The AI in Pokemon

There's a trainer in the battle chateau that uses a sunny day + solarbeam talonflame. I have to admit that it at least caught me off guard lol...

Starting from generation 3 the trainers started to use Potions on Pokémon. I wonder whether the AI will use Revive in later generations. I am against the idea of using healing stuff in battles since this just lengthens the time of battling and the winner is whoever owns more Potion. But if they use Potion then I think it is possible to use Revive.

Oh please no. I hope to heck this doesn't happen, ever. Battles will take longer than they already do and will waste more time than potions do.

Speaking of which, I've noticed the AI in later generations especially use all their potions on one Pokémon, making it easy to take out the rest. The AI have become a little more careless with the potions I've noticed.

That is the reason why I against the idea of using Potion. It is just a waste of time. Using all potions on one Pokémon does not make the battle easier for me. Especially when I usually knock out all the easy Pokémon in one hit then the trainers uses all the potions on his/ her strongest Pokémon.

Sure the begining generations had dumb AI, but that changed a bit in later generations, as along the graphic, sound and gameplay, the AI was also improved.
