Takes place after the Batttle Frontier saga.
Prologue
Our four friends, Ash, May, Max and Brock are sitting in a Pokemon Center talking about what's next for them.
"So, Ash, what IS next for us in our travels?" May asked.
"I dunno, why do I have to decide?" Ash said simply.
"Maybe we should all call home and see what our families have to say." Brock suggested.
"Good idea, Brock, we haven't talked to our parents in a while." Max said with glee.
"Well, there's two phones, you guys can go first." Brock said.
"Thanks" May said bluntly.
Ash, May and Max went to the phones and dialed their parent's numbers. Ash's mom answered first. Then a couple seconds later May and Max's father answered. They began to talk.
"So, mom, we just got done at the battle frontier and we were wondering what we were going to do now that we're done. I'm going to come visit you and then ask Professor Oak about places to go." Ash told her.
"Alright, Honey, I'll see you in a few days!" Delia said joyfully.
Ash hung up the phone and went back to talk to the rest of them.
"Well, what did you're parents say?" Ash asked.
"We have bad news." Max said.
"Yeah, my parents are sending me to Lilycove for a few weeks to stay with family as a vacation, then my dad said he had a surprise for me." May said.
"And even worse, my parents are sending me to Rustboro for Trainer's School for a year before i turn ten." Max said sadly.
"I guess it's just Brock and I then." Ash said.
Brock then came up behind him.
"I'm afraid not. I have to go back to Pewter, my family needs me. My father just died." Brock sobbed.
"Guess I'm going back home by myself then." Ash said unhappily.
Ash then had a thought and he brightened up.
"I know! I'll visit Misty!" Ash exclaimed.
Episode 1: Setting Off!
Ash is just arriving in Cerulean City. He sees it has really grown since he's been gone. There are large buildings around and much more people. He has trouble finding the gym in all of the busy streets. Finally he spots the big Dewgong on the front of the gym. He runs toward it and goes in. He goes quietly hoping to surprise her. Then a voice from behind him yelled and made him jump.
"Hi Ash!" Misty yelled and scared Ash.
"Misty, I wanted to surprise you." Ash said.
"I saw you coming before you came in the gym." Misty explained.
"Well, everyone is else is gone, so I thought, 'Hey, I'll visit Misty' and here I am!" Ash explained.
"Well, hey, let's go in the kitchen and eat and we can talk." Misty said.
"Ok, let's go!" Ash said and they walked off.
Now in the kitchen, Ash and Misty are eating and reminiscing about their old journeys. They are laughing and talking.
"Remember when you were hypnotized and thought you were a seel?" Ash laughed. "Or when Team Rocket gave you a makeover?"
"Hey, remember when I hit you over the head when you got stupid?" Misty laughed but Ash stopped.
"OH ASH! What are you doing next on your journey?" Misty asked.
"Nothing at all. Everyone has somewhere to be except me." Ash said sadly.
"Great! You can come with me to the Gym Leader Rankings in Lake Moss City!" Misty exclaimed.
"Gym Leader Rankings? Lake Moss City?" Ash asked.
"Yeah. All of the gyms in the world close for three months for a test where gym leaders are ranked for there skill and knowledge of Pokemon to make sure they are up to standard. It takes place in Lake Moss City, which is in Bunure! After that trainers can travel around Bunure to battle volunteering trainers and gym leaders to collect 9 ribbons which allow you to participate in the Bunure Masters Tournament. But the thing is, it's all two-on-two battling and I was planning on entering but I need a partner."
"And you want me to help?" Ash asked.
"No, I was thinking May." Misty said plainly.
"Oh." Ash said softly.
"I'm kidding! I want you to be my partner!" Misty said.
"Cool, when do we leave?" Ash asked.
"um....Tomorrow." Misty said.
"I was planning on visiting Mom, but it sounds great! I'm in!" Ash exclaimed.
"Ok, we leave EARLY tomorrow for Vermilion to go on a ship to Bunure. Let's hope it doesn't sink this time." Misty said.
"Well, it's late, I think Pikachu and I are going to go to bed. See you in the morning." Ash said.
"Ok, good night. Hey, there's a phone in your room if you want to call anyone." Misty told him.
"Pika!" Pikachu explained.
The Dodrio crows and it is morning. Ash and Pikachu wake up and go look for Misty. Finally they find her in the battle room. She is battling a young girl who sends out a Bulbasaur. Misty sends out a Seadra, who goes underwater. The girl orders Bulbasaur to use Stun Spore in the water, Seadra does nothing for a while untill Misty yells "NOW!" and Seadra comes up and uses an aicd attack on him, then a water gun and Bulbasaur goes flying in the water. The match is over.
"Wow, she's gotten good." Ash says to himself or so he thinks. Misty's sisters, Dasiy, Violet and Lily are behind him.
"Like, Hi Ash!" Dasiy greets him.
"Hi everyone. Are you guys here to watch the gym while Misty's gone?" He asked.
"Yeah, it's like, a total bummer. We were all with our boyfriends, but I guess it's Misty's turn for that now." Violet hinted.
"Yeah, she gets to be with you!" Lilly teased.
"LILLY! Stop! I'm so glad I get to be away from this place for a while, I'm sick of it." Misty said.
"Yeah, she totally misses you!" Daisy exclaimed.
Then Dasiy was in tears when Misty hit her with her famous mallet.
"Have a nice trip you guys!" Lilly said.
"Yeah, make the gym look good!" Violet said.
"And don't hit people with your mallet!" Daisy added.
Ash and Misty waved goodbye and set off. They walked through the route until they reached Vermilion. Ash had just noticed Misty was wearing a new outfit. It was a a blue tank-top with light blue circles on it with w pair of shorts like the ones she used to wear. When they reached the ports, they went in the ship and they were off!
"So, Mist, what pokemo did you bring?" Ash asked.
"Oh, you'll find out. C'mon, let's go to the battle room!" Misty exclaimed.
When they got to the battle room, there were many trainers there. Misty went up to a trainer, a boy about their age.
"Hey, wanna have a battle?" Misty asked.
"Sure, sounds fun" The boy said.
The boy sent out a Kirlia and Misty put a smile on her face.
"Go Umbreon!" She sent out an Umbreon and it jumped with glee.
Ash looked surprised and shocked. Kirlia used a psychic attack but Umbreon just shook it off, unharmed. Then Umbreon sent a faint attack on Kirlia but it teleported, when Umbreon tried again it hit dead on, Kirlia was hurt. Umbreon finished it off with a bite attack, which caused Kirlia to get close to fainting, but it got back up. By now the battle attracted a large crowd. Kirlia used recover and got back up, seemingly unharmed. Kirlia then used thunderbolt, which seemed to hurt Umbreon pretty bad, but he continued to fight. He used another feint attack and hurt Kirlia badly, then used a strange form of tackle, which Misty called Feint Tackle, where Umbreon glowed and hit Kirlia to the point where it couldn't get up. The match was over. Misty won. Everyone, especially Ash, cheered for her.
"Hey, great job." Misty said and shook the boy's hand.
"Thanks, you too. My name's Glen. I'm a psychic trainer." He said.
"I'm Misty and I'm the Cerulean Gym leader, I specialise in water types but Umbreon is special. I got him as an eevee form my friend Sakura and he evolved into Umbreon." Misty explained. "Oh and this is my friend, Ash. He's my partner for the Tournament. What are you doing in Bunure?"
"I do contests. I'm here for the Contest Festival that goes on during the Master's tournament."
"Hey, why don't you travel with us! We could always use an extra friend!" Ash suggested.
"That sounds great! If you guys do the trainer battles in all of the contest cities, it could work!" Glen said.
Just then the boat stopped. They had arrived in Lake Moss City. It looked like there was a festival, there were carnival rides, battle spots, games and lots of food. The three smiled as they looked on to there next challenge which includes fierce battles, REAL villains, old friends, new friends and even betrayal.
Sorry the first one was so short, it was just the beginning and i didn't have much for it, the rest with actual stories will be much longer. Please give thoughts
