembered his first encounter with the former assassin turned crime boss. He ended up saving the Titans from a trap due to being relatively unknown. He didn't like the guy one bit and was probably one of the few people he seriously contemplated killing before this whole mess started.

Apparently, the others were not happy to see him. Nightwing remained composted, but his face definitely looked sterner and it was obvious he was not happy to see him.

Cyborg had the same look while Beast Boy simply glared at the man, baring some sharp teeth. Considering the whole thing with Terra all those years ago, BB probably had the biggest bone to pick with Slade besides Nightwing.

"We can use all the help we can get," Ninjice decided to answer. His tone was frosty, but professional. When this was over, their combat would resume.

But for now, teeth-clenched teamwork would do.

Slade of all people showed up. I had been wondering where he was since the death of Shade, if he was even alive. But I agreed with Ninjice, even though I didn't particularly like Slade and he had caused us much grief in the past. I tried to put on my best smile, even though it was fake, and spoke to him through my teeth. "Yes, if you'd like to send some Sladebots to help fight the demons streaming out of the portal, I will not object." I looked at the map on my wrist comm, and the dots in the west were increasing. "We should, as I have heard it said before, get going. Is that right? Let us get going." I floated over to the doorway of City Hall and up a little.

"I believe BB or Raven should carry Cyborg at your discretion, while Nightwing clings to one of my legs. Flight is the fastest way to get to the demons. The only problem I see is that the Control Freak cannot fly, but he can probably be carried by the one not carrying Cyborg." I flew west out the door with Nightwing holding onto my left leg and the others following.

Eventually we got to where the demons were on their way to City Hall, terrorizing the city on the way. "This is despicable. We must do something." I threw Nightwing at the demon swarm, hoping he remembered the way we used to do this in the past when he was simply Robin. He usually threw gadgets at whatever he was attacking at the time then landed on buildings and ready to be thrown again.

I then started to throw Starbolts at the swarming demons and blast them with my eye beams. We had to get through to the portal to close it. Breaking through the swarm was only a means to an end, and we did not need to kill all of them at this moment.

Apparently Faith decided to follow along for some reason and seemed to be copying my flight. I was not about to send her back and she would be useful in this fight. She copied the fire abilities of the various demons and started to use it against them.

"We should, as I have heard it said before, get going. Is that right? Let us get going," Starfire said after the awkward moment with Slade. She then began giving suggestions.

"I believe BB or Raven should carry Cyborg at your discretion, while Nightwing clings to one of my legs. Flight is the fastest way to get to the demons. The only problem I see is that the Control Freak cannot fly, but he can probably be carried by the one not carrying Cyborg," Starfire said.

"I agree. Raven, you carry Cyborg. Beast Boy, you carry Control Freak," Nightwing pointed out before he grabbed onto Starfire's leg and proceeded to lead the charge to the final portal.

"This is despicable. We must do something," Starfire said before she threw Nightwing. Nightwing briefly smiled at the nostalgia. It has been many years since he can go and be with his team, so he would savor this moment.

"TITANS GO!!!"

Nightwing proceeded to launch some projectiles around the demons before they all activated and released a powerful electric field, paralyzing and wounding a good deal.

Starfire followed through with her Starbolts. While being carried by Raven, Cyborg proceeded to launch his improved Sonic Cannon at the demons. "We're about 500 meters from the portal according to the sensors," Cyborg said as the portal was starting to come into view.

"Okay Control Freak, when we're at a good distance, get ready to deactivate the portal. Get it ready by calibrating it or whatevs," Beast Boy said in his pterodactyl form. During his years, he trained and developed himself to be able to communicate with his allies regardless of what state he was in. Nightwing noticed that Faith was around and assisting Starfire. He decided not to question it for the time being, though from what he read, she could duplicate powers.

Perhaps if Control Freak's remote failed, Faith could assist Raven in closing the portal.

Meanwhile, Ninjice was leading the charge with getting rid of as many demons as possible. Most of the civilians had escaped by now, so they were allowed to be more of loose-cannons, but still careful not accidentally collapse any buildings on themselves.

Golem had transformed and began to assist the soldiers once more.

Ninjice was slashing demons in half with his sword before they ended up being frozen by the blade. He made a mental note to try and expand on his ice powers. "Blackfire, how are you holding up?" Ninjice asked her. Ninjice saw that the flow of demons was gradually decreasing. Ninjice pondered what that could be a sign of?

Ninjice replied to Slades suggestion in a forced manner. Control Freak couldn’t help smiling as he glanced back to watch the proceedings, it was every bit as good as movie. Starfire seemed to disagree with Bloodbath’s slide plan, and insisted on them flying out, and apparently it was not too far to fly to the door.

Bloodbath groaned in annoyance, letting the blood slide melt away, then transforming into an owl. Beast boy took on a basic pterodactyl form and snatched up Control Freak, who spouted off his usual nonsense, “Wooo Jurassic Park!”

Control Freak looked wildly around at the scene. Bloodbath swooped in low over the ground forming a spear of blood she could carry in owl form. A trio of dragons rose off the Town Hall roof. Starfire and Nightwing attacked approaching demons as they went, aided by Faith. Slade and his army marched across the desolate city taking down any demons they came across with ease. The younger, smaller, demons crisped up a few demons whilst the larger dragon flapped slowly to stay aloft high above the battle.

Awesome.

Cyborg announced that they were getting close, in meters. What happen to the royal measurement system we use in the US? Was Cyborg metric, like Calculon’s girlfriend? Beast Boy said to get ready, though he really shouldn’t have been able to talk. Control Freak stared at the remote, he’d never done anything like this with it before. He should probably have already been working on a plan.

What was the simplest solution? The power button.

What if that didn’t work? Pause, rewind, channel, mute, menu…

Bloodbath swooped in near the portal forming up into her human form. She thrust her spear into the nearest demon and kicked another as it approached her. Beast Boy circled in after her, dropping off Control Freak. Control Freak rolled as he hit the ground. It wasn’t the controlled martial arts roll that he’d himself trained to do, but rather his girth and the impact combined to in a epic loss of control. He got to his feet shaking his head and checked his controller, still perfectly intact.

Well, here goes nothing then. He aimed it at the portal and wincing smashed down the power button.

Gizmo and M-47 stayed behind as some of the heroes and villains flew off to the portal, the rest were to clear out city hall. Gizmo turned to his creation, “Let’s get some payback! Those scuz-wads had me trapped in Brother Blood’s reading room.”

“Ready to shred some archaic-elder god butt, Master Gizmo,” commented M-47, his shoulders popping open to reveal as series of mini missiles. Gizmo flipped on his jetpack, with a sigh, “Just follow my lead.”

He retrieved a fireball launcher from his pack and with a few swift movements snapped it open to full size. M-47 activated his jetpack as well. Swooping through a hole in the floor, they started to scan for demons they could pick off.

Villains and Heroes were running rampant as they attacked the remaining demons.

Finally, things started to heat up. The original Titans, cat, most of the villans, Golem, and even Bloobbath and Control Freak went out to attack the demon horde and close the final portal. That left Fossil with Cat, Golem, Gizmo and his robot, and a handful of other villans. They quickly spread out, searching for a destroying demons along the way. Fossil himself split off down a hallway, in the form of pachyrhinosaurus, a medium sized ceratopsian. He was just large enough to take up most of the hallway, without breaking the walls or ceiling. His huge head would catch any demons ahead of him.

Multiple demons became compressed as he bowled down the halls. His momentum carried hims through, and his elephant like feet trampled many a demon to dust. Some ended up behind him and began to scorch his flesh, but he couldn't stop. By the time he would turn and charge them, he'd be broiled alive. Better to endure the pain and continue onwards.

Unforunately, he came to a dead end. He could hear the hissing of demons behind him, preparing to roast him. Thinking quickly, Fossil changed to a prehistoric bacterium, invisible to the naked eye and too small to burn. There he waited, blind to the world around him. He knew the demons would either come closer to investigate, or leave. Taking a chance, he changed to falcarius, a small relative of the deadly therizinosaurus, and slashed his claws around like a mad man. He got lucky, catching one demon with his right hand. They had all bunched up near the dead end, looking for him.

Spinning rapidly, Fossil slashed his way through the remaining demons, acting quickly so they wouldn't have time to react. After disposing them, he ran back through the halls, eager to rejoin the main battle.

Raven flew into battle with her old friends, feeling a great amount of nostalgia and aphrehension. She knew her father would do everything in his power to come through this portal, and they needed to stop him here. She gave a half smile when Robin....No Nightwing said "Titans Go!". She was once again united with her true family.

The battle began, and Raven shot many shadowy blobs of energy at the demons, destroying each one with a single hit. They were particularly weak to her attacks, being made up of similar energy her powers were. Nearby rubble was added to her attacks, as she lifted and slammed whatever she could find on the demons.

However, she soon turned her attention to the portal, which Control Freak had already reached with the help of beast boy. Flying over to him, she saw him press the power button on his remote while aiming it at the portal. "Really?" she thought. "That's his plan?". Sighing in frustration, she focused her mind and powers on the portal. She had no idea if she could close it or not, because Trigon would, without a doubt, put all his remaining reasources into this one. But she had to try anyway.

The amount of force almost knocked her unconscious. Spots appeared in her vision, and all she could hear was a dull ringing noise. Her body felt numb and her nose began to bleed. Her inscriptions on her body were glowing so brightly those on the other side of the battlefield would take notice. Her eyes changed to those of Trigon's, two sets of blood-red, slanted eyes. She had no idea of what was going on anymore, just one thought that rang through her mind. "Close the portal, close the portal, close the portal......"

Her energies drained, she lost control and fell the to the ground. The last thing she saw before losing consciouness was the shrinking portal, its life slowly dying.

The portal was rapidly closing from the efforts of both the Control Freak and Raven, the latter passing out from the stress. I flew down to catch her before she hurt herself on the ground, while the gigantic horde of demons seemingly evaporated. Losing connection to Trigon must have made it impossible to exist in this realm, and either they died or were pulled back. This was not my realm of knowledge. The portal was about the size of a finger now, as a voice could be heard through it.

"Do not think you have won. Sons! Pave the way for your father! Psimon, do not fail me as my Portal!" The booming voice of Trigon came through the portal as it closed.

A call from Lektra came in on my wrist communicator and I picked it up. "Starfire, you might want to look at this map I'm projecting. This is seriously not good. I'm sending the same info to Ninjice, Fossil, and Cyborg but we don't have a lot of time." I could hear the sound of her controlling the keyboard with her mind.

On the map a big orange dot was being shown over City Hall. "That is.....another portal?" I asked her, already starting to fly eastward and motioning the others to follow.

"That's right, and Psimon is leading the charge. I don't have a lot of info on the Sons, but they just jumped out of the portal with a horde of their corresponding Minions each, then spread out and started mesmerizing the citizens around the city. My Stalker Spheres are detecting demonic energy. If I had to guess, they're gathering Sin Energy to fuel the portal to make it big enough so that Trigon may cross over. Psimon is attacking the soldiers guarding City Hall with mixed Minions and lava demons. Cat and Golem are assisting the soldiers, but have asked for backup. Currently, Slade's robots aren't having much luck either."

She signed off and I switched my wrist comm to talk to the others. I was carrying Raven in my arms. "Friends, we must head back to City Hall to confront Psimon, then Raven's brothers." I flew toward City Hall carrying Raven.

Blackfire followed Fossil and helped him annihilate the demons that had infiltrated the building, blasting them apart. She enjoyed this very much, then noticed Ninjice's and Fossil's communicators beeping. "You two might want to get that." She motioned to them as explosions could be heard outside the building.

She flew out only to be greeted by Psimon. He leered at her, throwing his demonic psychic energy at her. Blackfire was hit by the rays and her armor was scratched, but she started to blast him with her eye beams and throw Blackbolts at him. She could take him. Maybe. Psimon was obviously playing with her, and wanted to fight Raven instead.

Ninjice had picking off the remaining demons through ice kunai and the sword before he got a messege from Lektra. Apparently, a new portal had opened through Psimon. Not only that, but there was also the introduction of Raven's brothers. He braced himself for a fight.

He then saw Blackfire go and confront the madman. Ninjice prepared to strike.

He disappeared into a shadowy blur. He made his way over to Psimon from behind and attempted to launch a powerful concentrated snow burst at the madman.

"Are you okay, Blackfire?" Ninjice asked his dangerous lady.

As the portal began closing, the Titans sighed in relief. It wasn't over, but it was still a success. Nightwing prepared for the inevitable.

"Do not think you have won. Sons! Pave the way for your father! Psimon, do not fail me as my Portal!" The booming voice of Trigon came through the portal as it closed.

There it was.

Lektra sent some vital information to Star, Nightwing, Fossil and Ninjice. Nightwing picked up the information that he read. Starfire pointed out that they needed to head out. There was a new portal.

And it was Psimon.

"That's right, and Psimon is leading the charge. I don't have a lot of info on the Sons, but they just jumped out of the portal with a horde of their corresponding Minions each, then spread out and started mesmerizing the citizens around the city. "Control Freak. Use anything of your remote's capabilities to interfere with Psimon's attempts regarding the portal," Nightwing told him as they began heading to the location of the portal.

"Coordinates received," Cyborg says as he also got the location and information and began thinking of a plan. "We gotta be careful, guys," Beast Boy stated. "We don't know what Ravens' bros are capable of doing. Speaking of, Raven, how many of them are there?" he asked her.

Nightwing was trying to figure out what their powers could be. Perhaps once they caught a glimpse, they could then move on to the best way of defeating them.

Control Freak began a wobbly premature victory dance as the portal began to shrink. He was pretty sure Raven’s magic had done more than his remotes, but it was a victory for humanity as a whole really. He froze solid though as a booming voice echoed out of the portal, “Do not think you have won. Sons! Pave the way for your father! Psimon, do not fail me as my Portal!”

That was bad. That was really, really, bad. It wasn’t Tribbles bad, it was Klingon death battle bad. Shakleton bad. Vashta Nerada bad. Ghostbusters for NES bad.

Starfire got a call from Lektra, another portal was opening at City Hall. Starfire instructed them for return to City Hall. What an annoying run-around, thought Control Freak looking up. The three dragons were circling overhead like vultures. They might as well be, if Trigon get through, they’d have free reign to eat whomever’s corpse they wanted.

The group started to moved back towards Town Hall. Bloodbath took on her owl form once more and rose into the sky. (I’m assuming Beast Boy has Control Freak again or something like that.) Adult Robin called out to him, “Control Freak. Use anything of your remote's capabilities to interfere with Psimon's attempts regarding the portal.”

“You got it,” nodded Control Freak. He fiddled with the remote, “I’ll have to get closer, but I should be able to scramble his psychic frequencies.”

Cyborg announced he’d received the coordinates, then Beast Boy asked Raven how many brothers she had. Raven was in no condition to answer, but that was an easy question, so Control Freak went ahead and answered for her, “Six.”

(DVB: Feel free to have them question how he knows that, but we all know that he’d know.)

Control Freak watched the dragons gracefully glide overhead. Were they really on the same side? He’d seen them toast a few demons, but it kind of just looked like they were playing. What was that wriggling in the big one’s talons?

Gizmo and M-47 enthusiastically mowed down demons, until suddenly, they evaporated. M-47 chirped happily, “They closed the portal Master Gizmo!”

“Looks like it,” agreed Gizmo. He felt kind of happy for once, briefly. He put the safety back on, on his fireball launcher, with a loud click. Around them people were chatting softly, despite their dichotomy of alignment. Suddenly several loud booms came from outside, explosions. Gizmo zipped to the nearest window. Blackfire and Ninjice were confronting Psimon outside, and there was a growing portal nearby. He clicked the safety back off on his launcher, “M-47, we’re not done yet!”

Gizmo navigated his jetpack back a few feet and launched a fireball at the window. The force pushed him back a few feet further, and the air pressure change blew out the window, while the heat scorched the surrounding walls.

“Ca-ool!” shouted M-47. The pair zipped through the window and to the battle below. Gizmo launched several fireballs at the psychic, “You dirty double-crossing maggot infested old prune!”

Exiting the city hall, Fossil saw what had happened in his absence. Most of the demons had been slaughtered, and those that hadn't were in the process of being destroyed. The last remaining portal had been closed, but they certainly were not out of the woods yet. Raven appeared to be unconscious, depleted from the effort of closing the portal. Also, an odd looking man, supposedly Psimon, and many new lava demons were coming through another portal. Lekra came through on his communicator, informing him about the situation with Raven's brothers and the potentially incoming Trigon. Fossil charged into the fray, heading directly for one of Raven's brothers. (Its Jared). Currently, that brother was torturing humans, watching them burn alive. Luckily for Fossil, this currently had his attention.

Plowing through the demons was easy for Fossil, in the form of Daeodon. Also known affectionately as the "Terminator Pig", Daeodon was a bison sized, predatory pig with the attitude of a wolverine. His trash compacter-like jaws snapped demon minions in half, and his bulk and speed kept him relatively safe from the demons fire attacks. Jared became aware of Fossil's charge too late, and was headbutted at 30 mph by one ton of miocene fury.

The impact sent Jared flying, but the son of Trigon righted himself in midair and sent a flury of fireballs in Fossil's direction. Fossil responded by changing to doedicurus, a heavily armored mammal that is greatly resistant to fire. The fireballs broke apart against his armor, dissapating harmlessly. However, having so much armor came at the cost of speed, and Fossil was then pummled and sent rollign backwards. He stopped his rolling by changing to human and surveying his situation. Jared was in the air, and all but untouchable by Fossil's best forms. Jared floated towards Fossil, laughing arrogantly. He conjured a ring of fire around him that slowly began to close in.

Fossil countered this attack by changing to Mamenchisaurus. Jared had underestimated his opponent, thinking he was out of Fossil's range. The sudden transformation caught the son of Wrath off gaurd. The sudden growth of Fossil neck from a few inches to 33 feet let him headbutt Jared yet again, and while he was stunned by the hit, Fossil stamped the ground with his elephantine feet, putting out the flames.

Raven awoke again in Starfire's arms, being carries who knows where. She tried to remember what was going on, but her head was in extreme pain, and she almost blacked out again. She knew is had something to do with Control Freak's remote, but she had trouble focusing beyond that.

While she drifted in and out of consciousness, Trigon attempted to take her back. Her mind was weak and confused, and he tried to use her as a new portal. However, confused and lost as she was, Raven internally fought back, like a trapped animal that wasn't aware how serious the situation was.

She awoke in a cold sweat a few minutes later, still disoriented, but regaining her recent memories. The threat of Trigon made her sit up with a start, and she imdiately floated from Starfires grasp. Taking in her surroundings, she saw that she and Control Freak had succeded in closing Trigon's last portal. However, Psimon, with the help of her brothers, had opened another portal in a last ditch effort to summon Trigon. The remaining titans and villans were fighting her them, outnumbered and nearly outclassed as well.

Raven knew that Psimon would be incredibly powerful, having fed off of Trigon's energy. In her prime, she could beat him, but as weak as she was now....

"Starfire, I'm not sure if I can fight. Closing that portal drained me" said Raven, unsure of what to do next.

Ninjice found himself face to face with the demonically-empowered Psimon. By using the sword, he was able to hold off some of the magic attacks of Psimon. However, it left him in a defensive position, unable to attack him. Furthermore, Raven's brothers were giving an attack. From what he heard from the communicator, Raven was currently low in magic, leaving for Control Freak to try and close the portal by interfering with Psimon's psychic abilities.

Meanwhile, he would try and send some ice stars at Raven's brothers. From what he heard, Raven had six brothers. That made seven in total. "Seven... Guys! I think I figured it out! Each one of Raven's brothers is associated with the Seven Deadly Sins! That must mean they will probably draw on the sins if the people and corrupt them to feed on them more," Ninjice said as he was holding off Psimon. That left Raven... But she was the one sent... His portal. "His pride... This puts 'daddy's little girl' into play," Ninjice reflected as he grimaced.

"Control Freak! Once you find the frequency, fire!" Ninjice said.

"Raven, if you need to rest, don't hesitate in doing so," Nightwing told her while they were heading back to stop Psimon. "Raven, just go and relax," Beast Boy said as they were flying. He was still carrying Control Freak. "Okay guys, once we stop Psimon, we defeat Raven's brothers. From what were gathering, Fossil is currently fighting one of them. We'll each take one and if we need help, we'll get some of the others," Nightwing explained.

"Control Freak, once you lock on and attack, I'll try and synchronize with my Sonic Cannon so we can double the chance of disabling Psimon," Cyborg stated.

Flying Into Battle at outside City Hall

As Beast Boy flew closer, with Bloodbath flapping furiously nearby to keep up, Control Freak could see Psimon, with Ninjice, Blackfire, Gizmo, and M-47 all attacking him. But it didn’t look like their attacks were particularly effective. He could also see Fossil fighting a guy with fire power. He didn’t know for sure what Raven’s brothers looked like, but he was pretty sure this was one of them. Dang, they’d already made it through the portal?

As much as he’d like to watch Jurassic Park VS. Hell Rider, there was more important business at hand. Raven was awake now, but still weak, his remote had to do the heavy lifting this time. Beast Boy told her to relax, and adult Robin hammered out a plan to take on Raven’s brothers.

Below, the Ninjice was shouting something, but Control Freak really couldn’t hear him over the rush of wind and flapping pterodactyl wings. Cyborg however, was closer and had a plan he could hear, “Control Freak, once you lock on and attack, I’ll try and synchronize with my Sonic Cannon so we can double the chance of disabling Psimon.”

“Get ready then!” shouted back Control Freak. He aimed the remote for Psimon and hit a short sequence of buttons. His standard banter spilled out of his mouth, “Behold the awesome power of my Remote Control!”

Brother Blood shouted furiously as Malchoir swooped in to check out the situation below. The ancient dragon had been flying him all around, and he was not enjoying it in the slightest, though he knew better than to struggle and let himself fall. However, Malchoir seemed to be sick of the nagging and released him. Hurtling towards the Earth, Brother Blood let out a shriek and tried to focus on levitating, which was certainly hard to do with the ground fast approaching.

A black form swooped in under him. Malchoir had apparently decided not to let him die. The old dragon circled around, with his youngsters still in tow, and approached one of the newly emerged brothers (James, Greed). He blew down a line of fire, which the sin avatar rolled away from. The younger dragons imitated him, but both missed the target completely. Brother Blood got it now. He turned and shot off a Sonic Cannon blast of red energy at James. James taking the full force of the blast, rolled back, but was soon back on his feet.

Malchior was coming around again, and Brother Blood could see there was stuff on the ground around James. Had he not noticed these things before? He could make out what they were now, piles of gold coins, ancient artifacts, tomes and spell books. And was that? Yes, it appeared to be a copy of the same spell book that Brother Blood had lost to the demon in the elevator. He leaned into Malchior, “We need that spell book!”

“Do not be fooled puny mortal,” laughed the dragon with a plume of smoke, “that book is but an illusion... An admittedly good illusion. But just an illusion.”

That would explain why he hadn’t notice it before.

OOC Just letting you guys know, Jared is not dead. Fossil badly wounded him, but Trigon's powers and the rage and pain of those nearby will revive him. He's just temporarily out of the fight.)

Fossil could seen with his now none peripheral vison that all the remaining heros and villans were converging either on the new demon horde, or Psimon himself. Raven was weak and Psimon's enhanced powers were more than a match for any single super here. He wanted to finish this fight quickly, but this demon fellow was no pushover. He was taking hits that would cripple most villans, and Fossil was having trouble keeping up. He needed to find a formula for beating his opponent, but everytime he scored a hit, he saw his opponent get back up and retaliate.

Jared lauched another flurry of fireballs at Fossil, who dogded by changing to the incredibly fast and agile meganuera, a dragonfly with a three foot wingspan. By constantly watching his environment with eyes that took up 70% of his head, he was able to avoid burning alive. But he couldn't get close enough to Jared to do any damage, and even if he could, nothing in the meganuera's arsenal would be enough to hurt him.

Fossil was running on steam when he heard Ninjice yell advice to his teamates. "Guys! I think I figured it out! Each one of Raven's brothers is associated with the Seven Deadly Sins! That must mean they will probably draw on the sins if the people and corrupt them to feed on them more,"
This was news to Fossil, but he tried to apply it to this guy. Recounting the sins in his head, there were pride, lust, greed, glutton, sloth, envy, and wrath. Fossil remembered seeing this guy burning people alive earlier. "That rules out greed, envy, lust, sloth, and glutton. Probably wrath. Great, how do I fight the idea of anger?" he thought to himself, relying on the Meganuera's instincts to help him avoid death.

"Unless....." Acting quickly, Fossil put his only plan into motion. His compound eyes showed him that only he and the demon son of Trigon were near. All of those he had been torturing were either dead or gone. He landed on the ground and turned into Ankylosaurus, the incredibly armored dinosaur. Fireballs burst against his hide, but like the doedicurus, he could take them with ease. Even the dark energy blasts. While he couldn't do this forever, he could take an abnormal amount of punishment.

And then, Fossil thought positively. He thought of his childhood, of his loving parents and many pets. He thought of past titans, who had become good friends, or even more. He thought of laughter, of funny moments, of nostalgia. And a few seconds later, when reality snapped him back, he thought about how the fireballs and energy blasts were much weaker.

Soon, the blasts didn't even make him flinch. He was able to stand normally, not crouched and bracing. The shots continued to weaken, and as they did, Jared started to float lower and lower to the ground. Fossil now changed form, this time to the speedy ornithomimus, an ostrich-like dinosaur that can run at 40 mph. He bounded across the now blackened tar, dogding the weak blasts. And all the while, he thought happliy, never once thinking of harming his opponent. On the contrary, he thought of them as friends in a misunderstanding.

Jared was now on the ground, standing, but unable to fly. His shots couldn't go farther than 10 feet from him. He was furious, his face twisted in fury, but he could do nothing but snarl in anger. Fossil had guessed that, if this was indeed Wrath, that he would likely feed off of rage and pain. So Fossil made it so he felt no pain or rage. The opposite in fact.

Fossil was now human, standing 5 feet from Jared, who was breathing heavily and slouching forward. His eyes glew red, and a black aura surrounded him. He spoke, his very voice dripping with hatred. "I am the third son of Trigon, the being of Wrath, you insubordinate cretin. How dare you try to disarm me. I will be your end". Fossil stood there, a true smile upon his face. Jared could only read happiness from him, but not even happiness of his victory.

Walking towards Jared, Fossil morphed his arm to that of therizinosaurus. Now equipped with large claws, spoke softly to Jared. "It's okay. I love you too". With that, Fossil stabbed his almost one foot long hand claws into Jareds abdomen. Jared slumped to the ground, clutching his chest and bleeding profusely. Fossil wasted no time in leaving him, flying off as a darwinopterus, a sparrow sized pterosaur. He flew towards the Dragons, who were attacking another son of Trigon, most likely greed. He flew low and quickly, hoping to make an ambush.

Having rested, Raven flew into battle. She ignored the legions of lava demons below her as she went straight for Psimon. She could feel her fathers energy eminating from him, and knew that his prescence would make this fight difficult. Not only would she have to fight Psimon physically, but her father mentally as well. This would be a fight on two fronts.

She blasted an arm of dark energy at Psimon, hoping to catch him off gaurd. However, Psimon could sense her presence, and imediatly conjured up a wall of energy to protect himself. At the same time, Trigon tried to force himself through Raven, to use her as a portal to enter the human world. Her attack faltered, and she grabbed her head in pain.

"Azarath....MentriAAAAHHHHH!!!" She screamed, unable to block out the pain of her fathers presence in her. At the same time, Psimon lauched a telekinetic blast at her, sending her falling to the ground and bouncing away on the tar. She struggled to get, not noticing Psimon was moving in close for another attack.
