The Best Series

So guys, what do you think is the best game series.......

Is it the R/S/E series or FR/LG series?

I like RSE more as it takes place in the Hoenn region and I like the pokemons found there. And this series has also got many more goddies that FRLG like Battle Frontier.

So what about you? What do you like?

RSE > GSC > FRLG > RBY.

RSE is just cooler in pretty much every way. there's more legends to catch, the storyline is original, etc. with FR/LG, you seriously feel that you've done it all before. because you have. battle tower/frontier is cool too, and the new starters are better than the old ones.

I like R/S/E more, because it had a better plot to the game. Two rival teams trying to revive two powerful legendaries to change the world to their liking. . .

Plus, as you said, R/S/E had the Battle Tower (Battle Frontier, if you're playing Emerald).

I like Hoenn A LOT more than Kanto, more things to do and hard things to get.
Hoenn starters >>>>> Kanto starters,
Hoenn Pokémon >>>>> Kanto Pokémon,
Hoenn creativity >>>>> Kanto creativity (if it had some...), etc.

The ONLY good thing in Kanto is that we can get Jolteon, but when Pokémon XD came, it took it´s place.

But don´t forget about Gold/ Silver/ Crystal, they deserve our attention! IMO ther were slighty better than ruby/sapphire.

R/S/E... and in particular, Emerald and its Battle Frontier. However I like the addiction of the Sevii Islands on FR/LG.

Neither. I like GSC the most. But, out of those, FrLg. RSE felt too much like all the things I dislike about the anime. You're the "chosen one" who has to save the world, blah, blah, blah. FrLg you're pretty much any old trainer, and you beat Team Rocket through your skill and luck, not by being "chosen."

R/S/E, Emerald is the best Pokemon game released so far IMO. Hoenn has better Pokemon, the Battle Frontier and TEAM MAGMA.

they should make a Hybred game with all of the best features from all of the games (IMO) :
Yellow: Pikachu starter, can get all other starters
G/S/C: bug contest, night/day pokemon, radio station
R/S/E: two rival/evil teams fighting for ancient pokemon, mixing records, contests, berry planting
Emerald: Battle Frontier
FR/LG:Sevii Islands

now THAT would be a fun game, you could also pick ANY of the 9 starters so far in known existance. That game would be a BLAST!

I do play my Emerald/Sapphire/Ruby more then my FR/LG. So Yeah, I do like that series more.

R/S/E It has cooler Pokes IMO. It also has some new kinds of towns and cities, and is the only region to use Dive(so far) it also grows berries which FR/LG does not.
I think this goes in Pokepoles.

Plus, Team Magma is in R/S/E and my birthstone is Sapphire.

The fact that this is in the R/S/E section is going to create biased results.

But, I vote LG/FR. I like the pokemon better and I find the game balance and story more interesting. The Elite Four is more challenging and I like the main character designs more.

I like both. RSE has great Pokemon but FRLG has sentimential value. Its just like the good old days when you had RBYG.

Voted RSE tho.

FR/LG was the best... it took you to a new part of the region (sevii islands) and i personally like the original 150 pokemon better than the new RSE pokemon
