Come one, come all, and welcome to the spectacular 1st Annual Cup of Legends, and I am your M.C., UDK, speaking on behalf of The Legacy, the host of this dazzling tournament. Now, let’s get to the details.
First of all, what is this? Well of course, it is a tournament, meaning that a total of 64 participants will be pit up against each other, designed by The Legacy to weed out the weak and discover who truly are the best, the “top dogs” if you may.
Next, why should I join this tournament? Haven't you always wanted to test your skills and see what you’re really capable of? Well, in this tournament, I can guarantee you WILL be tested. And as compliments of participating, everyone who plays by the rules (we don’t like rule breakers), will receive a consolation prize. One that, might I say, is worth the trouble of playing.
Did I hear “a free prize”? Why yes, you have understood correctly. Each player, may he/she win or lose, as long as he/she has played by the rules will receive a consolatory prize from us, as a “thank you” for playing.
OK, cool, but are there other prizes? Oh yes, most certainly. In addition to the consolatory prize, each round after it until the Finals receives another prize in addition to the one before. The top 3 will each have their own Grand Prize too. And finally, if you lose, you may be drawn as winner of that Round’s Lotto, which means you will gain another prize. We also do this for the Top 3. By the end of the tournament, if you make it to the Top 3, you will gain 8 or so Pokemon. Sweet deal, huh? And, as a bonus, if you are a member of The Legacy, you will gain a bonus of 100 points to use within our very own GenLab to purchase various services and Pokemon, plus an extra 75 points for each round you make it through. For example, let’s say you make it through 3 rounds of the tournament. You are guaranteed 4 Pokemon, and 325 points, with the chance of possibly winning one more Pokemon. If I were you, I’d join up with The Legacy now, because the rewards just keep adding up!

1. Comply to the rules of this tournament or you will be exiled from the activities.
2. Adhere to the Battle Clauses following these Rules.
3. Have sportsmanship! One strike will result in a warning, the 2nd, a ban from this year’s tournament.
4. Please no hacks. Many of us take pride in using entire teams of legit Pokemon.
5. We do have a Tournament chat set-up, with a link to it in my sig. Please refrain from using obscene or profane language, as we may have “young ears” participating in the tournament.
6. Do NOT leak the teams of various Trainers into the public. Yes, it is allowed to switch teams mid-Tournament, but please, let’s have some honor here. Wouldn’t you want the same?
7. As stated before, you may switch/modify teams mid-Tournament.
