He might mean 'What do you think of the charactors' as in, not shippings, but what do you think how they battle, their appearence and uh...those kind of stuff.

But May_Eevee, if I'm wrong, then this isn't a Shippings Discussion either way. There's a Shipping Discussion in the Shippers Community

I like how May and Ash battles, and they keep learning from their mistakes. They keep believing in themselves, and that's how they achieved what they have today =D I also like their appearences, and all those stuff. xP

But if you really want to know whether I like the pairing...

Nope. I prefer May and Drew, Ash and Misty better. But that doesn't mean I'm against May and Ash, I just prefer Contest and Pokeshipping more.

They're both great characters. Ash is a competent Trainer with lots of experience behind him, and May is a blossoming newbie who's becoming better and better as she goes. So yeah, they're both awesome leading characters =)

There both awesome in there own way. Ask for shippyingness I prefer Abiltyshipping and Orangeshippying over all. But if I had to choose between May and Ash ships I'd choose Advancedship.

I hate them both. I'd say why, but people would just come back saying that I'm an idiot that doesn't know what I'm talking about. :/ It gets kind of sad when I can't post my opinion for fear of being flamed.

I like Ash but loathe May. Simple as that. Ash is a great main character despite being a blatant shouen stereotype, and his character has persevered as a competent main. May grates on me. So half and half
