TEN: A Pokemon Face-Off Series

Hey all, I'm YellowHat if you don't remember me from 6 years ago when I first started creating Face-Offs here at SPPf. In fact, this is my first face-off since 2010. It's good to be back.​

So here's how this is gonna work. First, some ground rules:

THE RULES:

1. Please follow all SPPf rules, particularly FO forum rules.
2. Do not tally unless you are designated an Official Tallyist by me (don't worry, it's not a hard position to get, you just have to ask first).
3. Familiarize yourself with the voting method. Also be aware of any changes made to the method from FO to FO.
- PLEASE NOTE: If you do not follow the proper voting method, I'll warn you the first time, then report you the 2nd time. But don't worry, I know the difference between an honest mistake and a blatant disregard for the rules. I promise I'm nice.
4. Please make an honest effort to delete any double posts you happen to make.
5. Conversational posts are allowed between FO's, just don't let it get out of hand. I will, of course need plenty of suggestions and feedback from you guys as to what we should do for future FO's.

Alright, formalities aside, let's get started.
You may find yourself asking, "YellowHat, what's the TEN mean?"

(THE FOLLOWING IS A DRAMATIZATION OF HYPOTHETICAL EVENTS)

You: YellowHat, what's the TEN mean?
Me: Why, it's a number my good fellow!
You: But... What does it mean HERE?
Me: Why, that's the number of votes you get each time you post to do with as you please!

(END DRAMATIZATION)

That's right, 10 votes every post. Posts will be every 6 hours for now. I'll be watching your post times to be sure, of course, but for the most part we're on an honor system here.

So here's an example.

Permitted Votes: (these may vary from FO to FO)
+ health
- health

Pikachu - 10
Bulbasaur - 10
Charmander - 10
Squirtle - 10
Dunsparce - 10

You can vote like this:
+3 Pikachu
+1 Bulbasaur
-2 Charmander
-4 Squirtle

That adds up to 10 votes total, see? And you can do any combination you like! It just had to equal 10.

Another acceptable vote would be:
+10 Dunsparce

See? 10. It's that easy. When voting, it is especially helpful if you keep your plus-votes together and your minus-votes together. This is not a requirement, but I encourage you to do so.

What's even going on right here? 5? That's not 10. This vote would be disregarded and the voter would be ISSUED A WARNING before being reported to a mod for a 2nd offense.

OFFICIAL RULE CHANGE since it's early enough that people haven't gotten used to it. Voting will be every 6 hours, so you can vote up to 4 times a day. Just no double posting.

I'm glad. Only thing I'm debating on is the period between votes. While I don't want it to be a "post whenever you want" thing (because it would be too easy to spam +/- 10's), I also don't want to alienate people by making it too long.
So how does everyone (all two of you so far) feel about 6 hours? Too long? Just right?
