~Simple and Clean~
Oh hooray it's back!!! *runs to dig out old sign-up*

Name: Caroline “Carrie” McBrillon
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Job: Breeder
Specialty: Fire-type breeding, with a touch of dark and/or fighting.

Description: Carrie stands at a relatively average height for a woman, around five foot five. She has long, curly dark hair that cascades down to her mid-back. She usually keeps it pinned back in a pair of french braided pig-tails. She usually wears a variety of dark colors. She dislikes the Rocket Uniform, so she doesn’t wear it, however she likes to wear dark colors to blend in with the others and their uniforms. She’s usually in a dark navy blue or purple. She very rarely wears any colors, but when she does, it has a tendency to bring out that rosy tone of her normally pale skin. Carrie almost always wears dark jeans, and over top of those she has the same pair of dark boots. They hold her knife, and make a trademark clacking noise when she walks.

Carrie usually has a few whispy bangs that hang down over her eyes. Her eyes are a vivid icy green, and they tend to stand out a little bit due to her thick, dark lashes. Along the bridge of her nose and her cheeks are a few very faint freckles remaining from her childhood. Overall her face is a natural sort of pale, not the pale induced by make-up. Carrie barely wears any make-up, occasionally indulging in a little bit of eyeliner or eye shadow when she wants to feel pretty. Her eyebrows are a little bit too bushy, and she has been known to get comments about how they look like caterpillars, but she simply doesn’t care.

Personality: Carrie is a sweet, overly compassionate girl. She enjoys what she does, and she enjoys helping out people by selling them Pokemon for a relatively low price. Carrie believes that you can find joy in whatever you do, and that you can always make it better. Her seering optimism and accepting nature often chase people away. No one wants to spend much time with the “Positive Polly”. Carrie pretends on the surface that she doesn’t mind, but she does crave friendship, especially since her former partner Andrew rejected her. She misses him greatly and shies away from anything that reminds her of him... especially the song Sweet Caroline. It was “their song”. Due to the heavy burden and loss she carries on her chest, Carrie has become a little bit obsessive compulsive. She performs several rituals every morning, such as putting on exactly five strokes of mascara on each eye, and chanting little inspirational quotes to herself.

Carrie has developed a bit of an inferiority complex since her stint with the government. She is very sensitive about her obessive compulsive traits, and especially the nervous ticks she has developed since Andrew. She bites her nails down to tiny nubs, and hides them behind her back so no one can see them. She is often seen grabbing at the edges of her shirt or twiddling her fingers, but she always hides these from people as soon as she notices that they’re watching. She has an extreme fear of people judging her because of her past, and often gets very upset whenever anyone mentions it.

Carrie hides her insecurities fairly well, in her opinion. She spends most of her time smiling and acting like everything in Carrie land is all wonderful and great. She often delves into her work whenever she’s upset (which is most of the time) so she has a wonderful work ethic and pace. She hides under her work, preferring to be known as cheerful Carrie the breeder than “that moody chick that used to work for the government”. One thing that she did bring with her from her position is her extremely good sense of observation. The investigative position she held absolutely drilled observation skills into her. Due to this she is a fairly good people reader and can often tell when she’s being lied to.

History: Carrie grew up in the Sinnoh region with her mother and father and younger sister. It was a generally peaceful, typical childhood. She had a pet Torchic, was forced to take piano lessons, do dance, the whole nine yards. Her mother was a flute professor at the local college, and so Carrie was forced into flute lessons, but she never fell in love with flute the way her mother had. Music was a little bit dull and boring to Carrie. She had a different passion: Pokemon. She was fascinated by things like moves and fur colors, and all sorts of things. Carrie took human biology and tried to apply it to Pokemon. After a series of AP Biology classes in high school, and a stint in college as a biology major, Carrie followed the advice of her government loving mother. She applied for an investigative position with the government.

As a young “investigative agent” she was paired with a great team and a great partner, who just so happened to be into her. They gave her a gun and a fancy badge. But then Carrie went out on her first investigation, where she was told to put down a Houndoom. She’d been unable to do it. She released the Houndoom to the wild and afterwards wrote a faked report saying that she’d killed it. But after she got over the initial horror of putting down a Pokemon, an idea started to blossom. What if she could save these Pokemon? Since she was the junior field agent, she was made to do all of the “dirty work” and no one was there to watch her. She started smuggling the doomed Pokemon out, at first releasing them to the wild, then keeping them, and eventually beginning to use them to breed new Pokemon. Carrie was absolutely fascinated by them.

In the end, she ended up falling hard for her strictly by-the-book partner Andrew. It wasn’t uncommon for members of the teams to fall for, and even marry their partners or colleagues, but for Carrie and Andrew it was unusual. She fell for him, despite her intense fear that he’d find out what she’d been doing with all the Pokemon. And he did. Instead of arresting her, knowing that she would be locked away in jail forever, with no money due to the very recent death of her mother, he let her go on one condition: that she leave the region and never come back. He never wanted to see her again.

With a broken heart and a shiny government badge, Carrie took off and escaped to Kanto, where she currently raises and breeds Pokemon for Team Rocket. They were a bit hesitant to accept her, but seeing that she had overall knowledge of how the government worked (and a government issued badge and gun) they allowed her to join.

Equipment: Carrie carries a knife in her boot. She can slide it out easily and stealthily. She also carries a generic government-issue handgun... she doesn’t know the type, however she’s a decent shot. She prefers to use her knife.

Pet: Ember the Chimchar

Other: She detests the song Sweet Caroline.

Pokémon:
Name: Ember
Gender: Female
Age: 5
Species: Chimchar
League: 0

Description: Ember is a tiny creature, standing at only one foot three inches tall. She was bred for agility and speed, hence her tiny size. She has silky orange fur that is a bit longer than a normal Chimchar’s. Her face is a light yellow that’s almost white, with red rings around her big green eyes. She has a small burning flame on her tail end that goes up to about her mid-back.

Personality: Ember is a happy little soul. She acts like a little kid, often hanging off of Carrie’s shoulder and chattering incessantly into Carrie’s ear, despite the fact that Carrie can’t understand a word she’s saying. She has a burning, intense curiosity, which is always causing her to wander off and find trouble. Whenever Ember does encounter trouble, she usually starts to tear up and cry. She’s a very sensitive little monkey.

History: Carrie traded a young Torchic for Ember around a month ago. Ember is Carrie’s newest Pokemon, so not much has happened since she joined Carrie and her team. Ember is currently in training for the races and for battles, where she’ll hopefully be able to evade anything thrown at her.

Other: Ember treats Sophia as her older sister, so she’s often seen following the Blaziken around and chattering about her “Mommy Carrie”.

Name: Galway
Gender: Male
Age: 50
Species: Chatot
League: 1

Description: Galway is a tiny parrot-like Pokemon. He has a dark black head shaped like an eighth note. On this head are his squinty little eyes and his beak, always set in a sort of frown of disapproval. HIs feathers are faded and old, the blues, greens, and yellows just not as bright as they used to be. The ring of white feathers around his neck are dirty and worn. They flop down farther than a usual Chatot’s do. His little metronome tail is always flopped and down. It never keeps the beat like it used to.

Personality: Galway is an angry, unhappy Pokemon. He still mourns the loss of his “mother”, who was Carrie’s mother too. He views Carrie as a pesty little sister and won’t follow her orders in battle, or really ever. He is both loud and proud, always singing and shrieking at inappropriate times just to spite Carrie. Underneath all of his vibrato though, he is just a lost, bitter little Pokemon who lost his mother and trainer.

History: Galway was Carrie’s mother, Lucy’s pet. He lived with her from when she was about twenty-five until the day she died. Lucy left Galway to Carrie, knowing that Carrie would always take care of her misguided pet.

Other: His favorite song to sing is, ironically, Sweet Caroline. He “speaks” English, but only in song form. He also doesn’t battle. He’s too disobedient for that.

Name: Sophia
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Species: Blaziken
League: 3

Description: Sophie stands at about 6’5”, which is a bit taller than your average Blaziken. She has a very muscular build, since she was bred for strength. She is covered in dark red, almost maroon feathers that cover most of her body. Her feet are covered in mustard yellow feathers. Beneath her fluffy feathers are sharp claws, which she also has on her scaly, scarred arms. Her big blue eyes are a bit cloudy from injuries occuring in battle.

Personality: Sophia is fiercly loyal to Carrie. She never disobeys an order in battle, since she believes that Carrie is always right. She follows Carrie around and believes that she can do no wrong. Sohphia would do absolutely anything for her trainer if she believed it was in Carrie’s best interest. She has a fiery temper, which she uses to her advantage in battle. If anyone bad-mouths Carrie (especially if its Galway), she’ll spit a good flamethrower at them.

History: Carrie obtained Sophia as a small girl. As a Torchic, Sophia was Carrie’s pet. She often brought Sophie along to crime scenes, to show her different things that she’d learned about biology and crimes. After fleeing to Kanto, Carrie started battling Sophia, allowing her to evolve first to a Combusken, and then to a Blaziken.

Other: Sophia is Carrie’s main battling and breeding Pokemon. She has produced many good Torchics, bred for both strength and speed.

Name: Yankee
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Species: Shiny Rapidash
League: 2

Description: Yankee is simply a very large horse. He stands at about five foot seven, roughly the same height as Carrie. He has a soft yellow body, so light that it’s almost white in coloration. He has two large ears a-top of his head, along with a long, ponty horn. His entire body is covered in streaming silver flames, most of them working to form his mane and his tail. There are also some flames down by his dark black hooves. He is often seen in a flame-retardant gray saddle, since Carrie enjoys riding Yankee around the race track when no one’s around to see her.

Personality: Yankee is a flighty sort of Pokemon. He loves to run, and can’t stay in one place for a very log time. He has been known to crack under pressure, more often than not because he is afraid and insecure. He has trouble battling and he got to League two simply by luck. Yankee has trouble doing a lot of things, due to his insecurity. He lives to please Carrie and often tries to beat out her other Pokemon for attention. This often fails though, since Yankee’s “plans” are always quickly laid and poorly planned. Yankee just doesn’t have the patience for simple planning. He prefers to just go. He is after all, a race horse.

History: Yankee was the first Pokemon that Carrie obtained in Kanto. She found him as a young Ponyta in the wild, and chose to catch him using a forbidden Pokeball. However, Carrie was a bit insecure about training, which led to several insecurities in Yankee’s technique. She put him in the ring, but soon after discovered that his true talent lay in racing. She trained him up so that he would evolve and be faster.

Other: Yankee is fast... like really fast. Rapidash run at over a hundred miles per hour.

Arrogance
Name: Bartolomé Lanza
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Job: Breeder
Specialty: Breeding Rock/Ground type Pokemon
Description: Bartolomé stands at an average height of 5'9" tall, and weighs in at the average weight of 145 Lbs. His skin is pigmented a light Latino tan, obviously showing his genetic heritage. Bartolomé's face is clean shaven with his chin especially being quite squared off and distinct and his eyes possessing a dark brown color. Bartolomé's hair is a Jet Black, and has a visible shine to it, which is probably due to the amount of gel and product he puts into it. The hair is kept totally slicked back at all time when Bartolomé is awake, only becoming undone overnight while he is sleeping. His hairstyle combined with his clothing of choice successfully gives Bartolomé that "Slick Businessman" look, which is exactly what he wants.

When in public, Bartolomé is always sure to look as proper as possible, and to him this means wearing a suit and tie at all times. Bartolomé's suit was actually inherited from his father, and while it's not some sort of outlandish color, the suit as a distinctly vintage tone about it. Other than this the Suit is just like any normal business suit set. It's black, but not as black as Bartolomé's hair, and it's always paired with a crimson tie, which Bartolomé seemingly has limitless pairs of. Bartolomé's shoes are also Black and are well tied and well shined at all times.

Outside of the public eye, Bartolomé loosens up his attire a bit. He usually takes his suit jacket off to likely show a white button down shirt beneath. Because the pants of his suit don't actually fit him, he uses a pair of suspenders which are hidden by the suit jacket to hold them up. The left suspender has a holster sown onto it which contains Bartolomé's magnum in case a situation is to get hairy. While he tries his best to never smoke around clients, Bartolomé is addicted to cigarettes, and always his one dangling out of his mouth when away from public business.

Personality: Bartolomé is all about professionalism, and keeping a good and neat appearance in the public eye, even if what he does is illegal. Bartolomé always speaks in correctEnglish and acts with proper business sense and manners, and expects the same from his clients as well. While Bartolomé hates idiots and fools who have little to no intellect; he never turns down a client, especially if they can pay well, and usually has to keep his judgments about people within. Bartolomé's uptight and proper attitude, as well as his hated of stupidity stems from the lack of such things in his family, whom Bartolomé has severed ties with. Because he no longer communicates with his Mother, Father, or Brothers, Bartolomé is very repressive of his past, and prefers to not talk about how or even where he grew up.

Certainly no fool himself, Bartolomé has trained himself in the way of persuasive speech. The purpose of this being to make sure he's gets the most money off of each Pokemon he breeds. He's a fast talker and has the capacity to make even some of his more failed breeding jobs sound like a great buy. Thanks to this talent, Bartolomé as made wealth of money from his various breeding jobs, and therefore considers himself to be living proof of the idea "If you work hard enough, you can and will be successful". Anyone not on his level is considered by Bartolomé to either be content with their current position on the monetary ladder, or simply a bum. It could simply be said that Bartolomé is a sucker for Capitalism.

Bartolomé views breeding as a business and not as a mere hobby. He takes his work very seriously, almost too much so, and expects nothing less than the best bred Pokemon for his clients. This can lead for him to seem slightly uncaring to his Pokemon at times, but he always treats those that have been with him the longest with a certain respect and kindness. In the end however, it is important for one to always remember that Bartolomé never wanted to enter a field dealing with Pokemon, and never anticipated his closet compatriot to be a Krookodile.

When it comes to other humans outside of Buisness, Bartolomé usually keeps his distance. Strongly independent, Bartolomé has few to no real friends, only business acquaintances and peers in his field of work. This suits him just fine, as since a young age Bartolomé believes that people naturally backstab one another, and becoming close with somebody is merely walking into the trap of betrayal.

History: Bartolomé Lanza's story begins with him being born in the slums of Fuchisa city, and as such being born into poverty. Bartolomé was the youngest out of four brothers born to a struggling Latino family. His father was a construction worker who, due to his unusually lax ways of raising his sons, was unable to control them when they became teenagers. At the age of 8 Bartolomé saw his other three Brothers, all ages 14-16, become fall into gangs one by one. At the age of 10 Bartolomé heard that his oldest brother, Alfonso, was stabbed in a street brawl between two gangs. At this point his Parents tightened their authority over the family. But by the time Bartolomé himself had become a teenager, he already began to blame his father for not being able to control his brothers.

Because of his distance in age, Bartolomé didn't fall into the gang life his brothers were drawn to, and instead studied hard in school to become a part of the business world. His parents did the best they could to support his legitimate endeavors, but when he graduated Bartolomé already had decided that he would cut ties with his family by the time he graduated from college. Only needing what little money they had to get him to a school after high school. Ties were severed early however, when Bartolomé received a full scholarship to Blackthorn Business School, and as such didn't need their money after all. When Bartolomé walked out the door the day he left, he knew that was the last time he would have to see his hellhole neighborhood and his failure of a family again.

But legitimacy in Business would not stick with Bartolomé, as he persued his BBA, Bartolomé attended a particularly influential course in the business practices of the mafia. Intrigued by the success of some of these mobsters, Bartolomé took a similar course as a follow up, which further planted the seeds of organized crime in his brain. Once Bartolomé got out of College with his BBA, rather than pursue a masters, he delved into the underworld, and quickly found Breeding to be a potential goldmine of wealth.

Thus a new chapter in Bartolomé's life opened, he moved back to Kanto and obtained his first few Pokemon from a retiring Breeder. He bred his first pokemon, a Sandile which he named Montezuma, and has stuck with him as his greatest ally ever since. As Bartolomé rose through the echlons of the Underworld, he soon made a name for himself as an excellent Rock/Ground Breeder and began to work very closely with rocket, becoming a top breeder for them. With his profits, Bartolomé was able to integrate himself into the upper crust of Cleadon City, buying a swanky apartment there and distinctly is the only Latino in his complex. While what he does is illegal, Bartolomé never has or will say that he is a criminal, so as to distance himself from his Brothers. As he himself says,
"A criminal is a murderer, bottom feeder and thief, and these things which I have no will to be part of."

Equipment: Bartolomé carries a .44 Magnum in the holster attached to his left suspender. The gun was obtained through part of a Breeding deal.
Pet: Santo the Shiny Sandshrew

Pokémon:

Name: Montezuma
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Species: Krookodile
League: 3
Description: At 5'2" Montezuma towers over others in his species. The scales that cover his body are of a more scarlet hue than a crimson one, and are craggy and rough to the touch. His arms have more Muscle to them, and his physique to be compared to that of a heavyweight boxer.
Personality: Montezuma is, in a way, Bartolomé's hired muscle. He's Strong, Slient; save for a few low growls, and completely obedient. He has a good perception of things around him, and will not wait for a command from Bartolomé if he thinks that somebody might try and attack his master. Though as the same time, Montezuma would never even think of disregarding an order from Bartolomé. Sort of the ringleader of Bartolomé's Pokemon, Montezuma is usually keeping all of the others in line when it's time to get down to business.
History: Montezuma was the first pokemon bred by Bartolomé. The child of two Pokemon Bartolomé had bought from a retiring breeder, Montezuma quickly became indispensable to his master. At first the Sandile was trained only slightly, and his main use was being the male in most breeding pairs. But as soon as he evolved into Krokorok, Montezuma took on a two more roles as Bartolomé's bodyguard of sorts when in underworld meetings and as his strongest asset in battle.

Name: Sandista
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Species: Rhydon
League: 1
Description: Sandista bulkier and more heavyset Rhydon obviously bred for Defense. The Rock Plates that cover her body are incredibly sturdy being able to take quite a beating before showing even the slightest crack. Sandista has few more spikes covering the upper part of her body to deter attackers as well.
Personality: Pompus and slightly spoiled, Sandista has only known life as Bartolomé's top breeding Pokemon. While she may have inherited tank-like characteristics from her parents, Sandista has never fought, and instead has lived a life of attention and no hassles. As a result, Sandista is a very needy Pokemon and can become quite a burden when things don't go her way. Though she doesn't fight, as Bartolomé well knows, Sandista's rampages are something to fear. While she's almost as old as Montezuma in actual age, it should be noted that she is much younger on the maturity scale for the reason.
History: Another early pokemon bred by Bartolomé. Sandista hatched posthumously after the death of her parents from old age, who had been part of the original bunch Bartolome bought from the retiring breeder. Needing a new Pokemon to be his main baby making machine, Sandista was selected for the job, and has performed admirably ever since. Producing some amazing Rhyhorns for clients, usually with Montezuma's help. Sandista secured a spot as Bartolomé's second most important asset through this, coming only after Montezuma.

Name: Santo
Gender: Male
Age: 10
Species: Shiny Sandshrew
League: 1
Description: Only 1'9" Santo is short for his species, though this is due to his youth. His body is covered in a bright green plating which glimmers in the sunlight, along with his pair of bright blue eyes. Santo always has a cheery look on his face, and though bred to have sharper spikes, these qualities obviously cannot manifest themselves until he becomes a Sandslash.
Personality: Naive and Curious, Santo is always interested in what is going on around him. Because he isn't fully evolved, like Bartolomé's breeding pokemon, Santo is always kept out as a pet, and as such, has experienced much of the world. A fast learner by Pokemon standards, Santo is already proving to a obedient and skillful fighter for the future.
History: The first Shiny Bartolomé ever bred came quite late in his career for a breeder. Upon his hatching, Bartolomé quickly told his client that was supposed to receive Santo that he would pay to have the deal dropped. The client accepted, and thus Bartolomé got to keep Santo. Having looked for a second Battling Pokemon for a while up until this point, Santo started to be groomed by Bartolomé to fill this role when he evolved.

Name:Pendejo
Gender: Male
Age: 2
Species: Stunfisk
League: 0
Description: Floppy. There are few other words that better describe Pendejo. The thing seems to have two lazy eyes, either that or he simply cannot keep focused on anything. Pendejo always has a dimwitted smile on its face, even if its not discharging electricity.
Personality: Pendejo might very well be a mentally handicapped pokemon. Barely being able to move, fight, or do anything on its own Pendejo is merely a burden, and cannot even sucessfully complete a bunny course. Bartolomé despises this pokemon, but Pendejo cannot seem to comprehend that his master hates him.
History: A fluke. A failure. That is what Pendejo is. Spawned from a trading deal that fell through the floor, Bartolomé was stuck with a Pokemon so worthless that he took at as a stain on his name. Considering the fact that it cannot do anything right, Bartolomé has given thought several times to just killing Pendejo. Alas however, a little voice inside of him, perhaps a result of a Roman Catholic upbringing, keeps Bartolomé from going through with it.

Sophie S.

Well-Known Member
Trainer:
Name: Sophie Summers A.K.A Silver
Age: 26
Gender: female
Job: Headsman
Specialty: Equal in both Arena and Contest Ring

Description:

Appearance: Sophie stands at an imposing 5'10’’, with long silver hair that is tied up in a high ponytail, a fair complexion that has been sun-kissed for staying under the sun for long hours of training with her Pokémon, and silver eyes that were slightly slitted that reflect her audacity and cleverness, along with silver painted nails that were filed to look like claws that matches with her looks. She has a tear drop scar under her right eye and a long slash that covers her back diagonally and is mostly covered by her clothes, but noticeable if someone looks closely enough. She also sports minor scars on her arms and legs from the trainings, but they add to her feral looks, as well as the Seviper tattoo in her left arm.

Clothes: She wears a light blue sleeve-less shirt with a small black turtle neck which accentuates her figure, a white unbuttoned coat placed on top of it with the red letter “R” for Rocket sown in the breast pocket. She wears black fingerless gloves that reach up to her wrist but if stretched they reach just below her shoulders. A black belt is tied around the shirt loosely with a silver rectangular buckle that holds her pokeballs, and she wears loose baggy jeans and steel-toed combat boots with silver laces. When in contests, she likes to keep it simple, and wears a lovely silver dress that shows off her curves in a subtle way, complete with a scarf and silver pumps, with her hair let down in waves with a silver brooch in the shape of a Lugia.

Personality:

Sophie is a ruthless woman, with the looks and brains to back it up. Excluding her seniors, she is able to read the moves of those below her level, and come out winning without killing off the other’s Pokémon. Yes, she is ruthless, but to an extent and frowns upon the killings that happen inside the ring, although she has done some herself when she first came to Rocket. There are times though, especially when she has to track down people who don’t pay their bills or try to snitch them out to the authorities, she becomes cold and hard and takes no mercy from the ones she has to deal with…permanently. She has an air of superiority around her most of the time, and shows it when she rarely accepts requests for practice battles, giving out pointers to the ones lucky enough to battle her. She does have a soft spot though for baby Pokémon, but she lets no one know as she keeps a good façade for those emotions.

In contests, she is the same but is more calm and carefree about it. While she likes fighting more than showing off her Pokémon, contests come natural for her and always puts a small smile on her face when she wins. There are times when she loses, but she never backlashes at the winner, being the bigger person and congratulating them instead. She has faith in her Pokémon and views them as her family and partners, and respects her fellow Headsmen, as well as those few who respect their own Pokémon while battling. Overall, Sophie is a hardened mistress that takes pride in what she does, frowns upon what she thinks is wrong in her eyes, and is not afraid to show it to others.

History:

Sophie was born in Cerulean City under a wealthy family that loved her, since she was their only daughter. And since she was an only child, she was always smothered by them and they were always overprotective, only giving her a limited amount of time for going outside and play and homeschooling her, having little to no contact with other kids her age. She didn’t like it. She loved her parents, and that will never change, but she deserved her own freedom and protested this when she was only five years old. Her parents, although acted like that because they loved her, decided to give her a reprieve and the freedom she always wanted, but only if she had protection when she went outside. For this they went to a breeder that they knew very well and bought her an egg, and once it hatched she would be able to go out with the Pokémon. She didn’t hesitate when she got home with her brand new friend, being patient and doing everything in her hands to keep it warm and protect it from harm. She was excited when the egg started to crack, and a healthy Magby came out from the egg, warming up to Sophie instantly and becoming her first friend.

After that day she started to go outside more, and was lucky enough to make friends who also had baby Pokémon of their own. While she played with her friends, her Magby, which she named Flare, played with the other baby Pokémon, everything going well for them and her parents, although hesitant, couldn’t bear to take away what she had obtained. It wasn’t until she was 10 that her life would take a drastic turn for the worst. She was out with her friends for the day, leaving Flare at home with her parents, since she didn’t need that much protection anymore. When she returned back home, she was confused as to why the house was very empty, calling out to her parents and Flare. She was startled when she heard a scream and went outside to the backyard, stifling a gasp at the scene before her. Her parents were there, standing behind a frightened Magby, who had blood on its claws, and then directing her attention to the dead Pokémon in front of the group. Her parents explained in a rushed and frightened manner that Flare had killed the Pokémon because he thought that it was going to attack them, but noticed too late that it was one of the Pokémon from the neighboring house. She knew what would happen if someone found out about this, and her parents knew too, but they wouldn’t let it happen.

They wouldn’t allow for their child to be executed with her Pokémon, and so they called the breeder again for help. This breeder was actually part of Team Rocket, and they associated with her because they knew they would get the best Pokémon from her and were actually old acquaintances. That night they drove to Saffron, being careful not to get caught. When they arrived the woman was already waiting for them outside and took the now sleeping girl and her Pokémon, waking her up and saying their last tearful goodbyes to each other. When they left, the first thing that the breeder asked Sophie was that if she wanted her Magby to evolve, and the girl responded that he’s had opportunity to evolve, but she never wanted him to evolve for fear of him getting put down, and she liked him like that and disliked his other evolutions. This made the breeder nod and tells her that from now on she would not be showing any weaknesses, because the people there would target her for that. She also placed her in harsh training with her Magby because she knew the girl didn’t have the potential for being a breeder when she answered her question, and because Flare was too energetic for his own good.

Sophie at first didn’t like it, missing her family already after the first week and actually having to change her name so that the ones looking for her wouldn’t get suspicious. She went by the alias Silver, since it would fit with her looks, and there wouldn’t be any problems. The other problem that she had was that the people wouldn’t take her seriously because she only had a Magby as her Pokémon, which was considered a baby Pokémon even though he had participated in a few battles, which he lost brutally but was lucky to survive those times. She knew that if she wanted to fit in, she needed another Pokémon that was ruthless and able to fight. She knew she’d be able to get one from Almia (the breeder taking care of her), but the woman warned her because the Pokémon she breeds, excluding Flare, were designed to either battle, show themselves in contests, or for swiftness in the race courses. Sophie didn’t care, she only wanted the looks to stop and prove herself that even though she came from the high life, she was able to survive on her own in this danger-filled world…

Her first permanent scar came from training her newborn Pidgey, which she had named Rustle. She knew this would happen eventually, but never expected it when she was watching the egg hatch and went to cuddle the newborn. She was twelve at the time, two years prior from when she arrived, and she was in no way the same from when she arrived to Saffron. Sure the scar under her eye would never leave, but it represented the drive she had for gaining respect from her peers. Pidgey even grew to respect her, but that took much more time and effort, and trained him with Flare so that he could be strong enough to battle in the Arena. There was mostly losses when she entered battles, but those losses made her analyze and detect flaws and trained Rustle to erase those flaws, eventually evolving into a Pidgeotto after her 13th birthday. The battles entered were mostly wins now and she gradually gained the respect she deserved. Some of the money she earned went to Almia, wanting to repay her for what she has done for her, and grateful for it as well.

This went on until she was 16, and Sophie was now a proud owner of a Pidgeot, Magby, and the newly acquired Loppuny and Eevee she named Dahlia and Sasha respectively. She bonded with Dahlia quickly when she obtained her as a Buneary, just because Almia had bred her for contests instead of battles, and evolved quickly as well, still surprised that she was born a shiny. She did this because she had noticed at how Sophie would sometimes sneak from training and go to the contests, which she earned a flushed expression from the teen. Sasha on the other hand was fierce and wasn’t as accepting as her “twin.” Sophie liked to refer them as that because they acted like so, and were actually born on the same day and time. It took two more years for the normal Pokémon to open up to her trainer, evolving after Sophie took an Iron Claw attack to her back and earning the respect of her last Pokémon. It is known that Eevees can only evolve into Espeons when they are happy with their trainers, but Sasha evolved out of respect tinted with happiness she didn’t know she had for her trainer.

Sophie’s life had been good, with hardships, but good nonetheless. It was only when it took a turn for the worst when she decided to call her parents, wanting to know what had happened to them after they left her there. At first she was mad at them for leaving her here, but she knew it was for her own safety, and was glad for that, since it had made her into a strong young woman. She began getting nervous when they didn’t answer the first three times for three days, and went to Almia if she knew where they were. Then her suspicions grew worse when her mentor either ignored her questions or changed the conversation. It was after she had lost her patience that she cornered Almia with her Pokémon and demanded that she tell her where her parents were. At first, when she informed her that her parents were killed because they had helped her escaped, which someone had witnessed them leaving with her as young girl, she was paralyzed from shock and grief. It wasn’t until Almia tried touching her that Sophie snapped and went into a frenzy, leaving with her Pokémon to battle at the arena.

Almia had never seen her ward in such a furious state, surprised when some Rockets coming from the arena murmured about ‘Silver’ actually killing off her opponent’s Pokémon and making her Lopunny fight. This had to stop. Almia quickly made her way to the arena, her anger still showing in her face when she went up to the young woman who was sitting in a corner surrounded by her concerned Pokémon, Dahlia now sporting a gash across her eye after her battle. The breeder explained to the frozen trainer that she never told her because she knew that this would’ve happened. She wanted to save Sophie the grief and suffering she was doing right now, and the only way that she would be able to do that is to put everything related to her past behind. She also knew it would take some time for the younger woman to cope with the deaths, but that’s why she made her train so hard throughout her life in Saffron. She didn’t train her enough…

Now at 26, Sophie is one of the three headsmen for Rocket, taking her job far more than a duty and more like a lifestyle. She is respected by most, and feared by her enemies, although she shows pity to the ones she fights and lets their Pokémon live so they can get stronger, wanting a good fight next time. Even though Flare was her first Pokémon, Rustle is her powerhouse, with Sasha as his partner for tag battles or as her second choice. Dahlia is still going on for contests, and even with the scarred eye, she is a proud owner of several contest wins under her belt. The Seviper tattoo was imprinted on her arm when she was 23, a symbol of her venomous charms and lethal strikes, and she wears it with pride. She visits Almia once in a while, and she enjoys her company and makes her feel like she never lost her mother. There was one time when she visited their graves, and that would be the last time afterwards. From a frightened spoiled girl to a powerful independent woman, Sophie is one of the formidable trainers anyone would find in Saffron, and would be damned if they even talk smack about her behind her back, because she will find you, and you will pay the consequences.

Equipment: (If you want to make it with Rocket, you need to have something to protect yourself from the police, other than your Pokémon. Guns, knives, just make sure you can carry it.)
Pet: Flare, Magby
Other:

Sophie, although appears perfect to others, is only a façade that she uses to hide her true emotions that she would like to show without being talked down at. She feels warmth and happiness when she looks at the baby Pokémon in the Bunny Courses with their trainers, and feels respect and admiration at Pokémon that show power and beauty, as well as fierceness in battle and talent in contests. She also feels fear: fear of losing her Pokémon in battle, fear of killing someone else’s Pokémon again, and fear of herself and how others would see her if she acted any other way than the ruthless headsman they see her as, meaning she was insecure. She has a liking to smooth music, which she likes hearing when she reads her novels in her home with a cooling glass of iced tea.

Pokémon:
Name: Flare
Gender: male
Age: 19
Species: Magby
League: 2

Description: Magby at first looked like any other Magby because it wasn’t bred to fight the harsh battles that went on in the arena. He is slightly larger than other Magby, but that is because it has trained for battling after arriving in Saffron. He has a darker shade of red fur and sports several scars on his arms and legs as well as a scar on his tail from when he started fighting in the arena before Sophie had gotten Rustle.

Personality: Flare is a very energetic Pokémon, who likes to cheer others up even though they find it quite annoying. He just doesn’t know when to stop, thinking that he is helping rather than him believing he is the problem. He is protective of his family, which is Sophie and her Pokémon, but hates it when they treat him like the youngest of the group, even though he knows it to be true. When he was fighting Flare was confident and daring, liking to challenge himself with bigger opponents, and even though he would lose, he just loved the rush of things.

History: See history for before they arrived in Saffron. During their stay in Saffron, even though Sophie looked scared and nervous of the new environment, Magby accepted it and encouraged his trainer to feel the same way as him. He cheered when Almia said that she was to train him for fighting and tried to put a smile on her face when she just grimaced at the news. As the years passed flare became more down to earth and less of a nuisance with his attitude. After training with Rustle he understood that he wouldn’t be able to be used for any more battles, and turned into the cheerleader for his training partner. Then came Dahlia and Sasha, and he immediately felt on edge with the Eevee and kept to Sophie’s side whenever Sasha was near. That soon went away when she evolved into an Espeon and he respected her for the decision she made in bonding with Sophie. He was devastated when he heard the news of Sophie’s parents and refused to battle for her pain, which resulted in him being placed into a pokeball, which he had found dark and terrifying, never being inside one before. He now accompanies her side as Headsman, and actually participating in a few battles for sport, winning some and losing some.

Other: Unlike his trainer he likes loud music and chocolate

Name: Dahlia
Gender: female
Age: 27
Species: Lopunny (Shiny)
League: 2
Description: She has a softer and finer coat than other Lopunny, and her being a shiny gives her an edge that others don’t have. She carries herself with elegance and regality, not liking to partake in harsh battles. She is well groomed and is never denied the privilege to endulge in anything that would raise her soft loveliness. She wears a white scarf around her neck for good measure, and even though she sports a nasty scar on her right eye, she wears it with pride and only adds to her looks rather than taking away.

Personality: Her personality is reflected on her trainer’s soft side for baby Pokémon. She, just like Sophie, has a soft spot for baby Pokémon but unlike her she shows it openly, loving to cuddle the little things when she isn’t training or busy grooming herself. She is playful and kind, with a hint of seriousness when it comes to contests, which she treats like a lifestyle rather than a sport. She respects other Pokémon that are in par with her or better at contests.

History: Dahlia never knew her parents, since she was born from parents that were raised for battling, and the trainers being too busy with them for there to be any family reunion. She only knows her life with Sophie when she was born, and how she felt a connection with Sasha, another Pokémon given to the girl and born the same time she did. At first she was wary of Sasha, knowing how fierce the Eevee was, but she then noticed that she never acted like that with her, and she opened more, actually liking her company and never leaving her side after that. She never liked battles and Sophie knew this, so she trained to be good at coordinating and focused more on charm and the looks of her attacks than her being powerful. That was her downfall when Sophie made her fight that dreadful day and received the scar she now has on her right eye, but is not ashamed to have it. She now attends contests and goes to the Bunny Courses in her free time, as well as help Sasha with her moves and playing with Flare when they were both bored.

Other: She shares the same taste in music and beverages, but likes to dance instead of reading.

Name: Rustle
Gender: male
Age: 32
Species: Pidgeot
League: 3

Description:

Rustle has a darker plumage than most Pidgeot, with dark grey wings that turn lighter underneath and has a brighter coloration for his head feathers. He sports several scars on his legs and chest, one looking like an X right smack in the middle of his breast plate. He is also much larger, large enough to be able to carry max. 2 people on his back, but only letting Sophie ride on him since he won’t trust anyone else.

Personality:

Rustle has a rash personality, liking to attack first and ask questions later. Although this is true, he has respect for strong trainers, such as Sophie, and will do anything in his power to protect her. He will get into fights with Pokémon that give him a bad feeling, but will retreat when Sophie tells him to. He respects Pokémon equal or strong to power, and is sometimes seen giving flare a ride or two in the skies when both of them are bored, only that Rustle would have to be dying of boredom if this would happen.

History:

When he was hatched, right off the bat he harmed Sophie and gave her a scar. He really didn’t like her at all for some time, attacking and pecking her hands whenever he could, which Sophie didn’t like, but didn’t voice it at all. He started respecting her when the bird noticed how people would look at her and murmured bad stuff about her and treated her like scum, with the girl never talking back and just continuing with her training. He warmed up to her when he finally evolved into Pidgeotto, and was her best fighter after he evolved into his final stage, now acting more like a guardian than a bothersome pest. He trained with Sasha when she evolved, and he then knew that she shared the same ideals about Sophie with him, warming up to her afterwards. He sees Dahlia like a bothersome little sister, but still cares about everyone the same. He didn’t dare disobey his master when she went into her frenzy, and he knew that even if he did, he would face a dead-end and knew that her parent’s deaths were a touchy subject. He now helps her with catching the ones that have to pay their dues and couldn’t, as well as still battling for his own benefits.

Other: he likes the quiet and the idea of how wonderful it would be to stuff a cork in Flare’s mouth when he talked too much.

Name: Sasha
Gender: female
Age: 27
Species: Espeon
League: 2
Description: (The Pokémon of this time are likely to look darker. It also will have qualities bred into it to make it better in the ring. Note, I said bred in. That means no wings on an Eevee. Lastly, Shiny Pokémon are more likely found than they used to be. So you may have one or two if you want them.)
Personality: (How does it act?)
History: (How did you get it? Has anything interesting happened while you had it?)
Other: (Anything else you want to say?)
