They're okay at best. Nothing really completely shining. Although Advanced Adventure was fun.

Don't need to see any movies, seeing as I have the game imported anyways. ;\

Just remember, Kojiro, "Tenkaichi" isn't actually a Budokai game but rather a different game series that Atari felt like slapping the Budokai logo on just to get it to sell in the US.

Sagas was horrendous. That's why American developers shouldn't be allowed to touch Japanese franchises and vice-versa. >_>;

I liked Advanced Adventure.

But other than that, I've never really enjoyed DBZ games.

Of course, I'll probably play Tenkaichi 2 anyways, if for no reason but because a friend of mine who is obsessed with all things DBZ will make me play it with him.

Not sure I fully agree on the "vice versa" thing. I mean Tiny Toons games from Konami/Treasure and the Mickey Mouse games handled by Capcom were more of a reason to outsource western franchises to Japan.

Just that nowadays we don't make a lot of good franchises worth having developed in Japan...save for Avatar, that series is too good to be defiled by THQ.

I was speaking on a broader range. :p

Better then you
I'll be getting Tenkaichi 2 when it comes to the US. But I did like Budukai 3 the most. Me and my friend were equally matched...until I was playing as Kid Buu.

I will be getting DBZ Tenkaichi 2. I agree, Sagas was the worse DBZ game I ever played (aside from Taiketsu)

I enjoyed the first Tenkaichi, and honestly preffered it to Budoukai 3, so I'm hoping this second installment proves to be an even bigger improvement in DBZ games.

Tag team mode was finally added, which is nice.

Belgian Waffles!!!
I've played the entire budokai series so of course I will be getting this.

Once again, it's not a Budokai title, regardless of what Atari tries to tell you. ;\ So do not treat this or the previous game as installments of the Budokai games.

I am the game
The only dbz game i liked was legendary super warriors on GBC

Powerplay Champion
Hmmm, i liked budokai... but i played tenkaichi, and i hated the controls

Tenkaichi finally got rid of the bland generic 3-D fighter system that the Budokai trilogy had, and gave us gameplay that could provide a decent DBZ-like experience.

Sparking doesn't translate because the majority of the US fanbase won't get the reference.

Wonder whose fault is that?

What's funny is that most people see the name and think it's spelled "Sparkling" and assume it's a "gay" title.

But then again, I know of several people who can't even spell "Tenkaichi" or "Budokai" properly. Most people don't even know what the hell those words stand for.
