Think about it. He poorly dubs names and voices to the point our ears hurt, or we groan from corny puns. He takes out all the funny things and kiddyfies them. Just because he doesn't want it to be Japanese oriented. We need to learn their culture, take the good, sift out the bad, teach it to our children, and better our ideals. It's easy, but Kahn refuses to give us our desires because he has his "Grand-Educational-Family-Friendly-Agenda" (GEFFA). Well I say f**k that. In the grand scheme of things, he'll create more racism among us all and cause another Hiroshima, another Holocaust. Something terrible. He's planting bigotry and xenophobia in children under 8 by taking a Japanese market and sucking out all of the culture, and soliciting his sinister finished goods to those innocent naive kids. In my opinion, he's worse than Hamas, Bin Laden, Saddam, al-Zarqawi, Kim Jong Il, and Ann Coulter put together.

That's because this is America...

Besides, you can't really expect young children to understand aspects of foreign culture. Shows are altered just so they can be easily understood. Children's shows in Japan are different than children's shows in America. Let's not forget the over-zealous adults who complain about things that aren't part of the norm.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like things cut out or watered down. But does it really matter when it concerns shows aimed at children. All that matters in this case is that the viewers, no matter the age, get the basic gist of what's going on. Learning about different cultures is great and all, but school would have to do that, not television, especially when it's a purely fictional setting.

All this "we need" stuff is totally up to opinion, by the way.

I supposed this'll be locked soon...

When you compare him to names like those, he's not that bad...

Doesn't stop shows like Digimon from featuring American kids with American names who speak English as well as Japanese. Hell, even Japan has a variety of Japanese and English names. o_O

And I'll be closing this for terrible comparisons. DeceptiKahn may be a jackass (especially with his comment about kids not reading and manga being expendable), but he's not on the same level as terrorists.
