Within the begginig of the times has somebody once make this 4 questions:

1:Of where the pokemons where born I thing there should be aliens that bring pokemons or they grow with the dinosaurs and they just survive.

2:How could they envolve like that? even the dinosaurs evolution like the pokemons do.

3The most weird of all)How could pokemons enter in that ball tracked by a red beam it´s particles blow or something like that.

4:How can they thing and understand the human languaje(I thing that is chinese)

I am not against pokemon but that are the mystery and everything has a mystery.If somebody knows the answer talk.

The human language would be Japanese since Pokemon is made in Japan.

I remember that pokemon are from another planet and an UFO brang all of them here and in 3 to 3 years the aliens send us more (the italic part I created, because new pokemon are released from 3 to 3 years) (or all or just clefaries? I think that were just clefaries..)

hummm, all pokemon are diferent there are no predecessor, or sucessor, you THINK that they are brighting, but in the real case the pokemon make an ilusory thing that the current pokemon run and one new appears (the worst answer, I know..)

it´s a high tecnology, VERY high tech. and it´s japan, they create so many things that one pokeball migh exist...

First of all, the "human" language is "Japanese" not "Chinese". Second, they just do, that's all.

Pokemon is a made-up fantasy world, you can't expect everything to make sense.

First things first, dinosaur evolution is trash, i dont believe in it for my religious beliefs, second, how does magic work? it doesnt. its all part of imagination just have some fun, who cares about the laws of science

Did somebody say, "SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATIONS"?!?!

1) Depends on how pokemon (theoretically) came to exist - after all, there are many different ideas for this. I don't see how pokemon could have evolved there, not because I don't believe in evolution (I do, but I won't complain*) but because humans exist there as well, and therefore wouldn't humans have lots of attacks and whatnot as well? Most likely they live on an alternate version of our planet where aliens have brought pokemon and alien technology (pokeballs) to earth along time ago (a few thousand years, hence ancient pokemon and ruins, etc). They then proceeded to wipe out virtually all other forms of life, save humans, who learned to control them with the alien technology. Therefore, pokemon are either the result of A) advanced alien genetic work or B) evolution on a far distant planet where different circumstances allowed abilities like firebreating, etc. to evolve. I may go more into depth later.

2) Partially excluded by my first answer, but later I'll try to come up with a long post attempting to explain it anyway.

3) This is indeed alien technology, and all evidence points to one conclusion: when pokemon are retracted into the pokeball, they are transformed into energy and stored as data. I apologize for the digimon similarities, but it is the only solution, and pokemon are actually very much like digimon in many respects - apparently, even down to their core essence (partially). They must become energy or data, otherwise the pokeball would weigh as much as the pokemon (You caught a snorlax! Good luck getting the ball to the PC!) There was also that episode of pokemon (the banned one) where they were transformed into data and entered the pokeball lines, thus proving that the tecnhology is available in the pokemon world, and that this is probably what is used for pokeballs as well. This would also explain why you can use cd's (TMs) to download data into the pokemon. when the pokemon is absorbed, its data is scanned into the pokeball and its mass transformed into energy (not sure about that one). When they are released, the data is used to reform the energy/reform the pokemon out of nearby mass.

4) Not sure about this one...I think they are automatically programmed through the pokeball to understand human speech, as well as to not run away from or attack the trainer (and obey them - usually).

You'd think that there'd be a clear answer through a combination of the show, the games and the manga after several years, but all the clues were so vague that all you can do is guess... so yeh, I guess you shouldn't think about it TOO hard

They just evolved along a different pathline then humans and other animals. And normal animals DO exist in the pokemon world, so I think that that is the most plausible answer.

Because this isn't evolution. Evolution is a slow change that happens from generation to generation. What pokemon do is simply growing up. They don't evolve or something, they just grow up. That's why they become bigger and stronger.

I think that pokeballs don't catch pokemon, they just copy their data. Whenever a wild pokemon is weakened enough, a pokeball can be thrown and it will attach to the pokemon. If the pokeball remaines attached long enough without the pokemon breaking it, the pokeball is able to copy all the data of the pokemon. If it is finished, all pokemon exept for Missingno flee away. That way the number of pokemon in the wild always stays the same and no pokemon specie will ever be extinct.
So the pokemon inside the pokeball isn't really the real pokemon, just some sort of hologram. And that is also why TMs and HMs say: "TM .. is booted up" and that is why they look like CDs. Mind that this only works for the games and not the Anime or Manga.

If my last theory is true, then the program just gets updated to understand the name of the attacks.

Well done feebass factor.*claps* I only have one thing to add. You could elaberate on 4. The real answer is...the same way animals understand and listen to us, Except for the fact that their brains are far more intelligent then animals due to them being raised by alians in a paralell dimension. This means they dont need much training to listen to their master. I believe their trainer's voice is eventually implanted into their brain. When the pokemon grows yoo strong and is on a high level, they dont lose this data, they simply chose to ignore it.
