The Rising Volt Tacklers have arrived at the Blueberry Academy in Unova, a school where Pokémon battles are very popular. When there, they meet Lacey of the Blueberry Elite Four who gives them a tour of the Terarium under the academy where they also meet up with Anne and Nemona. This leads to Roy getting his firt battle with Nemona in a while. Who will win?

Yes, thank God! About time Roy and Shillcario got put in their place!

Couple of thoughts after watching that episode

1. Just as I thought, the random Roy & Nemona battle was to set up Drayton training Crocalor (I guess he's gonna teach Roy and his croc not to try so hard? lol) and it's nice to see Blueberry does full Double Battles

2. Seeing how entertaining Lacey and Drayton were makes me really sad we aren't getting Crispin and Amarys for the full BB Elite 4 dynamic

3. We saw Auspicious Armor in the new opening so Charcadet is 100% evolving during this arc and probably Gimmighoul too

4. If you still think Cap is gonna leave Friede for Roy after seeing the new op & ed... well I would've already called you delusional but it's really obvious that's not happening now

I might be looking too much into it but that Brave Olivine Snorunt is quite in the centre of its scene. Hoping it plays a bigger role

Spirit Shuckles is quite broken now;-) Hau's Deciduye should take lessons from Nemona's.

Imagine Nemona getting a Z-ring at some point. Funny how 2/3 of her Pokemon are Alolan.

From what I saw, they only mentioned their roles as E4 members at the very end when the RVT bowed and said nothing else about it... hope they at least mention the other two

Nah, Ash's Rowlet just needs to be nerfed and not treated as something special. I've never liked it, to be honest. Especially after the Alola League.

Not yet, but by the next episode, I think that'll be established, since we see Drayton fighting Roy in the Polar Biome.

I like Lucario, but I don't mind it losing here.

Also, see, Dendra?! This is what a Double Battle is supposed to like! Defeating both opponents is the point, not just one, like you kept insisting!

Oh my giddy aunt, Nemona finally gets a win for a change. You go girl!

Pretty good start to the Blueberry Academy visit and it's nice to see both her and Anne again as well as both Lacey and Drayton making their debut and they're both off to a decent start.

Looks like we'll be seeing Penny and Carmine next week too.

Gotta be honest though... it sucks seeing so much of Nemona and Penny in Horizons but Arven only has a voiceless cameo so far... I know he has nothing to offer the RVT but still...

I’m glad they finally ditched that ridiculous rule of only having to defeat one pokemon in a double battle.
