This club is for fans of the game Boktai: The Sun is In Your Hand (Also called Shin Bokura No Taiyou). You can discuss the excursions of Django and Otenko, or mearly talk about your opinions of the game or any of the game's characters.

Rules:

No bashing of any characters (Saying you dislike them is fine, but don't go to far).

Try to stay on topic (The game of manga of Boktai, mostly). It's fine to stray a little every once in a while, but mostly

keep on subject.

No Spamming (obviously). This club is not a chatroom, don't treat it as such.

Use proper grammar. Again, this is not a chatroom, so don't use words like "U, ur, r, wat", etc.

Just to make sure you're paying attention, the first person that wants to join must type "affac" at the end of their post.

I'd like to join, I have Boktai 2! I don't have the manga. It was $69.00 for shipping.

Boktai DS was recently named Lunar Knights. Kinda dumb but cool.

Ah, Lunar Knights, that game looks awesome. In fact, I'll make our first topic about that.

What do you think of the two new characters (Lucian and Aaron)?

I love them, though at first, everyone thought it was Django and Sabata. Lucian looks cool, with his big sword, and Aaron uses cool looking guns.

Aaron looks the better out of the two. Mainly because I had a weird dream involving him using 2 Gun Del Sol's.

Lucian has the ability to block (I don't think Aaron has) so I think he'll be best in close range fights.

I hope that Aaron's guns are customisable. Imagine if you could use the Solar Lense on one gun and the Ice Lense on the other, how useful would that be? Freeze the Immortal and blast them with their weakness.

Wow that was awsome, I really liked what you could do with the stylus. I lke Lucian but Aaron is kinda meh. I got Boktai today for $7.00 and I'm about to start. So how bout a new topic?

What do you think of the new name?
I personally like Lunar Knights better than just "Boktai" It sounds way cooler too.

Actually both Aaron and Lucian are Butt-Ugly. Lucian's EyePatch is screwy and Aaron has Bug Eyes.

I would love Boktai to be on the Revolution. That would rock so much.

Yeah, the only thing I dislike about Lucian is his eyepatch. What is he, a pirate? Is he going to the Grand Line to search for One Piece? Aaron's eyes are weird, but they're just eyes...

ZOMG the Sun appears on the top screen!

Aaron still looks like an insect. ZOMG maybe they can morph into animals and Aaron becomes a Bug!

There won't be a sunlight sensor, just an ingame sun/moon but if you have one of the GBA games you can plus that in as well and the DS game will use the solar sensor from the older game.

Well, they can't exactly call the game "Boktai", since the sun's being blocked off (I believe "Boktai" is Japanese for "The Sun we all live under" or something of the sort. I'm not entirely sure, though.) Lunar Knights sounds pretty cool, though the lack of Pile Driver saddens me... All well, the casket rocket looks fun, too.

Lunar Knight's is still a working title, so it's not confirmed yet.

Boktai 3 needs a release soon. It's almost summer so it's the perfect time to release it. They hopefully won't make the same mistake like they did with Boktai 2 when they released it in November.

I doubt Gyakushuu no Sabata (Dubbed Boktai 3 by fans, is translated to "Sabata's Counterattack") is going to get a western release, because Koonami hates us T_T. By the looks of it, Lunar Knights will be released in the US before Gyakushuu no Sabata is. I mean, they released it in english, that's gotta mean it's being translated. Meh, even if it doesn't, I swear I'm importing this game. Now for a new topic.

What pairings do you like?

This'll be a pretty short discussion, since there are only two girls in the game (c'mon, GIVE US MORE GIRLS!). Come to think of it, there aren't many characters in the game period.

Anyway, I think Django x Lita is... Alright, I usually dislike pairing the main character with someone, since there's ALWAYS more than one girl of possible love interest. The only pairing I like is Sabata x Zazie, as their the only two people that seem to interact. Any comments about "But Sabata's a vampire!" and I shoot.

There are 3 girls in Boktai. Zazie, Lita and that girl whom I can't remember but she has Blonde hair has a black cat and hangs around with Zazie.

Pairings aren't really my thing.

Boktai is short for Bokura no Taiyou, which means "Our Sun". Lame name, I know. (Hey, that rhymed! XD)
