Do you like using different Pokemon in battle? Do you not care about type matchups or strong moves? Do you battle just for fun and not training? Then join the Battle Different club! A club where you can chat about your recent fights. I even might put a "Fighting Challenge" for you to do. A "Fighting Challenge" is when I tell you to use a certain Pokemon in battle. Then you must tell about the battle in detail. It's just mostly about battling with the Pokemon that you love.

Question:What was your most amazing battle

Usually when I fight high level wild Pokemon, training Char, a Charmeleon. Sometimes my other Pokemon have low HP, and that's amazing how i beat the wild Pokemon.

This is such a good idea. Often, I get tired of people putting others' teams just because they aren't using the most competitive pokemon. People shouldn't be put down because they use the pokemon they like. They should be commended. If you can still have fun, then you win no matter what, because you got an enjoyable experience out of it.

I, personally, use Beedrill. I don't care if Beedrill doesn't have the best stats, it's still cool because its a giant bee, and bees are scary. What's even better is that it can even prove itself to be useful in battle sometimes. <3 Beedrill.

Oh, and I definitely want to join.

i'm just plain freaky! can i join?
i've heard that my favorite pokemon, Torkoal [of course] has been getting a bad rap. why does everyone hate Torkoal!? Am i the only one here who can see the power, the beauty, and the grace of this awe inspiring pokemon?

One of the better battles I had would have to be against my friend Jason. I even had it saved on my Battle Record for a time.

The first pokemon we pull out is my Kindgra against his Arcanine. I try to Hydro Pump, but I miss and he gets off an ExtremeSpeed. I try again, but I get flinched by Bite. I try again, and I am KOed on the third turn by Critical Hit Extremespeed.

His Arcanine manages to take out my next pokemon before I can take it out, and I'm already down by two. I figure that the battle is over, but I keep trying anyway. Later on in the battle I send out my Scyther. I get off a Silver Wind and get the bonus! Yes! But then Jason brings out Zapdos. This is a bad situation for me. I don't want to switch Scyther out because I got the stat-up bonus, plus, I don't want to switch into an attack with any of my pokemon. Unfortunately, the only attacks my Scyther had are ineffective against Zapdos. I attack the turn and survive the Drill Peck because of the boosted defense, attack with Silver Wind, and get the boost again! I do some extra damage to Zapdos before Scyther is finally taken down.

I eventually win the battle, but I forget how. I wish I hadn't taken off my battle record.

now that there is a decent amount of people i think its time to start a topic so here's a simple one: What is your basic strategy when battling? me i like to set up my team so that they can take on any pokemon instead of wasting the move slots required to balance each person. i like Charizard and Torkoal, and pretty much use them to blast the hell out people. i also like Gengar, Alakazam, Primeape, Raichu, Marowak, and others. i'm fond of certain moves too like Blast Burn, Overheat, Shock Wave, Mega Punch/ Kick, even Metronome, and once again many, many others. i think we have a topic, agree?

Agree.

I just hurt the opponent Pokemon, use status attacks to cause status conditon, and rarely I use moves that ehance speed or lower attack, those kind of moves I don't really use.

I try to set up one of my various strategies. Mostly try to get off my Substitute/Endeavor Beedrill strategy. It's fun when it works.
