I heard dig's Japanese name, so yes Growlie did use dig.

Edit: It also helps in comparison because Ash ordered Monferno to use dig in the beginning of the episode. So when you hear James saying the same thing Ash did, then yes it's dig and Growlie can use it.

When you post something WITHOUT evidence even though the first post quite clearly says that you have to, only to expect someone to post the same thing WITH evidence, it's spamming.
