The reason they blocked t-pic is because it sometimes redistributes URLs. If you don't know what that means, it's basically it taking the URL of a picture and giving it to another - which could lead to your harmless Pikachu banner being replaced by hardcore porn.
@keldmin: No computer likes Photobucket. I personally use postimage.org Quick and easy, with the only drawback being that it doesn't seem to work well with .gifs. I need to use another site for those. I used to use t-pic, but guess I need to go to imgur too.
Well, I see why it's blocked. -_-
I still just leave .gifs alone, since
a) Can't find a good tutorial on youtube (to be fair, it's not like I've searched every corner of it), and
b) From the *very limited* knowledge I have of .gifs, you would have to move each individual frame, and I haven't found an easy way to do that (although I try to stay away from the "confusing" aspects of GIMP, aka channels, paths, and the like), but maybe that's how you do it. :/ (Wow, just made myself feel like a n00b there.)
I haven't actually gotten any negative rep points, but when I logged on this morning, I had a rep points notification, but it was just a positive one for this thing I posted in the Open Request thread (lots of banner work was being requested over there, and since my art shop is dead, I figured why not). It's nothing special, and I'm not too proud of the cutting job. :/
EDIT: Well, it seems I jinxed myself. Just got a neg rep with a comment of "The thread is for art, but every post is about rep" THIS POST IS THE FIRST TIME I MENTIONED THE DANG THING! >_<
