The Battle of Time (PG-13)

Plot
History….it is defined as the discovery, collection, organization, and presentation of information about past events. Time, it is the temporal position of events with respect to the transitory present is continually changing; future events become present, then pass further and further into the past. Time has been a major subject of religion, philosophy, and science, but defining it in a non-controversial manner applicable to all fields of study has consistently eluded the greatest scholars...
It was a dark night at a University in Sweden when Professor Jason Smith and his assistants Sam Harrington and Diana Finn decided to build a time machine to see the future and the past. To gather information that was never previously seen by the world or written in books. Right now though, you are enjoying the year 2008. Where there is a battle in the console war, Michael Phelps was gunning the Summer Olympics and where technology reigned supreme.
Professor Jason Smith decided to call 10 different college students from all over the world. Two from North America, Three from Europe, One from Oceania, One from Africa, Two from Asia and one from South America to try out this machine and help them map the past and the future. This was for his studies and to help the common good of society. He never thought about it being used for greed and evil schemes but that is a given.
You received the chance for an interview which meant that you have the opportunity to make history. However you had to pass it but there was your chance to make history and to see things that you have never seen before. You were excited, Prof. J Smith paid for your accommodation and flights and you were out of there. However it wasn’t all roses as before you came; there was a fight between Professor Jason Smith and his assistants. They wanted to be paid more, it was greed. They wanted to do that job instead of what they called “Punk useless slackers.” Professor Jason Smith had nothing of it, so he disabled to machine and kept the keycard with him. He told them about helping society and not changing it. That was the switched Diana and Sam needed.
They wanted to create their own empires and become the most powerful people in the universe. They knew the prime place was the start of the human race and build from there to become the Queen and King of the world and have their bloodlines control the world but for that they needed to go back in time. So what else could they do? Well they knew that the time machine that Professor Jason Smith built and that would be the key to controlling of the world. If they couldn’t gain any money from this, then they should control the money of the world.
In the middle of the night, Diana and Sam kidnapped Jason and basically stole his card and with that they enabled the machine. They were ready to take over the World rule with greed, power and blood. They didn’t however count the Professor changing the settings to avoid any security breach. Now they were cross hopping throughout time trying to find the beginning of the Human Race. Professor Jason Smith woke up after being knocked out and found out that Sam and Diana betrayed him.
However luckily for him, he knew that the college students from around the World were coming and he had to enlist their help, to save the past, present and the future. He told you about the mission and he told them that he could locate his assistants. You all come from different background and you have to work together. You thought about it this being fun and as a trip. He also tells you that you have a chance to die (even though you won’t) and to be ready for the unexpected. He tells you to brace yourself about culture shock and different eras.
Will you take the challenge and save the world?

What you have to do
Well you are time travelers. You will explore and just interact with the situations that may be part of history or something of a domino effect that was caused by assistants. So basically it is more interaction than action.
You are also given a communication that looks like an IPhone by Professor Smith as communication only with him. Also don't hook up with your grandmother (heh)

Favorite Era: Pick any decade or period. Heck if your character loves Sci-fi then you can pick future. It just means that you will be given tougher tasks or you will be an advantage with knowledge in the situations.

Interview: You have an interview with either Diana or Sam. They haven't planned their evil quest. 300 words on an interview just to see how you are I guess. The interview is basically why should you be one of the 10 and a little about yourself and your background
