Revolution Release/ Download Servace Takes Shape.

In an interview with Japanese Newspaper Sankei Shinbun, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said that the Revolution Console will be out in America by Thanksgiving. "We can't disclose the Revolution's release Period yet, but we have no plans to missout on the year-end sales battle. As for North America, we need to release it by thanksgiving, oterwise, we won't receive suppoet from the retail industry. So the Revolution will be relesed prior to that Perios." Nintendo is expected to revel more about the Revolution's Debut this May at E3.

While Launch particulars of the consol are slowly taking shape, Ninten is also formulationg its plans for allowing Revo players to play Old Nintendo and Thirdparty games on the platform. The company has commisssioned a marketing servay to gauge the public intrest in structure and pricing for the games Download service dubbed the Virtual Console. The servay also asked about pricing for the system itself and asked people if theyed buyit within the first 12 months if it was priced within the 199$-299$ Range.

the Servay inquired about the three possible options for playing old Ninten games: Buying, Rentinf, and subscripition. Some N64 games were listed as high as 19.99$ but most titles for NES, SNES and N64 were cheaper. If purchased, the titles would be stored in the systems Memoey. Rentals would be offrednfor a spicific amount of time and an all-you-can-rent oprion for 14.99$ is another choice listed. Fianly, a monthy subscruption fee could be paid, after witch, you could play any game while you contine to pay for your subscription.

In regards to the payment thing:

Do you really think Nintendo can just give some of their classics away just like that? And do you think Broadcom is being nice and offering Nintendo WiFi service for free?
I knew it was somthign i didnt get, but with the system rnning at about 200$, you would think they could put that in the price, unless thats me just not understanding the complex business world again
