• Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.

Hi... It's me, blueguy, the user who has brought you such suggestions as a Comic Café and better layouts... but this request is more practical, I think...

Okay, so here's the deal... I like pokémon... in fact I love it, but I don't like, and certainly wouldn't love it if someone in the same room saw pokémon-related images sometimes... Yes, I am embarassed and would like to keep it a secret.

Is there any way in which a text-only layout could be introduced, which wouldn't show images? This would be useful for situations in which you don't want others to see just what kind of a forum you're on, you know?

I understand completely if this isn't possible, or can't be implemented, but I think it would be useful, to me, and possibly others.

In the User CP you can set it to disable sigs & avatars

Happy Style also has a minimal amount of Pokémon Avatars

Apart from that, if you're viewing something such as Fan Fiction, you could just use the archive, which doesn't display avatars or sigs or the three little pictures at the top anyway (also shortening load-time for dial-up connections)

Well... along with disabling sigs and avatars, would it be possible for you to make a layout with the linked images at the top to just be text, and have the serebii forum markers be something generic? I don't think it would be too difficult, and it would be really useful...
