The Best Part of your Day

wintercouldmelt

But you can just call me "Winter"
I have a similar problem my favorite hobby only has local matches are 7pm wednesdays (not sponsored wit major events) in my country
(i dont have a car, but buses are here)
Being a aspiring adult male Pokemon Trading Card player since 50% of the time my overprotective parents i live with don't want me leaving the house without a accompanying person to things like events. I'm mostly limited to my 1 weekend friend.
Being stuck with epilepsy/seizure risk limiting me to house safety or workplace 70% of the week stinks and they are overprotective since my parents hate hospitals and assessments appointments with medical overview doctors (i don't even seizures that often, mostly staring seizures)
I feel that! Spending too much time at work would already be a drag in and of itself without the health and family problems (the latter apparently being more of a issue than the former). I'm sorry for you, and I hope you figure out a way to break this loop. Life shouldn't be just work-home-work-home. A guy needs his fun.

Indeed *pouts and grumbles*
Problem is most people i know just wind down and relax instead of finding services where a person could be a accompanying person even i i had to be the one to pay for both to be there.
The pokemon singles buying store starting these nights at 7 after their closing hours but they have their own playing hall)
Finding a trustworthy apartment co-renting partner is hard...if they decide to leave the out of the rental contract later leaving me hanging.

The city help services for disabled persons has too slow wait lists. And hiring a home helper that can make daily visits to check on me if i am alright at least is essential.
Waiting for these things so i can move out from parent rules sucks.
