The Champions, as well as the Challengers, are allowed to use up to 2 legendary Pokemon if they wish.
2.) Clauses to be enforced in matches are as follows:
Sleep Clause: Once you put our opponent's Pokémon to sleep by any means (hypnosis, sleep powder, spore etc) you cannot place another in any "sleep" status until that one has woken up. This will result in a DQ of the match.(Note, your opponent putting his/her own Pokémon to sleep does not affect this clause)

1.) There are 18 gyms with 2 separate leagues that consist of 9 gyms each, unlike other leagues all 9 gym badges are required to battle the Elite 4. The Champion can only be challenged once a trainer acquires all 9 badges and has defeated all the members of the Elite 4. Each league has there own separate Gym Leaders, Elite 4 and Champion, you can only challenge the Elite 4 if you have acquired all 9 badges of either league. In other words if you have 9 or more badges but only have 8 or less from either league you cannot challenge the Elite 4, the same thing applies to the Elite 4 if you want to challenge the Champions.
2.) If a challenger loses a battle he/she may switch up to 1 Pokémon for every loss, challengers are however allowed to switch move sets and items.
3.) Counter teams are not allowed, and Gym Leaders/Elite members may decline the battle should they determine your team to be one. A counter team is defined as having 4 or more Pokémon of a type that would be super-effective against, or resist, the leader’s main type. In other words a challenger is only allowed to have up to 3 Pokémon whose types are super-effective or resistant to the gym/E4 member being challenged.
4.) Challengers are allowed to use Mega Pokemon, however, they cannot use a Mega that's type is super-effective or resists the Gym/E4 Member being challenged.
5.) Challengers do not have to use the same team when they challenge different Gyms/E4 members. A challenger could use 6 different Pokemon for every gym if they wish to as long as they follow all of the other rules.
6.) If you are defeated by a gym you will not be able to challenge that gym again for 1 day, however if you are defeated by an Elite 4 member you will not be able to challenge that Elite member again for 2 days. If you lose 3 times to that Elite member you will have to start over from the first Elite 4 member again and earn your way back up, the same rules apply when challenging the champion.
7.) Challengers can challenge any gym leader they want no matter what order they are in. If a challenger loses to a gym he/she can challenge a different gym if they are waiting to re-challenge a gym they lost to. Once a challenger makes it to the E4 they can challenge the E4 members in any order they want. However, if a challenger lose 3 times to the same E4 member and has to restart from the beginning again he/she must re-challenge the E4 in the same order that he/she did the first time.
8.) If there are any issues or complaints a challenger has regarding a Gym Leader or Elite 4 member you may contact the founder of the leagues: DarkAssasen

1.) Leaders are allowed to have up to 4 subs at most for their team, any more than that and a leader would have to audition again with their new team. In other words a leader would always have to have at least 2 pokemon on their team that they originally auditioned with. A leader can have more than just 4 different sub pokemon but can only use 4 at most in a battle.
2.) A leader cannot sub any of his/her pokemon if he/she is giving a challenger a re-mach, in other words a leader must use the exact same pokemon that he/she used in the first battle with that challenger.
3.) Gym Leaders can use mega evolution Pokémon as long as the mega evolution is the type that the gym is, however if the Pokémons type isn't the gyms type prior to mega evolution they must mega evolve it as soon as they throw it out. Gym leaders cannot switch to those Pokemon unless they are already the same type prior to mega evolution or their Pokemon fainted the previous turn.
Example: A water type gym leader can switch to Gyarados then mega evolve it if he/she wishes as its still a water type before and after mega evolution. However, a dark type gym leader would have to throw Gyarados out first or after his/her Pokemon fainted the previous turn then either mega evolve it or switch Pokemon on that turn. A flying type gym leader would be allowed to use Gyarados but he/she would not be allowed to mega evolve it since it stops being a Flying type and becomes a Dark type.
4.) A gym leader cannot use a pokemon that has the ability Protean as it changes the pokemons type, a leader can use Greninja or Kecleon but they must have their regular ability’s.
5.) After battling with a challenger a Leader must post a Battle Result Form in this thread. A Leader must save their battle video to prove who the winner is and to help insure that no rules were broken during the battle.
