you may be able to counter the shitty in-game ones that don't use encore and ****, but honestly in the right hands and with the right support, wobbuffet is unstoppable and and beatable

NO Status won't work, i'll just bring in bliss and heal bell

no stat-up moves won't work, i'll just encor then bring in charizard and drum up and sweep

When Wobbuffet switches, you can switch too. Encore doesn't last forever, and is quite unpredictable. Status works in a multiple of ways. Either you suffer to death, or you can switch, which allows me to switch. Linoone will die after it belly drums. Ever play Pokemon Stadium 2. Listen to what Earl says. Sacrifices will help you when you know when to sacrifice. And you can't always assume you'll have more Pokemon than Wobbuffett. What if your Heal Beller is dead? also trapping isn't really much of a counter as you clearly can't switch them into it, and they have to have toxic, which makes them pretty situational and pretty useless against teams without wobba

also yeah you can switch, but i switch zard in after encore, you switch to say starmie on the turn 'zard uses substitute, you surf, i belly drum, salac berry activates, GG you lose

pretty much works with dragon dance tyranitar aswell, seeming as after 1 dd it is a huge threat to any water with STAB rock slide, 30% flinch chance, and isn't ohko'd by surf, and stops leftovers with sandstream.

seriously stop resorting to situational events that would be ****ing common sense, obviously if wobba is the last pokemon you can beat it quite easily.

And if you people cannot figure out how to beat Wobbuffett, sorry, but that's sad. It's called Poison, Sleep, Burn, Leech Seed, Bulk Up+Bam, Calm Mind+Bam, etc., Baton Pass, Roar, Double Team, Minimize, Sand Attack, Any Dark Pokemon with Crunch, etc. I could go on, but you people need to figure it out on your own. Heck, Struggle even... EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE A POKEMON (OMG!)....

Attempt to status Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet Encores it, trainer switches to Heracross, and Heracross owns you.

Attempt to Leech Seed Wobbuffet: Wobbufet Encores it, trainer switches to Celebi, and Celebi proceeds to setup in your face.

Attempt to Bulk Up on Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet Encores it, then in comes a Calm Minder to setup and own you.

Attempt to Calm Mind on Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet Encores it, and in comes a Dragon Dancer/Dugtrio to setup and own you.

Attempt to use Baton Pass on Wobbuffet: Yes, lets Baton Pass to something else that Wobbuffet can trap, unless you're passing to Toxic Porygon2/Toxic Dugtrio...

Attempt to Roar out Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet Encores it, and you'll take massive damage while Roaring things out, or DDtar Taunts your Roar while it prepares to sweep your whole team.

Double Team and Minimize are banned from competitive play.

Attempt to Sand Attack Wobbuffet (ROFL): Skarmory anybody? Free Spikage.

Attempt to use Crunch on Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet doesn't carry Mirror Coat for nothing.

Bottom line: Taunt is the only reliable counter. Toxic Porygon2, Toxic Dugtrio, and Taunt Tyranitar are liable counters also, but only if you lead with them (which is laughable) or Baton Pass to them.

are you so ignorant that you cannot see where any one is coming from? or are you stuck in the in-game cart where people never switch, and it is as simple as A counters B, C counters B etc.
this is different, team synergy is needed, so that you can counter your own counters etc. anyone who uses marowak would obviously use a water counterer, it's common sense, something which you seem to lack in large amounts

people do switch, and when marowak is out against say, tyranitar, marowak uses bonemerrang on your switch to milotic, right? with me?

jolly marowak's max atk bonemerrand to milotic does 55% damage

so basically milotic is 2hko'd then i just switch wak back out, then later in the battle milotic can't switch back in or it dies.

plus Jolly marowak is actually 1 point faster then the STANDARD NETBATTLE MILOTIC

i'm not saying marowak should be OU, but it is in no position to be down-graded, that would be like sending rhydon into UU, just not right, and not gonna work

just like to say that mirror coat wouldn't effect houndoom so in that case wobba fails

but then you still switch out, and besides there needs t be a sacrifice to get that pokemon in there in the first place, meaning wobba has served it's purpose by forcing the opponent to sacrifice a pokemon just to get a glimer of hope, as to countering wobbafett, only to have that dissappear when i switch wobba out of play
