We are a clan based on flying-type pokemon. We have lots of battles here, and its a place to have fun as well!
The Birth of the Airborne Aces:
Its always been a bird pokemon's dream to be able to soar high into the skies, beyond our dear planet. The majority of the flying pokemon could barely make it to the clouds. But there were three pokemon who refused to give, who refused to say, "No I can't do it." Pidgeot, Swellow, and Togekiss spread out and expanded their wings as far as they could. They took off and blasted through the clouds and went far beyond the skies. Legend says that they never returned, but are always presiding in the stars, over all flying pokemon hoping to find their hidden potential and soar through the skies.

CHAT

6. If someone says something in the main chat that offends you, IGNORE THEM, do NOT reply. If it offends you on a personal level, tell a MOD or Leader and they will be asked to stop. If they do not, further action WILL be taken. If you have to argue with the person, do it in Private Chat so the rest of us don’t have to deal with it.
7. Avoid excessive use of the CAPS. If you're trying to say something with EXCITEMENT then that's completely fine, but CAPS-locking every line and just yammering on randomly may result in a Warning.

We are a clan made up of many ages from 10 all the way to 24, and content like that does not belong in our chat. In order to rank up, you must have a certain number of EXP points:
Just as Pokemon must earn a certain amount of Experience Points (EXP) to level up or evolve, Airborne Aces must prove themselves by winning battles against other members in order to Rank Up. The way this works is that each member who joins AA is tested in battle by one of the aforementioned Test Battlers. After their battle they are assigned a Hatchling Tier Rank, and from there they must continue to win battles, earning EXP along the way, until they have enough to Rank Up to the next highest rank. Depending on the Hatchling Tier Rank you are assigned, you will be given a certain base amount of EXP and AF (this number will be determined soon), and regardless of which of the three you are given, the next rank for you will be Unfezant and the only difference being that someone in Hoothoot would need to win a few more battles to have the EXP needed to rank up. However, in addition to needing enough EXP to reach the next rank, members must also have enough Ace feathers (AF) in order to challenge for a Rank Up Battle against someone designated for that.
The EXP System is rather simple: you will earn a set amount of EXP when you win(The amounts will be posted shortly), and if you lose- 10% of what you would have gained will be deducted from your EXP total(This goes for all official battles, both Rank Up and regular), however you will still earn some AF. In addition, we will also have periodic "Double EXP Weekends" in which members will have the opportunity to accrue TWICE the amount of EXP per match than they normally would!
Once you have enough points, you must challenge a member in the rank(s) above yours. Be sure to declare your challenge in a POST. Rank Up Matches will be conducted in a best two out of three format. If you are successful in the battles, you are awarded to the next rank. If not, you must recollect your points and wait one week to try again. In order to rank up for the first time, members must have been an active participant in the clan, in the forums and the chat, for at least two full weeks. Also, each subsequent rank up match must be at least two weeks apart from the previous one. Members who have access to wifi are encouraged to conduct their rank up and the bulk of their official matches on WIFI, not on PO, unless the member they are battling does not have Wifi. Also, feel free to upload any of your matches via the Battle Video Upload option on the 2nd floor of the Pokemon center-it's the chick standing next to the globe on the far right. Anyone who posts their battle videos on to YouTube is likely to receive AF and/or EXP bonuses.

Once you become a member of the Airborne Aces, you will receive 150 Ace Feathers (AF). Please note that the Leaders will start with 250 AF. In the Airborne Aces, you can redeem your AF for either items and/or pokemon at our Clan Shop, or trade them in for special services that we offer (see the EV Training and Breeding Services section). There are multiple ways for your to AF count change. Here's how:
- Defeating a member of the clan (50 AF)
- Defeat a clan leader (125 AF)
- Referring another person to the clan (50 AF)
- Ranking up (100 AF)
- Banner Making (up to 300 AF)
- Donating Pokemon to the Clan Shop (??AF)(The value depends on the quality of what's being donated)
- When challenging for a Rank Up Match, a set amount of AF is deducted from your total
In addition to these methods of collecting AF, we've also added the ability to gain AF upon losing regular battles as well. The amount you gain is stated in the list below:
-(1-0) and (2-0) = 30 AF
-(3-0) = 20 AF
-(4-0) = 15 AF
-(5-0) = 10 AF
-(6-0) = 0 AF
Also, if you do exceptionally well in a battle, you will receive AF bonuses. You'll get a 25% bonus by winning 4-0 or 5-0. You'll get a 50% bonus for winning 6-0.

HEY AA people! VetX here with a little bit of fun for us to have. I've got a simple yet entertaining event for you all and here it is: If pokemon were real/if you lived in the Pokemon World, then--

In the Airborne Aces, you can redeem your AF for either items and/or pokemon at our Clan Shop, or trade them in for special services that we offer (see the EV Training and Breeding Services section). There are multiple ways for your to AF count change. Here's how:
- Defeating a member of the clan (50 AF)
- Defeat a clan leader (125 AF)
- Referring another person to the clan (50 AF)
- Ranking up (100 AF)
- Banner Making (up to 300 AF)
- Donating Pokemon to the Clan Shop (??AF)(The value depends on the quality of what's being donated)
- When challenging for a Rank Up Match, a set amount of AF is deducted from your total
In addition to these methods of collecting AF, we've also added the ability to gain AF upon losing regular battles as well. The amount you gain is stated in the list below:
-(1-0) and (2-0) = 30 AF
-(3-0) = 20 AF
-(4-0) = 15 AF
-(5-0) = 10 AF
-(6-0) = 0 AF
Also, if you do exceptionally well in a battle, you will receive AF bonuses. You'll get a 25% bonus by winning 4-0 or 5-0. You'll get a 50% bonus for winning 6-0.

Make your answers thoughtful and accurate to what you think you'd be like. You can have pokemon of all one type or not, it's up to you. Also, try seriously to avoid choosing pokemon that someone else has already picked; we want to make this interesting, though it's not absolute I would REALLY like EVERYONE in AA to participate in this to get an idea of who is active and such. I will be compiling a list of everyone's choices.

I, alongside Firestar, Mr.Amazing, Puretrainer, and DLord, help to keep all of our members in check, in shape, and in a constant state of learning. Firestar and I will be taking care of any and all updates that are to be made to the First Post (FP) ,^see above post, unless we see fit to ask for another leader’s assistance. So, why am I making a speech? This is just a Pokemon clan, right? Yeah, but I feel that we as Leaders should set an example for you all. Therefore we will each introduce ourselves and tell you a little bit about what we bring to the clan and what to go to each of us for if you have questions, concerns, compliments, verbal abuse, whatever floats your boat. It’s important and just good stuff to know.
