ok guys heres chapter 9, hope you enjoy it:

Chapter 9. Living Fossil

“Hmm…alright, seems like there’s no one outside the door.” Anthony noticed as he looked through the door.

Anthony then opened the door and sneakily started to make his escape.

“Alright, first I need to find where my Pokemon are, and then get out of here.”

Anthony then checked several rooms to see if his pokeballs were in there, but they were nowhere in sight. Anthony then heard some voices coming down from the other end of the hallway. Anthony then went into the closest room so the Rockets wouldn’t see him.

“Whew…that was a close one.” Anthony said moving his hand across his forehead. “Huh? What the?”

Anthony saw a huge machine in the middle of the room with several computers in there as well.

“I guess this must be Team Rocket’s laboratory.” Anthony commented as he looked around. “Hey isn’t that the Dome Fossil that Hikaru found in Mt. Moon?”

“Yeah, can you believe that?” A distant voice said.

“Man, what a great joke.” Another voice said, as it got closer to Anthony’s location.

After hearing the voices approaching to the room, Anthony hid himself behind the huge machine. The door to the room then opened up and two Rockets walked in.

“Well it seems everything is fine in here.” One of the Rockets said.

“Yep, hopefully it’ll stay that way until that fossil has been revived.” The other Rocket said.

The two rockets then left the room and Anthony got out from hiding behind the huge machine.

“So this machine is revived fossilized Pokemon?” Anthony said puzzled. “Well I better hurry up and find my Pokemon before they notice me missing.”

Anthony then walked out of the fossil machine room and then hurried up to find his Pokemon. Anthony checked several other rooms, but still no luck.

“Err…where the hell could my pokeballs be?!” Anthony blurted out.

“Hey, did you hear something?” A Rocket said.

“No, I think your just hearing things.” Another Rocket replied.

“Well I think I'm going to check up the that kid.” The Rocket said as he turned around and went towards the room Anthony left. The Rocket opened the door and yelled, “The kid is missing!”

All of a sudden the alarm went off and Rockets were running everywhere looking for Anthony.

“Great…I guess they know I'm missing now.” Anthony said as he quickly went into a room. “Hey, my pokeballs!”

Anthony then gathered the three pokeballs on the desk in a random room and put then back into his pouch.

“Okay now I can fight back.”

Anthony then left the room and was trying to find the exit.

“Hey kid, come back here!” A rocket yelled as he spotted Anthony.

“Err…Go Ledyba!”

“A battle huh? Fine with me! Go Koffing!”

Koffing resembles a purple floating sphere with large pores over its surface that release poisonous gas.

“Ledyba use giga drain!”

Ledyba then started to grow green and stared at Koffing. Koffing then started to glow green also as his energy was being drained away from him. Koffing then fell unconscious as he lost all of his energy.

“What?!” The Rocket said as he called back Koffing. “It doesn’t matter, I’ll bring you back by force then.

As the Rocket ran towards Anthony, Anthony shouted, “Ledyba use supersonic!”

Ledyba then made a huge screeching noise confusing the rocket.

“Heh, that’ll teach you rocket *******s.” Anthony said as he called back Ledyba and ran.

Anthony then ran into two more Rockets and called out Ledyba.

“Ledyba, supersonic!” Anthony commanded.

After the two Rockets were confused they ran into each other and fell down.

About thirty minutes after the alarm has been set, Anthony has battled countless Rockets and his Ledyba was starting to get exhausted.

“Man, they just keep on coming.” Anthony thought to himself. “Alright, breaks over, time to start moving again.”

Anthony then came across a set of stairs and noticed they led up.

“Maybe it’s a way out.” Anthony said in relief.

“Where do you think your going?” A familiar voice said.

Anthony turned around and said, “Great…Hikaru.”

“Heh, not glad to see me?” Hikaru asked as he flipped his silver hair back.

“Why do you want me to stay here Hikaru?” Anthony asked.

“Well…that Rocket that brought you here said you had potential to be an excellent trainer, and now you’ve seen too much of our hideout.” Hikaru explained. “So now it’s time we battled each other. It’ll be a two on two battle.

“Fine with me.” Anthony said reaching for his pokeball in his pouch. “Go Ledyba!”

“Go, Sneasel!” Hikaru shouted.

As Sneasel came out, he automatically took out his claws from his forepaws.

“I better take the offensive right away.” Anthony thought. “Ledyba use giga drain!”

Ledyba then started to glow green and stared at Sneasel. Sneasel then started to glow green and started to feel light headed as he was losing energy fast.

“I must admit I didn’t except Ledyba to be able to use giga drain, but no matter.” Hikaru said to Anthony. “Sneasel, use icy wind!”

Sneasel then started to move its paws around and then pointed them straight towards Ledyba and Anthony. Sneasel then shot multiple tiny ice shards and freezing wind towards Anthony and Ledyba.

“Ledyba use Light Screen!” Anthony quickly ordered as the ice shards were coming fast.

Ledyba was then covered in a yellow barrier taking less damage than it would have. But all of a sudden all of the ice shards were targeting Anthony. Anthony then tried to jump out of the way, but it was too late. His legs were frozen so he couldn’t escape.

“You didn’t think I was only aiming at Ledyba did you?” Hikaru said with an evil smile.

“Dammit, I didn’t think he would’ve attacked me.” Anthony said.

Taking too much damage from the icy wind, plus his exhaustion in the other battles, Ledyba collapsed.

“Ledyba are you okay?” Anthony shouted.

Anthony then called back Ledyba and was thinking which Pokemon he should use now.

“Phanpy never recovered from those five battles before on Nugget Bridge…so I guess I only have one option left.” Anthony said reaching for another pokeball. “Go Poliwhirl!”

“Poli-poli” Poliwhirl shouted as it stretched.

“Alright Poliwhirl, use hypnosis!”

Poliwhirl’s eyes then started to glow blue as he stared at Sneasel. Sneasel then started to struggle to keep its eyes open, but couldn’t and fell asleep.

“Not bad…” Hikaru said calling back Sneasel. “Now the fun begins.” Hikaru said with a smile as he reached for another pokeball. “Go Kabuto!”

Kabuto takes its appearance a horseshoe crab. Covered in a hard brown shell that has two small, red luminous dot-like eyes.

“What kind of Pokemon is that?” Anthony said surprised, as he hasn’t seen anything Pokemon like it before.

“It’s called Kabuto, it’s an ancient Pokemon that we revived from the Dome Fossil.”

“You mean Team Rocket actually revived the Pokemon in the Dome Fossil?!”

“Yes, it was an excellent discover and opportunity for Team Rocket.”

“Well I guess this is a good opportunity for me to see how strong I’ve become. Poliwhirl use water gun!”

Poliwhirl then shot a high amount of concentrated water from his swirl and shot it towards Kabuto. Kabuto then tried to dodge it, but it was too slow and it was hit and was sent back forcefully by the concentrated water.

“That’s a pretty powerful water gun.” Hikaru commented. “Lets see how you like attack, Kabuto use rain dance!”

Lots of dark clouds materialized above Anthony and Hikaru. As the clouds finished materializing they started to drizzle. Soon after the drizzle, a downpour of rain came down on everybody in that area.

“Thanks a lot Hikaru, since you use rain dance, Poliwhirl’s water attacks are more powerful.” Anthony remarked with a smile.

“Heh, don’t mention it, it was well worth it.”

“We’ll see, Poliwhirl use water gun one more time!”

Poliwhirl then shot more concentrated water from its swirl on its body, but the diameter of the water increased due to the power increase from the rain dance.

“Kabuto dodge it.” Hikaru commanded in a tranquil voice.

Kabuto then vanished all of a sudden as the powerful water blast missed him by a few seconds.

“Huh? Last time Kabuto could barely dodge Poliwhirl’s water gun, how did it get so fast?” Anthony wondered.

“Because rain dance also powers up water attacks, but Kabuto has a special ability called swift swim. Swift swim takes effect when rain dance is an effect. So now Kabuto’s speed is doubled and its water attacks are doubled.” Hikaru explained laughing a little in the process.

“Great…double the power and speed, that hardly seems fair.” Anthony thought to himself as he was beginning to break a sweat.

“Now Kabuto, use your mega drain!”

Kabuto then started to glow green, but not as bright as when a Pokemon uses giga drain. Poliwhirl then started to glow green as energy started to be sucked out of him.

“What? I didn’t think Kabuto, a water type Pokemon could use grass attacks!” Anthony shouted. “Is Kabuto part grass type also?”

“No, Kabuto is a water type and a rock type. So water attacks don’t do a lot a damage since its part water, even though its part rock.” Hikaru explained.

Kabuto then stopped sucking energy out of Poliwhirl as it could no longer store any more energy in its body.

“Kabuto use scratch on Poliwhirl’s swirl.” Hikaru declared calmly.

Kabuto then charged towards Poliwhirl and then jumped into the air. Kabuto then landed on top of Poliwhirl and started to scratch Poliwhirl’s body with its four scuttlers.

“Poli!” Poliwhirl shouted as it was in pain.

Kabuto then jumped off of Poliwhirl’s body and went back to its original spot near Hikaru.

“Alright time to put Kabuto asleep like we did Sneasel. Poliwhirl use hypnosis!”

Poliwhirl’s eyes then started to glow blue and its swirl started to move in a counter clockwise rotation. But all of a sudden Poliwhirl stopped and looked like he was in pain.

“What’s going on?!” Anthony asked in a strident voice.

“Well you see, Poliwhirl’s most powerful attacks involve the use of that swirl on its body, so if the swirl was damaged, then he couldn’t use any powerful attacks.” Hikaru explained. “Admit it, you lost.”

“Err…Poliwhirl can’t use any psychic or water attacks now, just normal and since Kabuto is part rock, it’ll hardly do any damage. Not to mention Poliwhirl doesn’t know any fighting attacks yet since I haven’t been able to train him much.” Anthony thought.

“Well what are you going to do now?” Hikaru asked.

Anthony then reached for Poliwhirl’s pokeball and uttered, “Poliwhirl return!”

“Ah, so you see that you couldn’t have won?”

“Pretty much, but I still got one more Pokemon left.” Anthony said reaching for Phanpy's pokeball. “Go Phanpy!”

“Phan-phan…” Phanpy cried in a tired voice.

“Haha, are you kidding me? Phanpy’s completely worn out, he has no chance against Kabuto.” Hikaru expressed amused.

“Heh…well there’s one more move that Phanpy can use in order to help me out.” Anthony claimed.

“Really? And what’s that attack?” Hikaru asked Anthony.

“Heh…I’ll show you, Phanpy use Take Down!”

“If you were going to use normal attacks, you should’ve kept using Poliwhirl you retard.” Hikaru stated. “Since Kabuto is part rock, it’ll hardly do any damage.”

“Heh, who said I'm attacking Kabuto?” Anthony chuckled.

Right as Phanpy was about to charge into Kabuto recklessly, he turned to the left and smashed into the wall and a whole bunch of smoke and debris appeared.

“What the hell? Why would you tell your Pokemon to attack the wall?” Hikaru complained.

“Phanpy return.” Anthony muttered so Hikaru couldn’t hear him.

Anthony then used the smoke and debris to make his escape up the stairs, as he knew he couldn’t win against Hikaru. As the smoke cleared, Hikaru looked around thinking, “He knew he couldn’t win against an ancient Pokemon, so he used the environment to make his escape…finally a worthy foe that uses his head…” Hikaru then started to grin in anticipation of his next encounter of Anthony.

Anthony on the other hand was running up the stairs thinking, “Damn, how long are these stairs?” Anthony then saw in the distance a dead end. “Huh? What the hell is this? There’s no freaking way out from here!”

Anthony then started to examine the wall to see if there was any secret switch to open the door, but he couldn’t find any.

“Err…this place is really pissing me off…”

Anthony then sat down in front of the door and waited there thinking of how he’s going to get out. About 15 minutes later, Anthony heard a distant noise coming from the other side.

“Well I better make it to the hideout before the game corner opens.” A mysterious voice mumbled. The wall then started to move slowing to the left making a huge screeching noise. Anthony then held his ears shut with his hands over his ears trying to block the annoying noise. Anthony then noticed that a Rocket walked in from the other side of the wall.

“So the door had to be opened from the other side huh?” Anthony murmured. “That explains why it was so damn hard to figure out how to open it.”

The Rocket then started to make his way down the stairs, but realized he forgot to close the door.

“Now’s my chance!” Anthony blurted out.

“Hey who’s there?” The rocket questioned.

As the Rocket turned around, he noticed Anthony running straight towards him. The Rocket freaked out that someone was running towards him reached for his pokeball. Anthony quickly then ran as fast as he could then punched the rocket across his face. The Rocket then fell to the ground in pain and was out cold.

“Thanks a lot for coming along and opening the door for me. Though I do feel bad for punching you across the face.” Anthony apologized in a sarcastic voice.

Anthony then walked out of the stairwell and into the room on the other side of the wall. Anthony saw tons of game machines and a huge counter for where they keep all of the money.

“Wow, guess Team Rocket wasn’t lying after all about their hideout is under the Celadon Game Corner.” Anthony noted. “So the secret button was under this poster that that retard Rocket left uncovered…I guess all Rockets are stupid.”

Right as Anthony covered up the button to the Rocket’s hideout with a poster, a man opened the door to the game corner.

“Who the hell are you?!” The man requested in a worried yet angry voice.

“Well you see, funny story…” Anthony was saying before he got interrupted.

“Your trying to rob the Game Corner, aren’t you?”

The Game Corner’s boss then took out his cell phone and dialed 911.

“Hello? Yes someone’s here is right in front of me trying to rob my store…he’s here at the Game Corner near the Celadon Gym.”

“Celadon Gym?” Anthony restated in his mind.

“Please get here as fast as you can officer. Thank you.” The Game Corner owner said as he turned off his cell phone.

“Please sir, you have to understand that I'm not trying to rob the Game Corner.” Anthony tried to explain to the owner.

“I’ve heard enough out of you. I better make sure you don’t try to run before the cops come.” The owner said as he took out a pokeball. “Go Vileplume!”

The Game Corner owner sent a Pokemon that resembled a giant flower, with a short purple stem for a body.

“Vileplume use stun spore!”

Vileplume then shot out gold dust out of its big red pedal on top of its head. Anthony then tried to run away from the dust, but couldn’t.

“What the hell is this stuff? I can’t move my body.” Anthony acknowledged.

“Stun spore basically paralyzes the target, so you won’t be moving anytime soon, have fun in jail criminal.” The Game Corner owner responded.

About 10 minutes later, you could hear a distant siren approaching the building. The cops then busted into the Game Corner and asked the owner, “Okay where is the criminal?”

“That boy right there.” The owner pointed to Anthony.

“Are you serious? It’s a little boy?” One of the cops said.

“Yes, right as I unlocked the door, I saw this boy in here, he must be an expert criminal, the alarm didn’t sound when he broke in.” The owner mentioned.

“Err…for the last time, I didn’t break in, I was escaping from Team Rocket!” Anthony yelled out in rage.

“My name is Chief Matt, and hold on kid, are you saying Team Rocket is in Celadon City?” The chief officer asked Anthony.

“Yes they are, they’re closer than you think.” Anthony tried to explain.

“Okay well in that case, I understand why you broke into the Game Corner, and it seems you didn’t take anything, so we won’t be pressing charges.” The chief said as an officer searched Anthony and reported back to the chief. “But I'm going to take you back to the station in order to gather information about Team Rocket that you might have.”

The Chief then sprayed Anthony with some kind of antidote to the stun spore. Chief Matt and Anthony went back to the Celadon Police station, where the chief started to asked questions about Team Rocket to Anthony.

“So your telling me that Team Rocket’s hideout is under the Game Corner?”

“Yeah pretty much…that’s what I’ve been trying to tell everyone for the past hour.” Anthony murmured.

“Okay well in that case, I will tell me team to investigate this. Also is there anything I can do to apologize for false accusations?” Chief Matt asked Anthony.

“Well…can you take me to the Pokemon Center in Celadon, I have no idea where to go to get to it.” Anthony pointed out.

“Alright, well I’ll be happy to give you a ride to the Pokemon Center.”

Anthony and Chief Matt got onto a motorcycle and rode to the Pokemon Center. About five minutes after they’ve been riding, Anthony gulped and said, “Whoa…what a huge building.”

“Oh are you talking about the Celadon Department Store?”

“I guess so…what kind of stuff do they sell there?” Anthony pondered.

“Well basically it’s a bigger version of a Pokemon Mart, but most people go to the Celadon Department Store in order to get special stones.” Chief Matt explained.

“Special stones? What do you mean?” Anthony asked.

“Well there are about six special kinds of stones that can evolve certain Pokemon. The six stones are fire, water, thunder, leaf, moon, and sun stones. The Department Store only sells fire, water, thunder, and leaf.”

“Oh…how come they don’t sell moon or sun stones?”

“That’s because moon stones are harder to find than the other types of stones because you can only get them in Mt. Moon…as for the sun stones they aren’t common here in Kanto, but in Johto.” Chief Matt described.

“Oh…okay I’ll have to check that out later.” Anthony replied.

Anthony and Chief Matt made it to the Pokemon Center about ten minutes after they left the station. Anthony then thanked Matt and ran into the Pokemon Center. Anthony then dropped off his three Pokemon and went to get something to eat. Anthony then walked outside and noticed the sun was starting to set. Anthony just lied down on the grass starring up at the yellowish orange sky and looked at the clouds. Anthony then closed his eyes as he remembered a time when him and his brother watched the sunset the day before Rob left on his Pokemon journey.

“Hey Rob, how long do you think your journey is going to be?”

“I don’t know, maybe a year or more. But hopefully by the time you start your journey, I’ll still be continuing mine.” Rob responded as he smiled.

“Heh, you never know, maybe by the time I'm a trainer, we’ll meet at the Pokemon League and battle each other in the competition.” Anthony chuckled.

“That would be fun if we did, but you start your journey three years from now, remember, you have to be fifteen in order to become an official Pokemon Trainer.” Rob explained.

“Yeah I know…I'm still wondering what Pokemon I should start out with.” Anthony confessed.

“Don’t worry about that…just make sure your ready in the next three years, and even if I'm not there on your fifteenth birthday, I’ll still get you a present to help you on your journey.”

“Thanks Rob…I just wish that I could start my journey the same time as you…” Anthony said.

“Yeah, but its alright, I like it this way, it seems better.” Rob mumbled to himself.

“Man…that was so long ago. I wonder where Rob is, I haven’t heard any news from him for such a long time.” Anthony thought to himself.

Anthony then finished watching the beautiful sunset and went back into the Pokemon Center. As Anthony got back into the Pokemon Center, he borrowed sheets from the Pokemon Center and went to bed.

shove 'er in! ;O
I'll start things off. . . (Your avatar is smexy you perv! May=Smexy. . .No?)

It’ll be a two on two battle.

The battle between Hikaru and Anthony. I thought it was a two pokemon only. Why'd he use Phanpy, Ledyba and Poliwhirl?

His legs were frozen so he couldn’t escape.

Anthony then used the smoke and debris to make his escape up the stairs

o_O How could he move if his legs were frozen? Major WTF right there.

Anyways, it's good! He'll have to end up going back to Vermillion for his third which is good way to extend the fic.

Good luck.

P.S. WHERE in Mew's name is my review???! JK

here is chapter 10, enjoy:

Chapter 10. The Technical Machines

Anthony woke up around 8 o’ clock and got out from under the blue stripped bed sheets. Anthony then folded them nicely up and returned them to the Pokemon Center. Anthony then walked up to the receptionist’s desk and picked up his three Pokemon. Anthony then walked out of the Pokemon Center and then started to check out the sights in Celadon City.

“Hmm…where is that Department Store again?” Anthony mumbled.

Anthony then started to walk to the left of the city and saw a huge building. Anthony thinking it was it, walked into it. Anthony then noticed a huge room with an old lady in it.

“Excuse me…” Anthony Muttered.

“Yes…?” The old lady replied.

“Is this the Celadon Department Store?” Anthony kindly asked.

“No, the Department Store is right down the street.” The lady said drinking some tea. “Would you like some tea? I made it myself.”

“Umm…sure.” Anthony said taking the tea and drank it all.

Anthony then walked out of the huge building and walked towards the Department Store. Anthony came up to a huge building that looked to be about six stories and have lots of windows. Anthony walked in, and noticed the huge lobby.

“Whoa…this is just the lobby?” Anthony uttered.

Anthony bored, walked around the lobby looking at trainers and their Pokemon. He noticed that they all had grass types. Anthony walked up to one of the trainers and asked, “Hey, I was wondering…how come all the trainers here have grass Pokemon?”

The boy in the yellow shirt said, “What are you stupid or something? The Celadon Gym Leader, Erika is coming here to sign autographs.”

“The Celadon Gym leader huh…maybe it’ll be worth while staying here in the lobby till she gets here.” Anthony thought.

Anthony then sat in the lobby and was starting to get impatient as he started to throw an empty pokeball up in the air and catch it. All of a sudden, all of the trainers started to stare at this girl who had black hair, and a yellow kimono on.

“You got to be kidding me…are all of the gym leaders hot?” Anthony mentioned.

There was a huge line of people waiting to get Erika’s autograph. Anthony of course was last in line. About an hour later, Anthony was next to get Erika’s autograph.

“Why hello there, who should I sign this out to?” Erika said getting ready to write the autograph.

“Wait, I don’t want an autograph. I’d rather have a little exhibition match before I challenge you at the Celadon Gym.” Anthony hastily said with a grin.

“Oh I see…so you’re another trainer who wants to challenge me…” Erika said getting up from her seat behind a desk. “Well then I guess I’ll accept your request.”

Erika and Anthony then walked outside of the Department Store and a huge crowd of people gathered around then waiting anxiously to watch this battle.

“Come on Erika you can do it!” A boy shouted.

“Erika, kick this guys ***!” Another boy yelled.

“Err…why is all the boys in love with this Erika? I mean sure she’s hot, but she has no fashion sense…” Anthony murmured.

“Well I guess we’ll start this battle. It’ll be a one on one exhibition match.” Erika announced reaching for a pokeball.

“Fine with me…” Anthony said with a confident smile reaching for a pokeball. “Go Ledyba!”

“Heh…a ladybug huh? Well then try this, go Victreebel!”

“A Victreebel?” Anthony gulped.

Victreebel looks like a yellow flycatcher with two leaves as its hands and a huge leaf on top of its head with a vine growing out of it. Victreebel was then starting to move the top leaf on its head making its mouth noticeable. All you could see were two little fangs in its mouth.

“Now Victreebel use razor leaf!”

Victreebel then shot a barrage of razor sharp leaves towards Ledyba.

“Ledyba, use comet punch to knock those leaves down!” Anthony shouted.

Ledyba then rapidly punched and knocked away the razor sharp leaves from it. Victreebel then started to get mad and started to twirl the vine on top of its head around.

“Victreebel use vine whip!” Erika ordered.

Victreebel looked like it ignored Erika’s order as it was still twirling its vine. All of a sudden the vine extended and slapped Ledyba across the face in an instant.

“Ledyba are you okay?”

“Ledy-ba”

Ledyba then struggled to get up and Anthony commanded, “Use supersonic!”

Ledyba then shouted an ear piercing noise from its mouth towards Victreebel.

“Victreebel finish Ledyba off, use sludge bomb!”

Victreebel then shot out about five purple glowing balls out of its mouth towards Ledyba. Ledyba then quickly stopped try to use supersonic and tried to dodge. Ledyba then was enveloped in the purple sludge as the five balls exploded on contact and stuck to Ledyba.

“Ledyba can you move?” Anthony grunted.

“Ledy…”

“Err…Ledyba return!” Anthony said as he called back Ledyba.

“Well I guess I win.” Erika noted as she called back Victreebel. “Well I can tell you need a lot more experience before you can beat me…but here’s an autograph for before.

Erika then handed the autograph to Anthony, as Anthony was just standing there shocked that he lost so easily. The huge crowd of boys then dispersed and Erika walked away.

“Err…I was so weak, Ledyba couldn’t even hit Victreebel once…” Anthony thought to himself with an angry look on his face. “There’s no way I can beat Erika now…err…she’s going to kick my freaking ***!”

Anthony then walked back into the Department Store frustrated, yet depressed. Anthony then walked up the stairs to the second floor. There were two counters and clerks. Anthony went up to one and saw that he had a different kind of pokeball.

“Excuse me.” Anthony uttered.

“Why yes, how may I help you young man?” The clerk responded.

“What kind of pokeball is that blue one?”

“Oh, you mean this one?” The clerk said picking it up. “Why this is called a Great Ball.”

“A Great Ball? What’s so special about it?” Anthony asked.

“Well it’s like a normal pokeball, but it has a higher chance of success for capturing Pokemon.”

“Wow, awesome, so how much is it?” Anthony gulped.

“It’s 600 Pokemon Dollars.” The clerk announced.

Anthony then checked to see how much money he had in his pouch. “Hmm…lets see I have about 1500 Pokemon Dollars. So I guess I’ll just buy one.” Anthony said as he gave the clerk 600 Pokemon Dollars.

“Hey you.” A mysterious man said with a brown hat, trench coat and glasses on.

“You mean me?” Anthony questioned.

“Yeah, come here, I got to ask you something.” The man told Anthony.

Anthony then walked over to the man and asked, “What do you need to ask me?”

“I saw your battle with Erika.”

“Oh that…” Anthony murmured.

“I can tell you’re a strong Pokemon trainer, most boy trainers would’ve fell in love with her and lost miserably, but you didn’t, so I'm going to explained something to you.” The man said. “Do you know about TM’s?”

“TMs?” Anthony said puzzled. “No, what is it?”

“TMs, or Technical Machines are discs that have certain Pokemon attacks in them. You give the Pokemon a TM and they learn that move instantly without any training.” The man explained.

“Whoa…they seem really awesome.” Anthony yelled. “Where can I get one?!”

“Over there from the other clerk, he sells TM’s, but they are expensive. They run from 1000 Pokemon Dollars to as much as 10,000 Pokemon Dollars.”

“Oh man…I don’t have enough money, even for the cheapest one…” Anthony said with a gloomy voice.

“Well after seeing your battle with Erika, I thought I would give you a TM.”

“Really? But why are you just going to give me one for free?” Anthony pondered.

“It’s…umm…because you seem to be a good trainer, and I’d thought I would help a fellow Pokemon trainer in need.”

“Wow, you’re a Pokemon trainer too huh? Well thanks, so what kind of TM are you going to give me?” Anthony blurted out.

“Well here, this is a TM that contains the move ice beam. You should teach it to a water or ice type Pokemon.” The man explained.

“Ice beam? That sounds strong.”

“It is, and it’s an effective attack against Erika’s grass Pokemon. Also you should teach your Ledyba an ice move too.” The man said

“Huh? How can Ledyba use an ice attack when it’s a bug Pokemon?” Anthony asked the man puzzled.

“Well Ledyba has the ability to learn a move called ice punch. Which will come in handy since it appears Ledyba doesn’t know any bug moves yet. So if you can teach it ice punch, your chances will improve greatly.”

“Wow, that’s awesome.” Anthony said in an excited voice looking down at the clear blue disk. Anthony then looked up and said, “Thanks a lot…Huh? Where did he go?”

“Wow, I'm surprised how great of a trainer you are Anthony…” The man said as he took off his trench coat and hat in front of the department store. The man was actually a boy that looked to be about eighteen. He had long curly brown hair and a black shirt on. “Remember your promise to me Anthony…that you would beat me if we ever met.” Rob said to himself out loud.

Anthony then went up to the third floor and saw that there was nothing there, except trainers trading Pokemon. So Anthony didn’t bother to look around the third floor and went directly to the fourth floor. Anthony then looked around to see what this floor had for sale. Anthony then came across the four different stones for evolutions in the glass display.

“Excuse me…how much are each stone worth?” Anthony asked the clerk.

“They are 2100 Pokemon Dollars each.” The clerk said with a smile.

Anthony just stood there frozen as if he just peed his pants. “21…21…2100 Pokemon Dollars?!”

“Why yes, they are extremely rare and profitable.” The clerk said rambling on.

“Man…one of those stones would really help me out…but oh well I can always come back to here whenever I get enough money.” Anthony thought to himself.

Anthony then walked away from the clerk who was still rambling on about the stones. Anthony then walked up to the fifth floor and saw that they sold items that increased Pokemon’s power and abilities. Anthony then went on the top floor or the roof of the building.

“Man…what a great breeze.” Anthony said grinning as he long brown hair was blown back from the wind.

Anthony then went back down to the fifth floor and got back onto the elevator and took it down to the lobby. Anthony then walked out of the Celadon Department Store and started to walk to the outskirts of the city. Anthony finally made it out of Celadon City and onto Route 8 after thirty minutes.

“Alright time for some training.” Anthony said reaching for his pokeballs in his pouch. “Go Poliwhirl and Ledyba!”

“Poli-poli”

“Ledy-ledy”

“Alright Poliwhirl come here for a second.” Anthony said as he reached for the clear blue disc in his pouch. “This is called a TM, and once I give it to you, your going to absorb it so you can learn a move called ice beam without training to learn it.”

Poliwhirl then walked over to Anthony and Anthony gave Poliwhirl the clear blue disc to hold. Poliwhirl then started to glow a light blue aura as he was absorbing the disc that contained ice beam. After about ten seconds, Poliwhirl then stopped glowing and the disc disappeared.

“Did it work…?” Anthony wondered. “Well time to see if it did, Poliwhirl use ice beam on that tree over there!” Anthony shouted pointing at the tree. Anthony then stood there pointing to the tree for about five seconds and said, “Gee I guess that damn TM didn’t work!”. All of a sudden Poliwhirl started to glow that blue aura again and then shot a huge beam of ice out of its body and towards the tree with tremendous force. The tree then was frozen solid as an ice cube. “Whoa…what power…” Anthony said being speechless.

Anthony then turned his attention towards Ledyba and said, “Okay Ledyba, we’re going to teach you ice punch, I don’t know how, but your going to learn it. Wait how about this…Poliwhirl shoot a little of your ice beam onto Ledyba's fists so it can get used to the cold temperature.”

Poliwhirl then shot a little bit of its ice beam onto Ledyba's hands. Ledyba was then starting to struggle as its fist was so cold, he was in pain. About after an hour later as its fists defrosted, Anthony commanded Poliwhirl to shoot ice beam onto Ledyba's fists again. Anthony did this for about three hours and Ledyba's fist were swollen. “Alright Ledyba that’s enough for today, I think we did enough…” Anthony was saying as he stopped as he realized Ledyba was glowing. “Is Ledyba…”

Ledyba was then starting to glow brighter and as the glow got brighter, his body started to change form. Ledyba then was engulfed in a circle and then the circle shattered as his transformation was complete. The Pokemon that emerged looked like a ladybug, but much larger than Ledyba was. It’s still red and has six small limbs.

“You did evolve Ledyba! Oh wait…now you’re a Ledian.” Anthony corrected himself. Ledian then flew onto a tree and started to spread out its wings as if they were stiff. When Ledian’s wings are together, you can see star patterns on its back as they started to glow like a Christmas tree.

“Come on Ledian, enough of training, time to go get something to eat.” Anthony shouted. Ledian then hopped off the tree and started to fly towards Anthony. Anthony then recalled Ledian and went inside of the Pokemon to get something to eat. Anthony then ate a cheeseburger and some French fries. “Man that was…” Anthony said as he burped. “Okay time to finish teaching Ledian ice punch.”

Anthony then walked back to Route 8 and sent out Poliwhirl and Ledian. Anthony then repeated what he was doing before. “Poliwhirl ice beam!” About an hour later, Anthony shouted, “Use ice beam!” “Alright, it seems Ledian is getting used to the cold temperature, good thing it evolved, or else it might’ve taken longer for it to get used to the temperature. Ledian then finally got used to the temperature. “Alright Ledian, now I want you to start punching that huge tree, and when you destroy that tree, you should be able to absorb cold ice particles in the air to use ice punch.

Ledian then started to rapidly punch the huge tree. About an hour later, Ledian wasn’t punching as hard, but started to make a dent in the tree. Thirty minutes later Ledian finally gave out and collapsed. “Alright Ledian, time for us to call it a day.” Anthony then called back Ledian and walked to the Pokemon Center where he rested until the next day.

The next day around 7 o’ clock, Anthony quickly got up and started to train Ledian again. Ledian was still punching the tree, and the dent got a lot bigger. Ledian collapsed after two hours straight of punching the tree. Anthony then gave Ledian some food and water, and Ledian got back to work at punching the tree.

“I think it’s working, Ledian's fists are getting stronger, soon they’ll be able to absorb ice particles. Ledian then stopped punching the tree an hour later and took a nap on the grass with Anthony. “Alright, time to get up Ledian, how about we eat something?” Anthony said as he smiled. Ledian and Anthony then started to train after they ate. After they stopped training Anthony and his Pokemon went to bed.

The next day Anthony said, “Alright, now since all of you have been training hard, we’re going to take a day off of training.” Anthony, Phanpy, Ledian, and Poliwhirl then started to relax and enjoy their day off of training. Anthony was lying under a tree falling asleep as Poliwhirl was chasing Phanpy around. Ledian though, was still training wanting to perfect the ice punch.

About two hours later, there was a huge crash in Route 8. Anthony sprung up from sleeping and looked around to see what the noise was. Anthony then realized that Ledian had knocked over that huge tree that it’s been trying to destroy for the last couple of days.

“Nice job Ledian, now we can move onto the final part of the ice punch training.” Anthony said with this thumb up.

“Ledi-an”

“Alright Ledian, I want you to try to absorb the air particles, but only cold particles. If you can absorb only the cold particles then you should be able to use ice punch.”

Ledian then took a pose and started to concentrate air particles into its fists. About a couple of seconds later, Ledian felt a tingly feeling in its right fist and started to concentrate even harder. Then Ledian's fist started to glow a snowy blue color.

“Ledian you did it!” Anthony congratulated.

“Ledi-an”

Anthony and Ledian then went back to relaxing like Phanpy and Poliwhirl. Anthony then gathered all three of his Pokemon in a circle together and started to talk to them.

“Alright guys, tomorrow we’re going to challenge Erika for another badge, so I want you guys to give your best. The plan is going if it’s a 2 on 2 battle, then I'm going to use Poliwhirl and Ledian in that order. If it’s a 3 on 3 battle then I'm going to use Poliwhirl, Phanpy, and then Ledian.” Anthony explained.

Anthony then called back all three of his Pokemon and headed back to the Pokemon Center. Anthony then got some water to drink and fell asleep anxiously waiting for his gym battle the next day.

Nice chapter, I liked the battle you had with Erika, and Ledyba evolving into Ledian. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Divinity_123

shove 'er in! ;O
Om'kay, the whole Rob thing was strange. Maybe, you could've gave us clues to who he was rather than actually saying his name. I seriously would like to use the spoiler tags! LOLZ.

Ledian evolved, Poliwhirl learned Ice Beam, Anthony got his *** handed by Erika! LOLZ.

Btw, Anthony seems sort of random. He first has low self esteem, then he's confident, then he's a guy who all of a sudden likes to swear then he uses big vocabulary then he doesn't. Maybe you should have Anthony's personality constant. Just write down Anthony's traits on a pad and look at them when you're typing.

Anyways, you're still doing good ToD, good luck with your future chapters.

Laterz.

All Terrain Trainer
This story is bad at all, but your description isnt that great. You seem to pull things out of thin air. For example the Five Trainer Challenge. At then end of chapter 7, Anthony just comments out of the blue about the challenge. How did he know about the challenge? Did he read it off of a sign? Did some trainer tell him about it befor hand? And the training he gave Phanpy to use Dig. You also pulled it out of nowhere. You didnt specify when he gave Phanpy the training to use Dig. You also said that you didnt like to write long chapters, but majority of the fanfics here are long and provide great detail. I know you are a new writer, but i suggest that you start reading some of the other stories that are posted on the site. One good one to read is this

http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthr...366post4738366 Pokemon: Revolution Johto by Eon Master One. You need to see how he describes the places, people and Pokemon and the battles in his story. This story has good potential of becoming better. You need yourself a Beta Reader to help you out. Overall, I like Anthony as he doesnt seem to win alot of battles, but he needs to start winning more IMO. Well Ill review when you get your next chapter posted.
