Lady Myuu
Damsel mostly Stressed.
Ok, before you read this, this little mini short story series is related to my oneshot:
You will be able to understand the characters better in the more serious storyline then this one is. And the others that will follow in this thread. Though small plots are forming and I think it will lead to a sort of climax.
Please read Gray before you read this! Its importent! its very short too...
Short One: Life’s day out
At a small outside café, at a round little table sat two beings of great importance. The people passed by with out noticing these strange beings as they were naked to the mortal and were invisible to most and all. The two forms sat there at the table, one with a cup of tea before her but unable to really drink it as she isn’t actually able to eat nor does she have arms to grip the tea (and her brother is still wondering how she placed a order for it in the first place).
Beside this child like being sat a shadow, well what seemed to be a very tall shadow that wasn’t 2d at all but very much in the 3d formation of this world and seemed to be a living silhouette. He was nearly seven feet tall at full height yet thin and looked to be rather stringy. He had no details of clothing or face at all as he was just a shadow to most. Now this tall black being held the news paper and seemed to be reading the news about a woman giving birth to her seventeenth child and how she was claiming to have the largest family in kanto. This was an interesting sight to most passersby as all they saw was a news paper open in a reading potion in thin air.
But being in the pokemon world many decided to either not question it or were to busy with there own lives to really care. Probably some ghost pokemon anyway. Now the child like creature with out arms had pure white skin, much like cotton or snow. Her hair that came from her head looked like pure silver that poured over her body like a fountain and censored her naked form as she was very much a naked child underneath. But while she had a human like body her legs looked much like a rabbits.
“Sister Life.” The deep booming voice of the sibling of Life spoke. “I did not know you were part rabbit” he said as he showed her the article.
She blinked in surprise as she glanced at the summary before replying with a wide child like grin. “I thought the feet would give it away, Death!” she giggled happily.
The shadow that was Death would have blinked if he had eyes, but instead he muttered, sighed and then just turned the page in the paper and went back into reading another article about a pokemon trainer and how she nearly got squashed by a snorlax. Now as this was going on and as a waiter came back with a tray full of some special cakes and deserts, the strange being known as life flouted up and out of her seat, the three foot tall deity then moved on as she began to follow the waiter chanting silently “Caaake” to herself.
This is what Death has to deal with whenever they are placed on special missions by Balance to correct wrongs on there planets. Death sighed not even looking to see what Life was doing.
“You don’t eat, Life.” He called out as she turned the page of the paper and continued to read, ignoring the five year old who seemed to have gotten free from his mother and now stared at the strange flouting paper as if it is possessed. Now as this was going on Death had not realized that Life had vanished from view into the back room and then he no longer even heard her strange giggles. At first this did not worry him as he was quite use to her vanishing for a few minutes.
But the shadow of death could not ignore this, as he felt his paper being tugged on he looked down at the child and once again if he had eyes he would have blinked.
“Who are you, mister? Are you a pokemon?” the five year old boy asked, his bright brown eyes glinting with well, boyness.
Death did not respond, as humans are not suppose to be able to see him and so he stared on at the child in such an alarmed way that if he had a face it would be a look of shock and horror. Thankfully he does not so we do not have to worry about describing it. But it was quite a face if he had one, yes it would be.
Now as this was going on and the Death deity had to figure out what to do with a five year old who could see him, Life had gotten a few blocks away as she now traveled after a pizza man. She sniffed the air with a smile of glee at the smell of the cheese pizza.
The man had absolutely no idea what followed him as he whistled happily as he walked down the path towards the building in which the pizza would be delivered too. Now as he drew closer to the house the pizza man did not know of a certain dog that lived in the yard, not a dog really a pokemon. This pokemon was a very overly protective elderly growlithe who had a taste for pizza man… and of course pizza. As the blonde haired blue eyed rather good looking lad entered the yard he was surprised to find that he had a new attachment to his leg.
A growlithe, that had decided that his leg was now its and would chew it tell it came off and it could go burry it in some place where it could forget it.
Now the reaction anyone would expect is a loud scream of pain and the pizza man running for his life leaving the cheese pizza to be devoured by said canine. But this was not so. The young pizza man began to walk, dog chewing the whole way as he headed for the front door.
Now this was a thrill for Life as she had never seen such a brave soul, facing a fire pokemon all in the name of delivering within half an hour. What an amazing creature’s humans must be if they could face pokemon with such little fear. Or the fact that the growlithe was so old that it had no teeth just gums might have helped a little. The young man rang the door bell and soon it opened to reveal a pleasant looking old woman who easily called off her vile beast of a dog, as Life began to call it and paid the young man for his trouble. The young man, a little over eighteen shrugged a little, holding the heat bag over his shoulder as he began to walk back the way he came.
Life stared with glee and joy and happiness and a little crush as she followed after her new favorite person to watch. She realized he had no damage to his leg and thought this man was perhaps a sort of god like herself. Maybe he was the god of ‘I can not feel pain at all.’ Or the god ‘No one can hurt me because I’m that good.’
Yes Life had a strange little mind, but she was a child at heart and did not understand really what was going on other then knowing she was the bringer of all life. Now the white child like form with the bright silver hair began to follow the pizza man back towards the pizza shop which is beside the very café her and Death had been at.
Now Death was having a problem, as it seemed when he started his search for Life the boy was beginning to follow him about. Like a lost duckling who would attach to any form it thought was its mother. Which was quite an odd thought as Death was quite the opposite of any mother. The deity of Death was beginning his search in the only place he would think Life would go, a candy shop. Which the five year old had agreed to be a good place to look, as candy shop always is to a five year old.
Now as Death walked about the place looking everywhere for his sister and praying she did not get into the chocolate as she was allergic to it, don’t ask how a mini god is allergic to anything but she is and tends to break out in stripes. Death searched every inch of the candy shop but still found nothing that looked anything like Life. He was ignoring the fact the child was now stuffing his face and stealing candy pretty much left and right.
Wasn’t his problem, though Death foresaw that his child Onen will be visiting this child soon when he has an early heart attack.
Death wasn’t much of a baby sitter, he was more of a keep to himself kind of guy, he wasn’t one for making friends or going to parties, then again he is Death. Not many really can see him and if they could they tend to run in fear.
The five year had had begun to run around the place, as he was sugar high and was nearly bouncing off the walls. Death continued to ignore him as he sighed worriedly.
“Balance isn’t going to like this.” He mumbled as he walked outside and ignored the five year old as he ran out past Death and off into someplace unknown. Death would work on how the child could see him later.
Just then a young man across the street with a red and blue pizza delivery shirt on passed a small store and was still whistling some insanely annoying tune. But Death really didn’t notice him as he did not notice many humans really but did notice that his sister was following after him.
“LIFE!” the brother scolded as he called out to his sister who had a three second memory it seemed. The child like being known as Life turned and tilted her head and gave a girl.
“Brother!” she called happily as she began to cross the street. Oh the joy Life felt as seeing her long lost brother again (was he lost? She forgot… three second memory here) while Death was just glad she didn’t go off to Johto or something. He waited with a look of impatience… will if he had a face that’s what the look would be. One must learn to use the imagination when it comes to Death.
Now as Life was about to cross the street and had seemed to forgotten her new love (the pizza man) the five year old boy darted out into it running for the crazy white rabbit with a lot of silver hair. As this happened it seemed the street had suddenly become busy as cars began to hit the breaks and screech to a halt. One thing led to another and before either Death or Life knew it there was a five car pile up and a five year old clinging to Life like a doll looking oblivious to the near life changing experience.
Life had the same look of unknowing on her face as she just screeched happily at the young child clinging to her and began to spin around in the air, lifting the boy off his feet and around. The child giggled happily at this and clung even tighter declaring Life his new best friend.
Death on the other hand just stared at the cars, as he could sense about three people were dead and many others were injured, he could see out of the corner of his eyes (what eyes?) that Onen, the pokemon of death was near by and was awaiting to gather the souls to take them to the final resting place. The two’s faces met and Death knew it was time for him and Life to move on before there children thought they were imposing on the pokemon’s duties.
“Sister come.” Death called, ignoring the fact that much pain and death had accrued before him. But he was Death, he was use to it. Life called after her brother with a giggle as she came flouting along, the five year old still clinging to her like a doll.
