Rock on.
A little comic I whipped up when I got bored. It stars Empoleon Dynamite and his posse.


Status: TEMPORARILY CLOSED.
Sorry. The computer I'd saved all my sprites and schtuff on got fried in a thunderstorm... It's gonna be a while before I get everything back together.

Cast O' Characters.

Empoleon is temperamental, short-fused, and very seclusive.
He is NOT very fond of others, especially the members of his 'posse'.
He is thrust into adventure when he meets Gregory, Prince of Lickiland.
His text bubbles are blue.

Metang is carefree, often making light of situations.
He and Buneary were the first members of Empoleon's 'posse'.
Though generally laid-back, he loses his cool when he, Buneary, and Empoleon arrive in Lickiland.
His text bubbles are grey.

Buneary is friendly, and speaks with a slight twang.
She and Metang were the first members of Empoleon's 'posse'.
Although Buneary is a girl, she has been mistaken for a guy.
Her text bubbles are brown.

Godzilla is the emobodiement of evil itself.
It is a creature of dark intentions, which at this point remain unknown.
It's whereabouts are unkown.
It's text bubbles are red.

Gregory is the Prince of Lickiland, and is very serious about his duties.
Gregory has a tendency to take everything seriously, and doesn't get Metang and Buneary's jokes.
He is the Prince that is destined to save Lickiland from He Whose Name is Hard to Pronounce.
His text bubbles are yellow-orange.

Ralph is King of Lickiland, but is a tad clueless at times.
He is the only Lickilicky in all of Lickiland.
His text bubbles are orange.

Nothing is known about this dark monster.
His text bubbles are dark grey.

Oh, and I know it's not very good, but it's my first try at this, so bear with me.

Not bad. The text was a bit hard to read though. I love the godzilla though.

Godzilla was inspired by my little brother, who stated he would catch a Caterpie, train it to lvl100, and name it Godzilla :D

I feel like the comics are too short. What do you think?

I recommend, instead of simply writing directly on your comic panel, using speech bubbles so that you can better separate dialogue from the background. Otherwise, you have potential here for a great comic.

THis comic is ok. Simple but the jokes are good.

Killer Squirtle: Lawl. He does seem like the tyrannical type sometimes. And, to quote the old Japanese expression, 'simplicity is perfection.'

Cursed: Hmm... Speech bubbles. Not a bad idea. But, I'm more then halfway through with the third comic, and I'm way too lazy to go back and edit. :D So bear with nigh unreadability for a little longer, kay? I'll fix it in no. 4, I promise.
