Probably not? Cuz a few moments later, Fuecoco was back to fighting Tepen's Pokemon with Sprigatito, lol.

Maybe it was just temporarily knocked out by but quickly stood back up again.

Does Floragato’s loss against Katy count? It was an official battle after all
I don't think so cuz Katy called it early, she didn't wait for it to actually be over and Floragato didn't have swirly eyes. Today's episode showed that if the Pokémon faints after terastlizing it will have the swirly eyes and Floragato didn't.

I feel like the anime has been inconsistant with swirly eyes before. If Tera is anything like how they treated Megas. The fact the Terastalization dissapeared seems like a good sign of a faint.

Not really, plus in the case of official battles there is usually a rep who calls the battle for one side or the other. In this case they just said the battle is over.

This series has been pretty consistent with the swirly eyes=fainting lol.

Absolutely, you've got it spot on.

When a Pokémon's crown cracks, it symbolizes their defeat in battle just like the game. It's a common visual cue used in the game trainer battles to cinematically indicate the outcome of a battle. Also, defeated Pokémon often don't display swirly eyes, like Friede's Lizardon against Rayquaza. This omission is due to the seriousness of the situation and the context of the characters involved, which might not warrant such a lighthearted visual cue. It's all about creative decisions that fit the tone and narrative of the scene.

First time looking at this thread....I think a "few" things (understatement™) things are missing, need to be removed, need to be added, need to be rearranged, etc.

Well feel free to tell me what you think needs to be changed, I'm open to feedback.

Roy's Hogator's Terastalization disappeared before the outcome was revealed from the battle against Colza's Usokki. Not a valid reason to count it as sign of faint.

1. Had Usokki survived the last Trailblaze and Flame Charge showdown, the battle pretty much would be called off.

2. Had Hogator's Terastalization dissapeared AFTER the outcome was revealed, then yeah.

But there's a difference between a natural detrasnforming due to the fight being finished and the crown bursting because the Pokemom was subdued. The games illustrate that in battle pretty explicitly. Lizardon KO'd Soublades and organically destransformed; meanwhile Rayquaza shattered it's crown.

I mean... it's a natural effect it's not like roy is the one that made it vanish. It's like how Mega evolution worked, it can just... tell when a battle is over, somehow.
