Bewear my power
Okay, so I didn't think that anyone here in the fanfic section has heard of Ben 10. I may not have seen X3 just yet, but that doesn't mean I can put Ben 10 into X1 and X2.
By the way, this part of the trilogy takes place in X1.
So...after rating this PG-13, I give you...
Chapter 1:
Ben Tennyson is a mischievous ten-year-old boy. He used to be ordinary, until one summer, when he, out of the blue, received an alien, watch-like device from space. It was called the Omnitrix, and, after latching itself onto Ben’s left wrist, it allowed him to change into eleven different aliens.
There was Heatblast, an alien made entirely of fire, Wildmutt, an alien cross between a porcupine and a wild dog, Diamondhead, a crystalline alien with a body harder than diamond, XLR8, a speedy racer alien, and Grey Matter, a five-inch tall alien with supreme intelligence.
There was also Fourarms, a giant alien with an extra pair of arms, Stinkfly, a giant winged insect alien, Ripjaw, an alien cross between an angler fish and a human, Ghostfreak, a ghost-like alien with invisibility powers, Upgrade, a alien made of living metal that can fuse with and “upgrade” electrical devices, and finally, Cannonbolt, an alien with the power to curl up into an armadillo-like ball.
Ben had discovered Cannonbolt long after the first ten aliens. He used the form of Cannonbolt to kill a giant space tick that was capable of contaminating and ingesting a planet. After familiarizing himself with the armadillo-like alien’s form, Ben used Cannonbolt again to defeat Kevin, a power-absorbing mutant who, before permanently becoming a cross between the first ten of Ben’s aliens, was a sort of rival to the bearer of the Omnitrix.
Ben had just defeated the now freakish version of Kevin with the assistance of a government officer named Lieutenant Steel. Steel hit Kevin with a bazooka which, despite not killing the hybrid monster, knocked him into the ocean outside the Golden Gate Bridge.
While traveling through New York, Ben had received an invitation to attend a Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Not liking the thought of going to a school in the summer, Ben protested, but his cousin, Gwen Tennyson, and his grandfather, Max Tennyson, made him change his mind.
Ben was currently XLR8, his main mode of transportation. The creature was the size of a human teenager, but wore a racing suit with a head that was pointed back to a point. A blue, dinosaur-like tail with horizontal black stripes was on his butt. Three razor-sharp claws were his fingers, and his arms were coated blue. A black visor with blue vision spots covered the alien’s face, hiding yellow eyes with a black-rimmed mouth.
The torso of XLR8 was white, with wide, black streaks lining the sides. On his chest was a circle with a white hourglass-like shape in the middle, which was the emblem of the Omnitrix. His legs were coated blue, right down to the feet, which, when Ben wanted to stop, sprouted small, metal balls that allowed XRL8 to stop quickly.
XLR8 was very fast. He could run at what quite possibly would be mach two. Knowing that the people of New York didn’t like any form of unfamiliar creature very much, Ben pulled into an empty alley nearby and stopped, creating very large indented streaks in the ground.
He pulled out a piece of paper with the school’s address listed on it. The address was:
1407 Graymalkin Lane
Salem Center
Westchester County
New York
United States of America.
XRL8 sighed in a raspy voice.
“If I was Grey Matter,” he said, continuing in his raspy voice “I’d probably be there by now! Eh, go with what works, I guess.”
He ran off again, his body nothing but a blue-and-black blur to the people around him.

Several minutes later, Ben arrived at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. After waiting for the Omnitrix to run out of power and forcefully change him back to his human form, Ben walked across the concrete sidewalk of the school grounds.
Ben was not very tall, but he was easy to recognize. His hair was brown, sort of short, and just slightly spiked. His eyes were a light green, and his shirt was white with a black streak down the middle and two on the ends of the shortened sleeves. His pants were black, and his shoes were also black with white streaks and green streaks at the ends.
The Omnitrix was also black, and looked like a fancy watch from first glance, but the part where the hands would be displayed was replaced by a circle with the white hourglass shape in it. Instead of white, however, the hourglass shape glowed a fading red. Green buttons lined the center circle, for just about no known purpose.
“This looks like the place.” Ben said in a normal ten-year-old voice “Might as well see what’s up.”
As he walked up to the school, Ben saw some kids playing basketball. One of the kids, who had blonde hair and glasses, vanished in a yellow light and reappeared in another part of the basketball field, dodging the attempts of other kids to take the ball. He repeated the process several times, finally launching the ball into the basket to score.
“Hey, no powers!” one of the other kids yelled.
Ben just stared.
“Ooooooookay.” he said “Am I the only one who thinks that was just weird? Then again, a kid that can turn into eleven aliens is kinda weird, too, if ya think about it.”
Ben continued on in, and found himself face-to-face with an African-American woman with white hair, a black robe, and a black suit with gloves.
“Uh, who are you exactly?” Ben asked, unsure of who this woman was.
“I’m Ororo Munroe,” the woman responded “but my codename is Storm. Are you a Ben Tennyson?”
“Yeah,” Ben answered “why’re you asking?”
“I’m a teacher here at Xavier’s.” the woman, now known as Storm, answered “We’ve been waiting for you, and Professor Xavier, founder of the school, wants to meet you.”
Ben didn’t say anything. He was starting to have his doubts about responding to the letter. But, before he could do anything else, the woman called Storm led him inside and into the main office, where a bald man in a wheelchair with large, silver X’s on the wheels awaited them.
“Ah, Mr. Tennyson, how nice to see you.” said the man “You may leave us now, Ororo.”
The woman named Storm left, and closed the door behind her.
“Welcome to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, Benjamin.” the man said “I am Professor Charles Xavier, and I founded this school.
“I can already tell that you have questions about the school, Benjamin.” the man, whose name was revealed to be Xavier, continued “Rest assured, I shall answer them all.”
“Okay, first, what’s the deal with the teleporting kid outside on the basketball field?” Ben asked, pointing towards the door as he said the previous “And why’s that woman have a codename? And why’s it ‘Storm’, anyway?”
“Ah, the most commonly asked question.” said Xavier “Do not worry, you are not the first to ask this. I can answer all your questions with two answers. The first being that this school is what one may call a training ground for superheroes. This is the reason that many of the students here have codenames.
“As for your second question, about the teleporting child, who I must tell to stop using his powers during a basketball game, it can be answered simply.” Xavier continued “You see, Benjamin, Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters is a school…for Mutants and Mutates.”

At the same time Ben was traveling to the school as XLR8, a large, dark entity was moving through the ocean outside Liberty Island, where New York’s pride, the statue of Liberty, resided. The entity came closer to the land, and, as it climbed out, the world wished it stayed in the water, mainly because the creature was extremely hideous.
It was a little over twelve feet tall, with faded, red skin on its torso, head and legs. Its right eye was large and green with what appeared to be a subtraction symbol as the pupil, whereas on the other side of the creature’s face, two smaller, yellow eyes rested. Between the eyes was an angler fish’s lure, and black, long hair covered the back and top of the creature’s head.
The monster’s back was black, with streaks of light green that traveled in many different directions. Four light green, gossamer, insect-like wings sprouted out of the beast’s back, enabling it to fly. A tail exactly like that of XLR8 sprouted from the creature’s behind, and the rest of the butt area, especially the front, was covered by a black, torn toga. Black cracks ran from the monster’s shoulders down to the legs.
The monster had four arms. The upper right arm was green and crystalline, whereas the upper left arm was made of red stone, and had magma running between the cracks and through the stone-less hand. Both of the lower arms were covered in orange fur, and had three fingers with sharp, black nails that resembled claws.
This hideous monstrosity was Kevin, the mutated monster that Ben and Lieutenant Steel had defeated on top of the Golden Gate Bridge.
“Nrrrrrghh!” Kevin growled, revealing that his canines had become larger and sharper, now resembling fangs “That stupid kid! And that worthless army lieutenant! I would’ve killed Ben if that idiot didn’t get in the way!”
“And who might you be?” asked an old man’s voice.
A man wearing a black outfit and a red cloak with helmet to match stepped out of the shadows. His helmet had an “M” engraved onto the top, just above the facial spot.
“Name’s Kevin, old man.” said the monstrosity that was Kevin “Now who’re you?!”
“Calm yourself, boy.” said the man “I am Magneto, and I will bring a new world order. One that will appreciate mutants for what they are. I am leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Will you join?”
“Hmm…” hummed Kevin “New world order, eh? One that actually likes mutants…okay then, ‘Magneto’, ya’ve got a deal. What am I s’possed to do first?”
The man named Magneto smiled a cruel smile.
