(OCC: Yeah… I couldn’t decide between Red-Tailed Hawk and Fox, So I flipped a coin. I dropped it, it hit the ground, and rolled under washing machine in my dorm >.> So I took that as I needed to choose a different animal. xD Also, typed all of this on an iPod and my thumbs gave out around "History". "I'll probably go back and add some more later (cause I know it isn't that much or that moderate quality-.-'')
Name: Felix Serin
Age:19
Gender:Male
Appearance:
-
Before: Felix stands about 6’0’’ and has an athletic appearance, as he runs just about every day. He has brown-black, medium/short hair which is always in a mess no matter what; although, the hair on the front of his head sticks up naturally. A pair of orange-lensed sports glasses usually covers his deep blue/silver eyes. On the rare occasions they don’t, they rest on the top of Felix’s head.
As for clothes, Felix wears a dark red shirt, a blue zip-up sports jacket, and a pair of black jeans. He also wears two “Livestrong” bands on his left wrist, one yellow and one blue.
During: As Felix progresses further into his transformation, he begins to grow a soft coat of fur, almost like the pelt of a puppy. It’s caramel with a black “splotch” on his back, cream-colored on his stomach, and tan on his groin to his upper thighs. Meanwhile, the palms of his hands have become more rough and calloused and his nails become darker.
His ears were the first to change, already completing their transformation within the first day, and taking their respective place on top of Felix’s head. They are covered in tan fur, with the tips being black. Felix’s face slowly begins to push out into a snout, his teeth also changing to be more suited for carnivorous meals. Moreover, the beginnings of a tail sprouts from Felix’s lower spine.
Felix’s tongue is becoming flatter and longer as well, he often finds himself panting when he gets hot, especially as his sweat glands begin to disappear. As an additional result of his bigger tongue, he sometimes has trouble speaking. He also finds himself letting out a low guttural growl when annoyed. Thousands of new scents begin to infiltrate his nose as his senses become more acute, often distracting him. He has begun picking things up, such as sticks, and carrying them in his mouth as well.
Clothing for Felix begins to come uncomfortable; he begins to shed more of it. While the red shirt is gone, replaced by his cream colored underbelly, Felix still wears his jeans, jacket, and sunglasses.
After: Science has created the perfect mutt, a mix between a German Shepherd and a human. Felix is now covered in head to toe with a dog’s fur, his entire back, sides, and thighs being black, and the rest, tan; the coloration now completely matching the coloration of a German Shepherd. The coffee-colored fur on his chest now puffier, and his chest barrels out a little more. His face has changed completely, now having a full muzzle (complete with a black dog’s nose and full canine teeth) covered in black fur. However, his hair still retains it’s length, texture, and style.
Felix’s hands, while retain the thumb, now have pads on his palms and tips of his fingers. Also, his human nails have fallen out, replaced by black claws. His feet, however, now only have four toes, and have taken a very dog-like shape, now basically paws. Felix now stands on (what use to be) his toes, bringing his height up to about 6' 2''. His legs are also more canine like. His neck has also become more muscular and dog like.
A full tail of a German Shepard has also sprouted from the base of his spine, often portraying his emotions even when he wants to hide them.
His eyes have remained unchanged since his transformation, retaining their blue-silver color.
Felix has now shed the blue jacket as even that has become too uncomfortable. He keeps the blue pants and sunglasses as an attempt at both modesty and keeping some humanity.
Many new emotions and feelings begin to infiltrate Felix’s mind as his unnatural transformation comes to a closure. He has begun to pick up more habits of his species. A few times, when not paying attention, he finds himself panting, sniffing around the air. He even has began to chase his own tail and bark at cats and strangers (given the chance, he would go after the mailman too)
By this stage in the transformation, he has mastered speaking with a flatter tongue and muzzle.
Personality:
His friends always come before himself, that’s the kind of person Felix is and has always been. Their well being often triumphs his own, no matter what the situation. Perhaps sometime he is a little overprotective, and has gotten into fights and squabbles over the most mundane and miniscule of things. He is loyal to the end to the people he cares about, his transformation just begins to take that to the next stage.
Felix tends to be indiscriminate towards strangers, but will do anything for his friends.
However, if competition is involved, Felix’s overprotection dissolves like sugar in water. He’ll do anything to win. Anything.
Bravery is Felix’s best attribute, almost to the point where it is foolhardy. He will willingly jump into any situation, no matter what the cost, the outcome, or even the chances. Audacious and
bold, he will project leadership as much as he can.
Modesty is something Felix tends not to understand. He constantly boasts about his personality, his intelligence, and his good looks (whether any of these exist are up to the interpreter). On some occasions, this makes him come off as a jerk.
As his transformation progresses, Felix begins to act more and more like the mutt he is becoming (Appearance section for specifics). However, he is sensitive about his transformation. Whenever someone makes a pun towards him or his changed self, he immediately becomes hostile.
Felix has never been the most focused person (even before his transformation), often becoming distracted or drifting off into though. “Oblivious” in some situations, he is not the kind of person you want to keep guard at night.
When he is alone, Felix takes out a small pocket notebook and pencil, and just writes. Whatever comes to mind, whether it be creative, descriptive, or just stream of conscious, he will paint on the paper with the vivid words of a poet. However, he tries to keep this as secret as possible, and doesn’t allow anyone to see it. He also has a bad habit of chewing on pencils.
Felix isn’t very superstitious or religious, and identifies himself as agnostic (
and therefore only drinks agnostic drinks such as Dr.Pepper and Diet- *Shot* [+10 points for reference]).
History:
Felix, for the most part, was normal. He was born in the suburbs of Richmond, VA to a middle class family. At a young age, he was placed in a private school, his parents doing whatever they could to pay for it. Throughout schooling, he was a good student, athlete, and friend, his motivation being gratification for what his parents were doing for him. Granted, sporadic pranks and brawls did put him in trouble, but nothing more than a detention or a scolding. Around the town he was in, Felix built quite the reputation for himself. He surrounded himself with a few really close friends throughout his years, doing the same when he headed off to a small college in the mountains.
After settling in, he and a few friends decided to go hiking. They packed their bags and headed into the wilderness. After a few hours, they found an immaculate campsite next to a river. There, the fished, played, and relaxed, Felix just enjoying their company.
On the second morning, Felix awoke to a rustling outside his tent. The first out to investigate, as soon as he opened the flap, he was smacked in the face, immediately blacking out.
Transformation: German Shepherd (Dog)
