Tengan Mountain theory

I think that in the U.S. versions of the game, it'll be renamed Tengam Mountains, because, if you look, TENGAM is MAGNET backwards! Only magnetic pokemon, like ;082; and ;299; evolve there, and ;462; and ;476;'s dex entries say that they evolved under strong magnetic fields, and they emit them, too. Do you think I'm right?

I don't think it's that obvious at all. Rock Tunnel isn't obvious then?

It's a good theory, and I think you're right. And, after all, Japanese translations are a bit risky, so Tengan Mountain could allready be Tengam Mountain. (Risky > like Dorapion/Drapion etc. Or Gregurru/Gregru)

Agreed. Also, I'm surprised I didn't see something like this earlier.

I may have done if I had remembered that Nosepass evolved there too, not just Magneton. I just love Jibacoil too much to care. :p

Anyway, good theory. Explains everything.

But now something very weird. Why does both Jibacoil and Dianose have three magnets on them? Dianose has the "Small noses" and Jibacoil has three magnets to. Does Tengam Mt. have to do with this? Or just a mediocre coincidence that I am stupidly trying to make it intresting?o_O

But really, I would have never noticed. But Tengan sounds better than Tengam. I like Japanese names better.

They probably intentiaonally changed the name, since Tengam does sound rather silly.
